Nomade Eau de Toilette

I LOVE this perfume! Nomade EDT is fresher, brighter and lighter than the original EDP. I find it opens with a citrusy note, but it must be the litchi. It dries down to smell clean and fresh, floral and beautiful. It is somewhat linear. This perfume would suit any age - it is youthful yet mature at the same time! It lasts several hours on my skin and is never overpowering. It is absolutely perfect for spring, summer, probably even fall, but would maybe be too light for winter. When it comes to comparing the EDT and EDP, I'm also a huge fan of the EDP. I love them both. The EDT to me is better for a hot summer day when you want a more fresh, citrus feel. The only downside of the EDT is that it isn't super easy to find - I don't see it on as many sites as I'd like but safe to say I'm definitely upgrading my mini bottle to full size as soon as possible. EDIT: I bought a full size of the EDT and love it. One of my go-to scents this summer. Now I am finished my travel size of the EDP so a full-size of that one is on my list next. Then, to try the Absolu :)

Interesting, lively, spicy, sunny, tropical. Slightly elegant in a bit of retro style, but also young and modern. It's funny, but Chloe Nomade seems to be my "on-off" perfume relationship - I always come back, even to the flankers. In the heat it develops not only a fruity, but almost a vegetable smell on my skin, possibly an effect of the green oakmoss. Sounds a bit weird, but just that makes it interesting enough for me to wear it more often. I think I'm the person who needs a bit of weirdness in her scents to keep the interest going (except for my "safe" perfumes for work). So it is an "almost office-safe perfume" with an edge. For an eau de toilette, longevity is great and it unfolds different layers. And certainly it contains more notes (in the deep drydown I discover the same sandalwood as in the Edp and also a little shy cinnamon, which I can usually smell in the top notes of the Absolu). IMO the bottle and the images in the ad match the frag perfectly. Nomade is uplifting and free-spirited.

I originally bought a sample of the EDP but since stays hot and humid here for the majority of the year, I wanted to try the EDT. In the initial spray, I was immediately reminded of DKNY Be Delicious, but much smoother. I wouldn't say it smells exactly like lychee because lychee is quite sweet, but maybe it's more like a mix of lychee/green apple/guava. It's very juicy and fresh. Imagine taking the original EDP and turning it into a shampoo, and that's what the EDT feels like to me. The first time I wore it, I got almost no oakmoss. However, as I wore it more and the days got warmer, the oakmoss has come out. I've seen people say that it's almost the same as the EDP, but I disagree. Although you can clearly smell the Nomade DNA in the EDT, it's mainly a fruity/juicy fragrance for me even with the oakmoss. I love the EDP and the EDT, and I don't think having both would be redundant in anyone's collection.

I left review to this perfume in 2021 somewhere below. It did not like back then but I never get rid of the bottle. This smell confused me in the range “is it love or hate?”. I never wore since then. I recently decided to give it a try again. And I realized i should apply this EDT very sparingly, just a slight bit on my chest, spray from the distance. This way the fragrance opens up nicely. I think my skin intensifies the aromas. It is easy to overspray it. Or, perhaps it is not my skin, it is the fragrance. It is meant to be laid gently, in small quantity. Now I totally understand this aroma. It has harmony and charm. I call it “soft chypre”- with some flower and fruits lingering in there. The drydown is absolutely heavenly. I am so glad I kept this bottle.

Love at first sniff when I went to Chloé boutique! I thought that I'm not gonna love it as the notes are not usual for me and given that I'm into more citrusy, floral, and fresh (although I have sweet and gourmand perfume lol). It took a while before I buy this and voila, I got this with huge discount! Another signature scent of mine for sure. Because of this perfume, I discovered that I'm into mossy perfume as it smells beautiful on my skin on its dry-down. Smells fruity, fresh, and sophisticated for me, and if you gonna ask me, this perfume is unconventional and I wanna gatekeep this (haha). Lasts longer also, which I DO LOVE! Can recommend it to those who love chypre scent who loves oakmoss as base notes.

i bought the edt first before knowing there were two versions of this perfume and i wrote a whole paragraph about it in the edp reviews section I own and love both but the edt is my first love 💕 The edp is very woody and strong with powerful sillage. I love the edt the most , It’s airy clean and sophisticated . If i had to describe it in one word it would be : Chic So chic and expensive smelling . The longevity is amazing for an edt . It’s a love love A signature scent worthy for sure especially if you live in a hot humidity weather i feel confident and unique when i wear it It makes me feel like a Chanel girly

@jacig1957 i do not get that much peach in the EDP but a lot of guava, which i guess must be the mirabelle. I own the EDT and dont get ANY peach in it. But I do get a lot of "guava" on it too, although not as in-your-face- ish. In the EDT it is accompanied by a refreshing lichee and smells waaay less sweet than in the EDP. So if there is a chance what disturbs you might be the mirabelle and not only the peach, you might not like the EDT too, because it is still very fruity. But it is still a lighter, fresher, more transparent scent than the original.

Finally got a chance to try this, let me just say to me it was another case of love at first sniff and chemistry wise it just worked. Will do a full review later on need more time to get to know Nomade EDT chances are I'll still be getting the EDP as well. But a small first impressions: Upon spraying it I'm hit with a mix fruity/floral notes and upon drydown it still remains there I have yet to pick up on any oak moss however as I only detect the Lychee and Freesia. A lighter, fruiter take on the edp with the edges rounded out. I’m no tropical fruit expert so I couldn’t tell you if it’s guava but it definitely has a tropical fruit vibe. The oakmoss in the base really does it for me. It’s easygoing fruity floral and serious earthiness balancing one another, really beautifully. Imagine pretty girls, having fun, drinking pretty fruity cocktails and everybody’s direct deposit from their big girl job just hit.

<3 I guess a lot of sophisticated noses are quite picky and mostly underwhelmed by contemporary mainstream fragrances and go for vintage or niche, but it doesn’t apply to me. I appreciate designer houses’ current approach blending just a handful amount of notes. I personally don’t need a massive olfactory pyramid like in big vintages, or the exact opposite approach in niche perfumery, with its quite minimalistic style.

This perfume is stunning. I love the oak moss in the dry down, it gives the perfume a beautiful melancholic vibe which I am obsessed with. My husband couldn’t get enough of it and said it smelt like I was in ‘mating season’ 😂 so a very successful blind buy. And this lasts such a long time for an EDT! I put it on 6 hours ago and can still very clearly smell it. I honestly can’t recommend it enough.

I wanted to love the edp so much but turns out the edt is so much better! Less woody, fruitier fresher and more interesting! I wish Chloe would not discontinue this version EDIT: the perfume actually do last a long long time on skin even it is an EDT! I really like the slightly dirty and mossy-musky dry down it smells like your natural skin! but not the very clean musky trend these days.

Finally I managed to sniff it. I sprayed one hand edt and the other edp. First impression was they are the same, but when you compare them hand to hand, edt has some citrusy freshness and was much softer, after a while I clearly detected edp but edt was gone. Maybe on clothes it would last longer. Now I am not sure which one to buy.

I honestly love this. The litchi here gives a tart, fruity, masculine leaning twist, but doesn't take the fragrance full unisex imo. I love that about litchi. But the freesia and rose keep it airy. Also thrilled about the oakmoss in the base, I don't see that as a prominent base note nearly as much as I'd like to.

I sprayed one spray of this on my arm at the duty free shop before my flight. Hours later I was waiting for my baggage at the carousel and kept smelling something really good and realized it was me. Excellent longevity and sillage. This is a fresh fruity chypre that is perfect for summer.

It is my favourite fruity floral perfume for now. It is quite likeable but still unique. The oakmoss adds a little bitter vibe to the sour-sweet base. It makes me happy every time I wear it and it was the only perfume I wanted to wear for more than a month after purchasing it.

This is beautiful, elegant fruity floral with an edge from the oak moss that stops it from being too mature. This is the modern Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. So easy to wear. If you love lychee and oak moss then this is a safe blind buy.

I would call this Nomade L'eau or some spring editon. Very light floral-fruity scent with a little oakmoss. I'm not into floral perfumes, but this is actually nice, easy to wear, there is no masculine note at all (like in the EDP).

This is so so so pretty! Chypre has never been this modern or beautiful. This is an airy chypre scent. The lychee in the beginning adds this juicy start to the scent that just makes it extremely likeable.

Love it... The lychee note is delicious... No more acidic Mirabelle Plum note and it shines... Of course I still love the original too

I love this entire range, the EDT, EDP and Absolu are all recognisable flankers that share DNA. They are bright, woody, fresh and have a real bite to them, they're beautiful and also quite complex. EDT is light, bright, fruity, floral, citrussy and woody. I will occasionally get Miss Dior Cherie vibes from this, I think it's that fruity, woody, citrus chypre blend. I get a really lovely dewy rose note in the opening, it's almost like a quince type note, we have a quince bush in the garden and the florals in here remind me of it. The freesia is lovely and fresh, Mirabelle is fruity and juicy. I sometimes get a strongly herbal note in here when it's on my inner elbow, almost minty?! I imagine it's the davana. The oakmoss is earthy, green and has that chypre bite. I find it bracing, it gives the feeling of standing on top of a hill overlooking a lush and verdant valley of wildflowers and woodland, on a brisk spring day with a strong wind bracing and refreshing you after a tiring climb to the brow of the hill. I feel that this is brighter and in my imagination, it's less 'pink' than Miss Dior Cherie, and more sunshine yellow. I'm surprised there's no patchouli in this, I think it's the earthiness and mossiness of the oakmoss, and the herbal green davana that reminds me of patchouli. It projects well for the first few hours and probably lasts 6 or so hours on my skin. It works beautifully in warm weather and would make an excellent signature scent. I think this EDT is already discontinued which is a real shame, they are so interesting and complex fragrances 😭 I can see that the line doesn't entirely fit that romantic, bohemian, folksy, free spirit and girl next door Chloe-esque imagery but I think they're beautiful and it would be a real shame if the rest of the line is discontinued as I've seen rumours of (Reddit and in Fragrantica reviews).

This is so sad to me. I sprayed my wrist and ten seconds later my roommate (who was upstairs) said “are you wearing perfume?” One spray! I loved how the scent developed the sweetness of the litchi blended so well into the earthier notes. The citrus and mirabelle definitely prevent the rose becoming too strong. Unique but still a very wearable scent. It dried down and I really had to sniff my wrist to get the beautiful scent. Later that day I saw my parents who said “you are wearing a lot of perfume!” ONE SPRAY! It seems I am nose blind to a very strong fragrance. I had to return it 🥲 If I could barely smell it but all my loved ones were taken aback by the strength it wasn’t worth it. This doesn’t seem to be a common occurrence so definitely worth trying for yourself because it is a really wonderful scent.

I ordered the duo set and got an EDP instead of the EDT I ordered. It's not that different that the EDT but it IS different and I would prefer the EDT. I have a huge collection of perfume and as I head towards seventy a whole knowledge base. I'm so pleased I stocked up on some classics before Covid because they are now so hard to get and much more expensive. I don't buy many mainstream perfumes these days and I wear a great many that are loved by me that never fired commercially. As an example I love the remake of Balmain's Ivoire with a bottle that can't help being insanely chic; it was inexpensive. Mine is not to reason why but Chloe Nomade keeps me interested. It is tart and stroppy but not vulgar, lasts all day. Buy the EDT.

It's a nice perfume but nothing to be crazy about. It shares like 65% with the edp but lacks the kick that makes the edp so beautiful and unique. It's like the shy younger sister who shares the same genes and main features with her older gorgeous sister but she's not as perfect as her. This is perfect if the edp is too strong for you or if you want to reapply during the day on the top of it. Longevity and sillage are impressive for such a light airy eau de toilette. Edit after more wears: I underestimated it. Although not as deep and unique as the edp but equally beautiful. On my skin it turns powdery and the strong litchi note fades away which I prefer. I like it a lot.

This is Nomade with oakmoss and patchouli both greatly toned down. A much lighter and delicate chypre, mixed with dominant sweet floral fruity notes. The result is even fresher than the original, supported by citrusy undertones. Pretty soft and inoffensive, the EdT is easy to wear in the office and in the heat, but it doesn't have the dirty retro unisex vibe of the EdP that makes it so special to me. A safe choice for those who want an easygoing and girly version of Nomade.

When I was trying this perfume for the first time I was skeptical because it's just EDT and I only wear EDPs. But the sillage and longevity are better than a lot of EDPs. I didn't try EDP version but this one is really pleasant for me - sweet and strong. It's not very unique but it's my style. Even though patchouli is not listed in the ingredients I smell the feel of it. I won't buy it but maybe I'll try the EDP. This perfume matches warm sunny weather.

Now that I know Nomade it's easy to me identify the same style, its peculiar trace in this even brighter essence. I think maybe this Edt version was in the intent of the creative nose at the time of the first release 'cause it's so perfect. I'm still dreaming of my dunes, desert sand, dusty dryness of the ground, which perhaps will be more pronounced in a future version, I hope, while I appreciate this awesome creation.

I generally stay clear of florals but this ... gosh, so pleasant and appealing. I smell the lychee almost all the way through to dry down but that's not to say it's a linear fragrance. It's the first time I completely agree with the marketing jargon for a perfume - it is captivating, luminous and elegant.

This version is very similar to the original just lighter. The lychee gives this a slightly tropical vibe which makes it a nice summer fragrance. I think I prefer the boozy plum from the EDP though. But again they are very similar and you can't go wrong with either one. Beautiful!

I thought this was lovely. Tropical to start off with, more like quava to me than lychee, juicy. Then turns to a pretty floral/fruity scent all the way to dry down. Longevity is good and so is sillage.

Straight up guava. You know those guava candies? It's like that. Good stuff if I were into fresh fruity perfumes for warm days. I've been going back and forth about whether I should get a bottle.

This is nice. I like to wear this Eau de Toilette MUCH BETTER than the Eau de Parfum. It’s a lot more wearable, not as heavy or obnoxious. It is fresher and lighter and floral. I like it a lot!

is that just me? why I can smell the Guava most of the time while they don't even have this note in the list...... anyway, it smell addictive coz' i like the "Guava" smell thou.

This is so chic and pretty. Love her. You mostly get the citrus and freesia and oakmoss. It's a little overly perfumey as a concoction but very nice.

I agree with everyone who said that this is the EDP’s shy, awkward little sister. I bought this with the hope that she’d be a lighter version of the EDP that would be more suited for daily wear, but the absence of wood notes in the base (imo, what makes the EDP sultry, slightly gritty, and special) almost makes this scent too safe and not as interesting as she could be. I like it a little better after layering with Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt, but I think I still prefer the EDP overall. Not a terrible value for the price, but fell a little short of my expectations!

Nomade EDT is the 'lighter' flanker, but still very potent, linear scent that lasts and lasts... no opening, middle notes, or dry down, it's exactly the same hours after you've sprayed it, no need to reapply. Have about half a bottle left, but can't bring myself to wear it anymore. I only use it as a room spray nowadays, on the inside of my curtains, just to use it up. I get what dancingdear said before me, one spray goes a long way. Nothing subtle about this one, screams 'perfume!' to everyone in the vicinity.

Too much freesia. And quite a bit of moss. It would be nice to smell on someone else but I find the freesia overwhelming on my skin. I prefer the EDP and absolu which I feel balance out the florals better. It is clean and would be suitable for a professional environment, I had high hopes of wearing this to work but I am going to have to pass.

Smells kind of like a fancy hotel. Getting a cinnamon-like top note for some reason. Overall, smells vaguely of spiced fruit over a light mossy base. Has a synthetic quality and suffers from overblending, but smells okay. Fairly light, good for wearing to work.

I've heard a lot about this brave modern chypre and bought a big bottle of it and a small bottle of absolu edp, because of the notes and my sincere belief that Quentin Bisch can do no wrong. Based on the comments below, I must be the only one that gets the "Nomade" reference all to well. As every journey, it starts with a promise of something wonderfull, you are awake, fresh out of the shower and smell of tropical fruits and flowers. Very nice. The sun comes out, it's warming up and after a couple of hours arises the need, known to all the nomads, the need of shower, increasing with every step. It is absolutely horrible in confined places like planes, cars and small rooms. At first I thought it smelled like sweaty skin or wet leather/suide, but leather is not listed at all. Fake oakmoss, is that it? The drydown gives off some metall iodine notes as a faint wiff of Baccarat 540 would. The same happens with Absolu edp and it saddens me greatly. It is early days and I have only worn both in summer. I hope colder weather does some magic to my poor bottles, otherwise it is curtains for both.

This was a blind buy that I originally regretted. My first experience with this scent was horrible. On paper, strong oak moss was all I smelled; it was very off-putting. It sat on a shelf for awhile. Recently, I was decluttering my collection, and decided to revisit it before selling. I'm now undecided. On my skin, it is a warm spicy/woody fragrance, with light florals and a hint of musk in the background. It feels full and well rounded. In the air (or on clothing) it smells very flat and synthetic. The smell you get from Christmas decorations when they've just been pulled from storage. For me, the main drawback is sillage and strength: they're too strong for my taste. This last 1-2 days in the air, on my clothing, and skin; regardless of showering/washing. I find this overpowering and a bit annoying. I get headaches from powerful sillage, and also don't want to commit to a single fragrance for two days in a row. I'll probably end up selling this.

I totally missed I had a sample of the EDT, but discovered it yesterday, so went ahead and sprayed it once on my wrist (around noon). I could smell it all day, without having to bring my nose to where I sprayed, and it was still there when I woke up this morning! Pretty impressive, given this is an EDT. This has, however, nothing to do with a nomade in my opinion (who moves from one place to another), or a tanned woman with boots on, horses and a desert (commercial), as I did not pick up on anything woody or earthy at all. Instead, it just kept being floral (freesia) and fruity (litchi). It’s not tropical or solar to me either. The EDP might be more up my alley, given the more ‘masculine’ base notes. Overall, I did find this a very elegant longlasting fruity/floral that I would imagine on a confident but kind, sophisticated woman of 40+, who prefers luxury and never wears casual clothing, always chic.

Weirdly, upon initial spray it smells like Indian food to me lol. It smells like the green chutney that you're supposed to dip samosas in. Something about this perfume is cilantro-y like the chutney. Maybe it's the strange blend of oak moss, freesia and lychee. The original is a lot more solid and has more substance to it. The dry down of this is pure freesia. A very, very basic freesia that is borderline nauseating. Very late 90s/early 2000s bath and body works. I adore how cute and unique the bottle is though.

Please! I think it's girly, I think it's cheap. 2/10, very boring fragrance, not for an elegant woman.

Yes, it is brighter & lighter than the EDP, but in being brighter & lighter it loses what makes the EDP so special to me; that balmy warmth that transports me to Laurel Canyon in the ‘70s, open windows, bare feet, sunlight through leaves, wildflower bouquets. This feels much...safer, borderline pedestrian. But for many people, this EDT will be much more approachable, due in large part to the addition of lychee which gives this a very clean, perfume-y smell, not unlike the soapy bite of the much-beloved Chloé EDP. For me, this lychee note smells the way perfume tastes when you accidentally catch some in your mouth. It’s not an unpleasant perfume over all, but I miss the courage of the EDP which smells so gorgeously lived in & self-assured & sexy. This EDT is the shyer, paler sister. 9/14/23 EDIT: Ok—I feel compelled to amend this review after spending more time with this fragrance over the summer; yes, it is more tame & more approachable than it’s deeper, more sensuous sister, the EDP; yes, it lacks some of the EDP’s lush, bohemian charm. However, it retains the EDP’s warmth & scintillating quality; in the EDP this quality feels jammy, in the EDT it is juicier. If the EDP is barefoot & suntanned & arrives to the party in a bell sleeved linen blouse & no bra, the EDT arrives in faded jeans & rattan mules; similar spirit, but not as given over. It is brighter, lighter, & fresher than the EDP; think of warm summer days when the clouds cast shadows & you eat a peach that leaves your fingers sticky as you ride your bike beneath trees thick with August. This fragrance is memorable, though not as strident as the EDP, & it maintains that bronzed, fuzzy, lived-in feeling that the EDP captures, even if this one is slightly more posh. I have caught the tremulous ghost of this fragrance rising in a warm cloud between my bedsheets on many a summer night, & each time it has made me smile: rosy, juicy, dreamy. What I love about the Nomade line is its vision: I see the woman who I imagine embodying these perfumes. The EDP is a woman who takes each day as it comes, she doesn’t need a plan because she knows herself, she is self-assured, free spirited, & unapologetic. The EDT is the woman who is becoming the aforementioned woman; she’s hopeful, aspirational, & stronger than she seems. If you’re on the fence, I advise you stick with her.

nomade edt, summer test, skin, also tested absolute and edp edt is bright, white or yellow fruits and possibly a white flower giving the light airyness to it. this is not as mossy and earthy as the other two though the moss and woods are detectable giving this a non garden non gourmand take on fruit. the fruit is semi juicy initially, not sharp. i would need to test this on its own and i think this whole line needs a skin test in different seasons, the edt is not very detectable though i think had i tested this in the later arvo i would be able to discern it alot more (plus i have another scent on elsewhere). bright sillage, not great longevity, airy take on fruit+mossy

Fresh sweetness (must be the litchee) on the first spray, dries down to a soft calm base. A modern fragrance well done, it is not cloying at all and the lasting power is a solid 10/10. It's just that I'm not a huge fan of oakmoss so I don't think I'll be getting a bigger bottle of this (glad I sampled it before blind buying it), the duration of Nomade on your skin is like 20% of litchee and the rest of 80% will be oakmoss. If you are new to earthy tones or woody blends, this is a very subtle one to start off with. P.S. I love the design of the bottle but I wish the name had been different

OH MY GOSH,, Has to be one of my new favorites!!!! Smelled it in Macy’s couple weeks ago and left the store ,, after I got home I fell in love with it and said I must have it Just received it in the mail today Definetly smell the litchi and oak moss . Litchi is very unique smell, almost sour smelling and the oak moss adds this “dirty/ earthy vibe to it ,, freesia balances it out ,,, all In all it’s a scent I’ve never smelt before VERY FEMININE , VERY STRONG , SPRAY LIGHTY , TO ME IT CAN BECOME CLOYING / OVERPOWERING if sprayed too much . 5/5 STARS!!!!

I Nomade EdT brings femininity to a market of unisex perfumes, loud sweet creations and water down flankers. It gives a vibe from the early 80’s, it starts bright and sunny, almost too simple and naive. But slowly grows and spread like a wild bugainvillea in summertime. The innocent freesia becomes a sexy sweet tropical flower thanks to the Lychee. It exudes confidence and sensuality. The oakmoss is noticeable but basically it gives a sort of structure to the other notes. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it as a secret weapon for special occasions;)
