Nomade Nuit d’Egypte

I love it so much. It's not straight up orangeblossom. Yes, it's a crowdpleaser, but what's wrong with that? Performance could be better but still good. 4-5 hours on skin, on clothes, the whole day and then some. The sweetness is juuust perfect! And that drydown vanilla 🤤... What does it smell like? Well, nothing like nomade, just a hint of the DNA far far in the background. Opening a blast of orangeblossom and candied fruit. Mmmmm. Zero cinnamon t.m.n. The ginger I got in the drydown, spicy peppery, so gooood, but you have to spray liberally! Edit: I got the opoponax, aka incense, but it only showed itself on clothes and again I sprayed quite liberally.) Was driving and thinking why am I smelling incense on my jacket? Jup. The drydown is VANILLA, Orange Blossom, iris, a hint of spicyness from the ginger, a hint of incense and some delicious sweetness of the fruits. I have no idea what Kyphi smells like. 🤷. What matters that it's utterly addictive. This fragrance is very much misunderstood by first impression sniffers, which i get. Get yourself a sample or two, douce yourself incl clothes and get testing. This can stand next to niche orangeblossom fragrances quality and scentwise, imo. Performance on clothes is excellent and doesn't morph into something else, but the ginger and incense does show itself better. The amount used here is chef's kiss. Just adds a bit of interest but is not intrusive at all. The balance here is PERFECT. 10/10 I'm in love 🤩 Also, headscratch. imo....smells nothing like nomade naturelle tmn which i've tested twice on skin. It's way better and more modern then terracotta but still has that same vintage floral vibe in the drydown, like terracotta, which i don't love so that was a pass for me. But i do get why it's loved! Nuit d'Egypte is all about fruity vanillic orangeblossom. Naturelle is about tropical-coconutty banana jasmine. First impression reviews are just that, a first impression and should be taken with a big bag of salt, even more then the already very subjective opinion of someone who owns the fragrance. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Fragrantica should really have a first impression button added. But maybe that's just me?

I have a sample for which I cannot give a great review. I like to appreciate the fragrances well after several uses, but it was a crush at first smell, I am not a fan of Chloé mainly because of the way they treat the note of rose, is not my profile of fragrances but the Nomade line has magic, the hands and excellent nose of Quentin Bisch created the first three of the line and although this one has no point in common with those outside the name, you feel a fragrance of enormous quality although do not propose anything new, the orange blossom in its most enjoyable facet (to my personal taste) with a vanilla far from everything that is currently sold, here there are no excesses of sweet, nor anything lactonic and much less gourmand, this is a oriental vanilla and it cannot be otherwise because of the components that accompany it and give it an exceptional depth and maturity (myrrh, opoconaco and cinnamon) which are not protagonists nor are they felt individually but together with the vanilla with the orange flowers create a very pleasant fragrance and although it has points in common with many other things, it is not similar to anything that is in trend right now, the ginger gives an effusive touch to the dry down and a small touch of cypriol the woody touch but away from the facet of the Oud. Nomade Nuit by Egypt is a fragrance that, although I admit, falls short of what we expected from its name (maybe a little more smoky or balsamic is missing) but it is not on a safe release, I like it because it is well made and who knows how to appreciate a fragrance well achieved, you cannot let it pass.

Absolutely gorgeous spiced yellow floral (at least, for my nose this one starts yellow, then dries to a white floral). This one reminds me of a spicier version of Lancome's Poeme. Nuit is easily a new favorite-- but I'm truly saddened at it's poor longevity, as I want to smell it for hours. Paired with its intimate projection, I find Nuit is undetectable after an hour or so. In spite of these shortcomings, I would actually still recommend this one to someone who's new to spice notes and is interested in exploring them. Considerably a perfect introductory fragrance. Also an exquisite opening. So far, I've only worn this in the evening, but it definitely has a well-rounded profile that is seemingly compatible with every season. I'm also in love with how well this one works in humid weather. It's surprisingly refreshing for all its ginger, myrrh and kyphi. I have to try very hard, but on the dry-down I do get the faintest soapy impression from the citrus. I'm honestly surprised there's vanilla in here-- even as one of the base notes, I wouldn't have guessed it at all with this one. When it is worn, I've had others tell me almost instantly that I smell very good. That said, they had to be right next to me to be able to smell it. If you're looking for a long-lasting bombshell, Nuit will likely not impress you. But if you're into quieter fragrances that aren't overly sweet or spicy, this one is perfection.

This is a beautiful perfume and I immediately got a full bottle after testing it for a few days. It starts with a fresh flush of ginger, hint of cinnamon and then seamlessly melts into a vibrant orange blossom. Closely followed by broom, that has a Jasmin like character. After a few hours of floral delight, Kyphy and Oppoponax appear as a solid pair of lightly smokey duo to complete a beautiful fragrance. I am wearing this scent in searing heat and considering it's an Hommage to Egyptian night, I feel like I'm doing this creation justice. Imho it is a very versatile perfume. Unisex to my nose. Easy to layer. When I needed some oomph at night, I layer it with Divine Vanille by Essential Parfums. This ads more depth with intense Myrre and a smokey vanilla. My coworkers loved it on me (nurse here) and I love the incensey, creamy vanilla at the base with the resinous Kyphy, that gives a special sprinkle on top. To my nose this Flanker has little to nothing to do with the originals. Which I like! In the previous Flankers there was oakmoss, that I detest in most fragrances, because it feels very dated to me. This one here is nothing short of beautiful. Crowd pleasing, yet still memorable at the same time due to Kyphi and Broom. I know some who love the entire line will be disappointed, but everyone who hated the line might love this. Like I do! This is going to be my fall/ winter fragrance for sure.

I just bought Nomade Nuit d’Egypte as a fun thing, a blind purchase and probably didn’t think it was my thing at all. How WRONG was I! <3 It has become my absolute favorite perfume, my signature and the scent in which I could voluntarily drown! I wear it day and night and I can rarely resist an extra shower before going to bed so my first bottle is already gone and I just bought a new one in the largest size. So: What does it smell like? A warm, sensual scent of orange and "tropical" dark vanilla with just the right spicy base note and a hint of muscovado sugar. A grown-up and “sexy” scent, but without being the least bit overt or vulgar, nor the least clingy nor to sweet. It makes me think of hot velvety black nights with tempting subtle sweet floral scents coming in from the open windows. Spanish nights, pirate romance, and Bridgerton heat in an irresistible and tempting mix! <3 The ONLY thing I wish was that the scent didn't evaporate as quickly as I feel it actually does on my skin, that's its only fault! :-/ I'm terrified that it will be removed from the range so I'll probably have to stock up on bottles so that there's enough for my future use! I highly recommend it! <3

Quite sweet, quite ambery, deliciously citric and white floral. Reminds me of early 2010s perfumes. There is a memory I have tied to this scent, and a good one at that. I wonder what is it? Reminds me of one of my sister's cool friends, the times of watching Buffy the Vampire slayer 🦇 and of Cosmopolitan magazines. It makes me wanna dress up and get my ducks in order, but in an late 2000s way. I also get bubblegum. 🧋 It doesn't smell expensive or last very long, but it is a fun blast from the past and makes me wanna get out of bed and live a life where "fetch" is gonna happen & I'm a Pretty Little Liars co-star. Makes me feel young. 🌱

Wow!! Just wow! I tried this and it blew my mind! I wasnt even eager to try it as I dont really found any nomade to like a lot before. But today i picked it up and smell the cap, and it was almost intoxicating, i rarely get that from smelling caps. I had to spray on my arm and it was sooo good. All the way back home, a 45 minute drive, I couldn stop smell my arm, and it created this nice comforting scent bubble around me in the car. Not to strong but not weak either. The orange blossom is there for sure, thats the main star, with some sweetness i guess from vanilla. It does not smell very vanillary though, but it does have a sweet side to it. The spicy notes are not spicy in any way, but probably create some depth and warmth, but I cant pinpoint any of the spicy notes at all. I regret not buying it, but will for sure grab it next time! Hard to describe, but easy to love!

Chloé Nuit d’Égypte feels like dusk settling over warm stone. Not the postcard Egypt, but the quiet hour when the city exhales and the air turns intimate. It opens soft and resinous rather than sharp — a gentle warmth that feels almost skin-like. There’s a subtle sweetness, never sugary, wrapped in something earthy and ancient, as if incense has been carried on evening air. As it develops, the scent becomes smoother and more enveloping, with a comforting depth that feels elegant rather than heavy. This isn’t a loud or obvious fragrance. It wears close, like a whispered memory, refined and introspective. Feminine without being delicate, mysterious without trying too hard. It feels grown, calm, and quietly confident. Nuit d’Égypte is less about making an entrance and more about being remembered after you’ve gone.

I was at the Brisbane domestic airport today, in the Virgin longue. I could smell this beautiful scent but I couldn't pin it down to one woman. As luck would have it, I followed the wearer out. YES! So I didn't waste a moment and asked her what fragrance she was wearing, and she gave me the 3 ml.decant she had in her handbag. She was so kind and i was so appreciative. I can't wait to test it out. It's a beautiful DNA and it smells gorgeous in the air. To the lovely woman who gave me her decant, if you ever see this, thank you so very much. For any orange blossom lover, i think you need.to try it. Its not fresh, its syrupy and definitely "perfumey". I get a lot of the myrrh and it is reminiscent of JPG Classique. I would wear this in cccoler temperatures. It might be too cloying in high heat.

What a beautiful blended myrrh mixed with vanilla, cinnamon, opoponax, orange blossom and broom flower. Chloe Nomade Nuit d’Egypte smells like a warm, soft, cozy, enveloping scent that’s made for fall or early spring days when the weather is still cold but not too cold. Because unfortunately, as beautiful and smooth as it is, it’s not a very intense or good projecting scent. And for that reason I would not get a bottle of Nuit d’Egypte until it becomes more reasonably priced because it is kind of lacking in performance. And it’s expensive. Otherwise, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, who’s looking for a creamy, ambery, sweet, resinous, balsamic vanilla heavy perfume with white florals and citrus nuances for cooler seasons. It’s beautifully done..

I’m surprised people don’t find this to be different. I’ve owned a lot of perfumes, and nothing I’ve ever had smells anything like this. It’s stunning, and it’s one of those perfumes that are so well blended that I don’t really know what I’m smelling. This doesn’t smell anything like the original Nomad, which I also enjoy, but I like this better. This somehow smells like Egyptian nights near the Nile. It sort of smells like jasmine, but not how we typically smell it in perfumes. There’s something interesting in here. I get a raw mastic/myrrh incense smell before it’s been burned, like you’re smelling it in the jar. I’m obsessed I find that Chloe always knows how to blend florals very well and I can totally see this being a signature for me.

This is such a lovely fragrance, but I found myself wanting just a little more from the cinnamon note. If it had been richer and more pronounced, I think it would have elevated the composition and given it a more distinctive identity. Although I understand the comparisons to Poême, I personally find it sits closer to fragrances like Alien Goddess and Olympea Solar—sunny, radiant florals with an effortless, easy-going appeal. It's smooth, inoffensive and incredibly versatile, making it a fragrance that feels appropriate in virtually any season or setting. It's the kind of scent you can reach for without a second thought, knowing it will always smell fresh, feminine and beautifully put together.

I enjoy this scent very much. I sprayed it on my jacket and could still smell it the next day when putting it on. I also smelled it on my skin for more than 14+ hours although I admit I sprayed probably 6-8 sprays before leaving the house. I tried the original Nomade and liked that one well enough but I LOVE this version. I think my nose is broken because I don't smell the individual components like many others can. I do get a spiciness that cuts through the florals but nowhere near the way it does in the original Nomade. Definitely one I will be reaching for over and over this spring.

I’ve been collecting fragrances for around 25 years, and it’s not often anymore that I find something unique to my nose, but this is different to everything else in my collection. It reminds me of Arabian markets and a soft incense that is not cloying, but gently blended with vanilla and warm spices, and blossoms floating on the breeze. I am very pleased with this beauty, she’s making me want to leave England behind and for warm, romantic Egyptian nights with the love of my life. I own this fragrance and Nomade Absolu, and I like this line a lot. I look forward to trying the others.

Sweet and spicy. A good blend of white and yellow florals. I get a light and syrupy sweetness and a warm balsamic tone. I can really feel the spices on my nose and tongue. Not too heavy, I think it would be appropriate for day or night. Fall through spring. Probably to sweet for very hot weather. I think it fits the Nomade line perfectly. Its very different than the others but still has that kinda upscale traveling hippie vibe of Nomade. It's like smelling night blooming flowers on the breeze on a balmy night in some exotic location. I'm happy to have it in my collection.

Nomade une Nuit d'Egypte is its own unique experience, do not expect it to be too similar to the original Nomade. It's a spicy orange with a warm, not overly synthetic amber base. Cinnamon in the opening along with the juicy orange, and amber and myrrh in the drydown - just not getting too much of the white floral. I have a thing for anything orange/neroli/petitgrain, plus I love the smell of myrrh, so this was a love at first sniff. Exactly what I would imagine, if someone said they had captured the essence of Egypt in a perfume, it plays into the fantasy so well.

I love going to the store and smelling lots of different perfumes, but I am quite fussy with scents. This is honestly the MOST beautiful perfume that I have ever smelled. It is suchhhh a warm and pretty smell like a room of incense. I don’t normally leave reviews but this perfume is gorgeous it is rare to find a scent like it. I liked decadence Marc Jacobs and nigritella by bodyshop before those were discontinued which kind of had a warm oriental spice smell to them. But this is honestly the nicest I have found that smells warm and cosy but is still so feminine 🙂

This fragrance has become one of my favorites, the opening notes almost combine with the mid notes initially and i can instantly smell the orange blossom which is smooth not sharp. The Kyphi is what does it for me being that it is warming and spicy yet not too heavy, pairing this with the vanilla is perfection. It will be perfect for those summer evenings snuggled in a blanket watching the night sky with a glass of Malbec. It smells different to any other current fragrance on the high street which I like as many are just flankers of their former self.

As an egyptian lady i knew i gonna like it, not only based on its name but for its notes espesially the Kyphi. I have this kinda habit when i travel, i buy a new fragrance from the dutyfree and using it during my trip to be engaged to my memories. So Nuit d'egypte is the title of my last work trip to Paris and it was glamorus during the spring cold rainy weather. Outfit: Black or grey wool coat wz black leather boots- additional touch smocky eyes+ rose lipstick Longetivity: 6 to 8 hours on my skin Not a beast but it's really shopisticated & unique...

I was surpised by this, I thought it would smell middle easterny + orange blossomy (which i tolerate very badly) but it doesn't! Its very gentle, rich and not overpowering, and I really don't know how to explain it, the notes are confusing and mysterious to me but I can tell one thing. THIS IS ADDICTING! the type where you keep smelling yourself addicting and wondering what is this? And why does it smell so good? I can imagine wearing it on for night time occasionally, when its not too hot out. I just love it and It smells so original and rich

This is beyond gorgeous and has exceeded my expectations. So pretty I could cry. Wow. It's a sweet orange blossom + vanilla. But not overly sweet or cloying. The other notes keep this feeling modern and wearable and just unique enough for it to stand out. It's just beautifully blended. I wouldn't have guessed cinnamon from smelling it but myrrh, ginger, broom are making this special. I thought with it being a Chloe fragrance that it would be generic and boring. Oh not at all!! Amouage who? PDM who?? THIS is beautiful! Get you some!

I received a sample of it, and I fell in love with it. So unique and unexpected. Smells like nothing I have smelled before. So imagine it with me... You are sitting on the dunes of sand under the freezing desert night, over you there is nothing but stars, under you only warm sand, and summer breeze brings distant scent of jasmine and papyrus to your nose, and you feel chilly and wrap your cashmere shawl around your shoulders to warm up. That’s how this perfume smells like. Embrace of the cashmere, under the desert night.

On my skin this perfume is at first whiff almost citrusy, then spicy and finally settles as a warm, spicy vanilla. I can understand those who says it reminds them of Libre. I actually thought of Libre Intense when I first smelled it on a paper strip. Not alike, but similar vibe. It has relatively good longevity. It is very nice during cold and winter. Have not tested in warm weather. Opinion so far: well made and beautiful. If you enjoy the likes of Eilish I believe you may enjoy Nomade Nuit d’Egypte as well.

I got this for under $50 at one of the usual online resellers. Almost soapy, then you catch the warm spices and an almost nutty accord from the resins. The orange blossom stands out the most, and many hours later it’s close to the skin and smells akin to the late dry down of Love Don’t Be Shy. The push-pull of warm yet soapy is utterly intriguing yet comforting. It fits beautifully with these late summer days, where it’s cool in the morning and hot in the late afternoon. All in all, I’m obsessed!

This scent is like a grown up version of Paco Rabanne’s Olympéa. Even if the notes on both of them aren’t exactly similar, that’s what it reminds me of. Cinnamon, orange blossom and vanilla are the most prominent notes to me in this fragrance. I wish this lasted longer on skin, it does stick to fabrics quite well. All things considered, this is a lovely fragrance and I will be purchasing a full bottle of it, it’s price point is fair for what it is.

Oh, goodness! A new signature scent! A perfect blend of orange blossom, broom honey, and resins. I keep sniffing my skin, completely enamoured. It's so warm and embracing with the perfect amount of sweetness (I strongly dislike gourmands, so not too much sweetness for me, please). It takes me on a beautiful journey to a faraway warm and exotic land, probably Egypt :). At dusk. Not since the launch of Poême have I felt this connected to a scent.

If only they had named this Myrrhe d'Égypte. Myrrh is the soul of this fragrance, sprinkled with cinnamon and sweetened by vanilla. I am very surprised to not see dates listed. It makes me think of golden dunes, sunlight reflected on the Nile, Cleopatra's last moments as she held the adder to her chest. Α scent that carries the history of thousand-year empires and the queens who watched them rise and fall.

it would make a really nice winter perfume. both spicy and sweet. i love the exotic character of this one and having a hard time choosing between the naturelle and this. i don't agree with the comments that say it has nothing to do with the nomade family. the "nomade" family... they better be different from each other. every one of them belongs to a different story under the sun.

this one is just gorgeous. i tried a mini size and fell in love instantly to the point i immediately ordered a full-size bottle. i definitely prefer la nuit over naturelle. i’m currently having a falling out with overly sweet vanillas, so this one is just perfect. i feel like this could be very versatile but i think i’m gonna save it for night out or special occasions.

I smelled this at Pearson duty-free and had to have it. It's unlike the original Nomade, it actually bears almost zero similarity. This is much more JPG Classique, PDM Safanad territory. Not as rich as true 90's Classique (few things are), but heftier than Safanad. Maybe a little Poeme in there too. Anyway, a LOVE. Lasts fairly long as well, probably six hours easy.

I sampled this at a perfumery and couldn't get it out of my mind for two months, so I bought a big bottle. It's a beautiful, unique fragrance, warm orange blossom, with a scent profile I have never smelled before, right up my alley. It doesn't remind a whole lot of the OG, but I far prefer this one. It dries down into the most delicious vanilla after about 12 hours

There is oriental vibe here. I feel it. That makes it slightly more mature and deep. I like it. It reminds original Nomade BUT warmer, less fresh, but more sweet...like you would add something warm and cozy like drop of Shalimar or Samsara of Guerlain. I would compare this scent with some classic Guerlain fragrances bec it has also slight retro vibe and deepness.

This is quite similar to SJP Stash Unspoken. I own the two and smelled them side by side and they are not far off, obviously Nomade being more refined and better quality than the two. If you are on a budget then go for SJP stash unspoken, and if you have the coin then girl go get yourself a Nomade. For me I would wear this all year round, day and night.

A warm & slightly mysterious orange blossom scent. Golden, viscous & hazy. It’s a beautiful perfume that radiates & blooms off the warmth of your skin. Perfect balance of sweet & spicy. I think that if you enjoy Libre Le Parfum, you will like this one as well. I am not saying they smell the same, but they smell like they’re in the same family.

This is really nice, I’m getting jasmine not listed and orange blossom and it’s quite citrus, it reminds me a bit of Libre, it’s really pretty and a lovely spring summer scent in my option. It’s quite unique. My fave is the Nomade Natural so far.. this one is unique and a good release, lasts a long time and has good strength.

To me Nuit d’Egypte is basically vanilla & orange flower with a sweet-balsamic backbone. Ginger, myrrh, cinnamon and everything is so well-blended and balanced that the fragrance shines in its dry-down. The performance is excellent, on me it lasts all day...and if I were to mention a vague similarity, I’d say Voce Viva.

Very lush, beautifully constructed fragrance. Thank you to the perfumer for not relying on synthetic musks like so many do today. One or two sprays is enough to fill a room. I get resinous orange blossom and honey. My bottle has become a dark amber color and the resins are more prominent now. It’s a stunner!

WHOEVER COMMENTED THAT IT SMELLS LIKE A BETTER, CLASSIER VERSION OF PR OLYMPEA WAS SPOT ON! I couldn’t put my finger on it, but it reminded me of an og I used to wear and I love it! In my opinion, it’s less powdery and sexier. If you love sweet/gourmand scents it’s great. Chloe always does it for me

@simona9898 It might get better. I recently bought a designer scent that wouldn't last 5 minutes, even on clothing. I didn't have much hope, but I put it back in the box and put it under my bed. I pulled it out yesterday and its getting way better. Don't give up on it yet, give it some time.

The things this is being voted as similar to... 🤐 Wha...? 🫠 For me it smells like GOOD FORTUNE by V&R in the opening. A touch richer and with a phantom bubblegum note. Dries down to something raaather similar to BLACK DATURA by Miller Harris. Slightly earthy. I prefer the base.

The best Nomade so far. Very feminine and quite fresh. Perfect for the signature scent. I mainly smell ginger, orange blossom and vanilla. I wish this was a little more spicy, or have some depth. Still it's a beautiful scent, perfect for a gift. Safe for a blind buy as well.

A very sweet, rich, and enveloping scent. It instantly transports you to Egypt, surrounding you with mesmerizing notes that intoxicate the mind and awaken desire. You’ll need to reapply it more often, but it’s not designed for long occasions — it truly shines on dates.

I really like this. Lightly vanilla with spice and floral. Easy to wear. It’s not the most powerful but I’m a notorious over sprayer so works for me . I just happened to be testing F&R. Hwy 190, the combo is incredible. That’s a happy little accident. Overall 9/10

I imagine this is how an Egyptian queen would have smelled like after a bath. It’s a well-balanced scent: clean, yet spicy and sweet. I got this recently and have been wearing it every single day instead of my usuals because I’m so obsessed with it!

I find this very enjoyable to wear. It's creamy, sweet, spicy...super cozy yet arid that invokes a middle eastern desert. I reach for this often when I want a warm, calming fragrance. Truly an on-the-down-low masterpiece.

Finally a new designer release that seems to be more well thought and complex as far as the notes goes. I love Chloe Nomade Naturelle and I am really looking forward to trying this Nomade Nuit d’Egypte!

This is very nice, very safe for a blind buy, pleasant and little addictive, but still "office safe" and clean, soapy... I wouldn't recommend reading just notes, they are quite misleading in this case.
