Papyrus

I was on the verge of purchasing Herb Mimosa, driven by my adoration for mimosa scents. HOWEVER, upon experiencing the aroma of Papyrus, I felt compelled to add it to my collection as well, even though it's quite pricey here. The salespersons then informed me of a fantastic promotion: buying the 150ml size would grant me a complimentary 50ml size. Intrigued, I proceeded to sample all the fragrances in the Atelier line, yet I found myself perplexed. Herb Mimosa and Papyrus didn't blend harmoniously due to the subtle nature of mimosa, and I was close to abandoning the idea of purchasing Papyrus. However, my perspective shifted when I attempted to layer it with Tuberoise 1974. The result was utterly breathtaking - a wonderful, sexy, mature, and unique aroma that captured my senses. Papyrus alone emanates a distinctive smoky, woody, and green scent, yet when it's combined with the potent fragrance of Tuberoise, the result is truly remarkable. The longevity becomes notably extended, and I found myself deeply enamored with this combination. Consequently, I chose to purchase the 150ml Tuberoise and obtain the 50ml Papyrus for free. (Although I still harbor a wish to acquire Herb Mimosa later 🥲)

It is a little bit smoky, kind of amber-y and woody. It gives warmth and depth to other floral fragrances when layered. It’s great for layering, I don’t like it that much on its own. But then - do I need such an expensive bottle for layering only?

This smells of uncomplicated and highly sophisticated fresh-woody perfume leaning toward masculine but women (with the right) personality can definitely pull this off. This is also good for layering. I'm keeping this gem!

Wear this when off the mood and feeling shrunken down to the pits - it will surely light your aura up!

Love it, a very green beautiful note

Testing my sample; feels like sinking into a haze of smoky and woody green, feels rich but fresh at the same time, like sticking your face in the leaves. There's a hint of something leathery as it dries down on the skin. Works well in the heat surprisingly enough, I was expecting it to be heavier and more suited for the cold, but that's not the case. Lasted around 4 hours on my skin, projects within the first hour before settling down.

This one smells super chill and relaxing . I usually wear it to my pilates classes. It’s got this soft papyrus vibe mixed with a touch of fresh green notes, really clean and refreshing. The scent is pretty simple, not too complex, but in a good way. Longevity and projection are decent, around 5 hours on me. Overall, it’s a great pick for workouts or any kind of active day.

This one is elegance in a shadowy green cloak. Earthy, mossy, almost ancient feeling ... like stepping into a quiet, sun-dappled forest after rain. It’s deep, meditative, and powerful without being loud. Definitely not your flirty floral... this is the scent of introspection and mystery. I find it grounding. I am looking for that new book scent and so far Chloe's Papyrus is close, but bright and fresh compare to the scent of books. Love it in first sniff, but after a few months, my nose grew to dislike it. Lack of warmth and depth on this scent. Probably it is unique and bright fresh.

Love at the first sniff. I was about to buy Magnolia alba from Chloe and as i waited for the assistant to find the bottle, I sniffed Chloe Papyrus. And instantly I fell in love. Like nothing I have smelled before. This scent is so unique. Smoky soft. Could not put my finger on what I'am smelling, but I did not want to part with it, there on the spot I bought the big bottle of it and only small one of the Magnolia. :) My parter loves it too to the point he stuck his nose to the bottle opener and just sits with it on his nose:) Honestly the most beautiful parfume out there. Fresh yet smoky. Gorgeous.

Ok..this atelier des fleurs collection has me intrigued. This one immediately got my attention while reading on the new Chloe Rose Naturelle Intense on here, and I really like how they isolate and focus on more singular notes and accords to make it so you can layer all the fragrances they offer in the line more precisely. You can also appreciate each note and material more purely I imagine. I love green, woody, smoky scents and this Papyrus even boast a leather facet I’m seeing? On the list ✅
