Mon Ami Choix by Gritti is a gorgeous, clean, and creamy scent that manages to stay light without feeling heavy. It perfectly balances green amber with citrus and musky undertones on my skin, creating a fresh yet warm aroma that I absolutely love. The creamy sandalwood adds a sexy, velveteen richness, and smooth depth, enhanced by notes of coconut, fig, and monoi, resulting in an incredibly refined and comforting blend. It has a subtle sweetness and almost lactonic quality that makes it feel cozy and safe as if everything will be all right when you're wearing it. Leaning toward the unisex spectrum, I can see myself reaching for this perfume year-round. It’s fresh and clean enough for warmer months but still performs beautifully in winter with its soft warmth. The longevity is impressive—it lasts all day on the skin with solid projection for 4-5 hours and remains on clothes until washed. I was reading the notes, and I couldn't figure it out this fragrance. I visited Gritti's website, and everything now makes sense regarding the fragrance I am smelling. Olfactory Pyramid HEAD: Green accord, Lemon blossom, Monoi. Heart: Fig, Coconut, Sea breeze. Base: Tonka beans, Musk, Sandalwood.

Fig, coconut, and sandalwood are three notes that are wonderful together and this fragrance presents them beautifully. This has some kind of aroma chemical that allows it to have amazing projection and to last at least 24 hours but it’s not heavy at all...it’s actually quite airy. Totally successful blind buy. EDIT: this stuff is nuclear. I sprayed it twice a week ago and I can still smell it when I walk in my bedroom.

Totally unisex but I would like to smell this on a man. Great fragrance, hard to dislike. Luxury sandalwood. Considered it for layering but my personal taste on myself is v feminine. Signature scent worthy. Performs less in the heat. Considered for layering and wouldn’t mind owning this.

I loveee this scent! It reminds me of Cow by Zoologist, which I own and love!! I don’t think it projects much, but I don’t care. It’s a comfy everyday scent, not invasive at all, safe for every environment! I adore it! Gonna upgrade to a full bottle.

If you love the fig / sandalwood DNA, this is beautiful and refined. Fresh, yet a unique coziness, and lasts long! I showered and could still smell it. Although it is higher priced, I do believe this is an extrait.

Those who like milky, woody, but softly sweet perfumes must test this. Not my type at all, but this is gorgeous for sandalwood, coconut, fig lovers. Tried it in the hot weather. The coconut is prominent all the time, don't feel any sweetness, just woody and a bit spicy. Stays close to my skin. Not my type of fragrance but I will give it another chance in colder weather.

The coconut in here is funny smelling to my nose - either its my skin chemistry or I've smelled too many fragrance samples in too short a time, or its the fragrance being weird. I don't get sandalwood, I get sour coconut. I don't get warm, I am getting confusion and curiosity, like "what is that?!". I had high hopes for this one as the reviews are good but I don't know what the heck it smells like on my skin... I just know I dislike what it's doing. I'll revisit it in a few days and maybe I'll feel differently. Edit 4/2/25 - I tried it from the sample twice more, and its not for me. The coconut is too toasted and the whole thing isn't bright enough. I ended up liking it at the end more than the first sniff, but still very toasted coconut which isn't what I want. Too bad too, because the bottle is beautiful!

Beautiful fragrance. It reminded me of Santal blanc by VCA, but it’s different enough to own both especially for a sandalwood lover like myself, plus the performance on this is much better than Santal blanc. It has great performance actually. Keeping in mind I overspray, but I had this on for 5 hours before going to my hair appointment. It wasn’t projecting as much as it was for the first 4 hours or so I thought because I got a couple compliments from some ladies at the salon and after I had left and went back outside to my car I could smell it in the air around me and somehow it must have gotten on my shower curtain because I can smell it in there too where I sprayed it earlier that day. It’s a silent beast. You might think it’s gone but it’s not and it’s never overbearing even when you overspray but it will definitely get you noticed. Lasts all day on the skin with good projection for at least 4-5 hours and on clothes... forever! It’s the next day and I can smell it from my hamper. It has that sexy creamy sandalwood in it that I love so much, paired with some coconut, fig and the amber making for such a smooth blend. Definitely musky as well, especially in the dry down but not an overbearing musk. I have to make that clear because some musks to me are just way too much but this is just right. This was a great blind buy for me! I’d say if you like Santal blanc there is a high probability that you’d like this one too.

Heaven!!!! I am not sure who gave this perfume rating, but these people should check their senses. First of all this perfume is a beast mode for sure, and by that I mean you will feel this after you shower, after couple o days on your clothing and it will still radiate the scent perfectly. The quality here is amazing! As a comment below mentioned you might even be good with one spray throughout the day. Can you imagine that? Well, that happens not very often from my experience. So 10/10 on longevity, sillage, and projection. PERFECTION! This smell... this smell to me is just something not from this planet. It's opulent so full and rich, no harsh notes, no piercing notes - everything is just in such a perfect harmony and balance. The main player here is for sure sandalwood but the coconut and fig compliment this woody note so perfectly - it is a bit sweet, and almost feels like a lactonic scent. It's very comforting, everything seems to be all right when you wear this perfume. I call this kind of category perfumes 'zen' perfumes in my head. It is a perfect perfume to incarnate the word 'wellbeing'. Very calming, enveloping, surrounding, and caressing scent! Perfectly unisex! I think the quality justifies the price for sure. I am so in love with this perfume, this is totally on my fbw list!

Cruise vacation vibes, cool skin right after the pool and an ultra-creamy coconut-scented sunscreen lingering on the skin. The composition isn’t overly dense, which works really well in warm climates, though personally I wish it were a bit lighter, with more of a breezy feel to balance out the creaminess.
