Why didn't I buy this sooner?! Asphalt and leather is definitely accurate! The asphalt in particular is VERY accurate, but this isn't at all unpleasant! In fact, the girlfriend smelled this one and said "Wow that smells nice!" - but in an intriguing sort of way, with a very surprised look on her face and wide eyes. Thanks to the violet, the sweet asphalt notes almost have a deep fruitiness to them, like the blueberry notes in Jay Z Gold, but less fruity, more industrial. This also has a nice spicy cardamom that I don't see listed in the notes here. The spice fades a bit quicker than you'd expect, leaving the asphalt and leather dancing under sweetness on your skin. It smells sweet and playful on the skin from up close, and intriguingly like pleasant asphalt from afar. This does things for me that Dior Fahrenheit did, but without the rubbery-leather. This is more like sweetened-asphalt-leather, and a different leather note at that. With all the Fahrenheit and Mugler A*Men fans out there, I'm really surprised this isn't more popular! This smells nothing like either of them, but it accomplishes the same sort of goal, equally as well as they did. Performance reviews have been a mixed bag, but for me personally, this scent lasts and projects quite well. I get pretty much all day performance from my bottle with perfect projection. After 8 or 9 hours, I can still smell it under the neck of my shirt, and the far drydown is agreeable with many other scents that I may choose to wear at night after wearing this during the day. I'm really enjoying the quality of scents so far from Chopard! My first was Oud Malaki, which smells amazing as well. Quality definitely seems to be on-par with other more expensive brands! For that reason, I don't think I'll sneeze at the price the next time I consider a Chopard fragrance. I really love the heavy solid metal caps they use as well!

This is an underrated gem. The first time I applied this, this reminded me of my younger days when I used to work on vehicles and have fantasies of owning a very fast car driving down the countryside in a convertible. You let the wind hit your face and smell open road as you drive past road workers paving the road. This has a tar/asphalt accord that makes it quite unique. It's something I have never smelled before in a fragrance along with some leather, grass, lavender, citrus, coffee, and iris accords. It is well-blended. The leather accord on this quite good. It reminds me of the cigar lounges I hang out in with its big leather seats and couches. This is definitely a masculine scent just because you get that tar/ asphalt accord. I wouldn't want my wife to wear this. I got a couple of compliments primarily from women with this scent because it is so unique. I would use this as a signature scent honestly. I would wear this for fall, winter, and spring. Spray liberally. You can use it for the summer but apply less of it because the tar/asphalt accord might be too cloying. It really shines in cooler weather. Day or night. Suit and tie. Business casual. Polo shirt with jeans or shorts.

If you liked the idea of a tar note in Mugler Amen but ended up hating the sickeningly sweet caramel overtones, then try this! This stuff is very creative and artistically inspired. It's also only $16 for a 2.7 oz bottle on GiftExpress right now, and you absolutely can't beat that. Idk why this isn't more popular, or how it's priced so low. It used to be very expensive!

I discovered this at a bargain price of under £20. The packaging is excellent - heavy glass, with metal and rubber stopper. The Armani Code similarity is clear, but less sweet and more masculine. The opening lavender and juniper berry is wonderful. Excellent longevity and good projection. A classy fragrance which at current prices is a no brainer!

My husband wore this often and I ended up buying him more of it because I liked it so much I had to make sure he wore it more often and had backup 😆 very sexy smell during dry down with his skin is intoxicating!!! At first it’s almost pure citrus and fresh. Highly recommend scent .

This is a mix between fahrenheit and mercedes intense, tho they do not smell anything alike they share some similarities, so if you like those two you might like this one as well, i am very pleased with it as it was rather cheap too.

Vraiment fan du premier coup. Belle ouverture douce, énormément de caractère avec une très bonne tenue. Le petit plus est la note d'asphalte (très décente) qui sort ce parfum du lot. Une réussite totale.

Found a part bottle on EBay for a blind buy. I couldn't work out how these notes would work but they do brilliantly. It is so hard to describe how these notes work so well, they just do.

This one is a stunner, I really like the combination of fresh & sweet. It smells very masculine, sporty and upscale. A great long lasting scent in a great looking bottle.

Don't buy Armani Code Parfum, get this for a fraction of the price, it's better! It's not exquisite perfume, but for the genre it's well executed and inoffensive.

Hi folks, I received my BLIND BUY bottle of 1000 Miglia earlier today, I LIKE it! Firstly it is a very nice scent.To my nose it reminds of JOOP WILD:sweet,long lasting.Nothing jarring or unpleasant about it to me.I wish this was around in my 30's I would have LOVED IT! That brings me to another aspect of this fragrance,it is a more youthful scent which is not a bad thing at all,I just wasn't expecting that aspect of it's personality! It is Joopish in its sweetness,playful and enticing. I was just hoping for a more rugged leathery/woodsy smell. If I already didn't have Wild Homme in my collection I might like it a little more,I just hate having two frags that are so similar in scent even if the scent is a good one! My baggage...other reviews can tell you better of what smells stand out,for me it is masculine,sweet,a playboy or jet-set kid kind of scent. Glad I do own it I'm sure I will wear it plenty and receive compliments when I do.I'm just sorry we found each other 20 years too late,this would have been my going to the club fragrance back in the day! I sprayed just one spritz on the back of my wrist over an hour+ ago it is still mighty! GO EASY with it would be my advice,it's too good to douse yourself in, if worn in excess I could see this going from "WHAT are wearing? :-)" to "WHY are you wearing that :-( "! The only Chopard fragrance I have known so far was Noble Cedar which I liked a lot. But this was a couple of years ago when I wasn't initiated into niche fragrances. It would be interesting to test Noble Cedar now, which I don't think is going to happen as it's been long discontinued. Anyway, Mille Miglia is absolutely of niche interest. I think a house such as Oliver and Co. (I mean a niche house that doesn't mind synthetics) could sell it as their own, as it is very original! The asphalt note - how does it sound? And yes, it is there! And it pleases, to my surprise. The lavender, the iris and the leather are also easily distinguishable to my nose. All in all a fine and interesting composition. The asphalt is the first to flee, so after an hour or so you get an elegant fragrance of the "pour homme" type, as if the bad boy from the racing car pulled off, took a shower and put on a suit to charm ladies at an evening event after the car race.

It's not "trying to be blue," it is blue but with a slight twist. That twist being the asphalt note. You might be thinking, why is that even a note in a fragrance...and how does it even smell...well, I can't quite explain the smell but when I smell the fragrance I totally get the asphalt and in a good way, not in a road paving way, lol. So it's blue with asphalt. Some of the other notes are non-existing, like coffee and leather I get zero. It's very violet forward, with the lavender and juniper berry in the opening. Asphalt is there at the beginning too and it dries down with violet, asphalt and woods. I don't make it sound blue but it is, with that slight twist. If you're into blues and want something a little different to break away from the blue norm, this is it. Oh, and yes it's masculine. I quite like it.

Well, it's definitely very close to Armani Code line, without enormous sweetness and vanilla. Lovely, decent and appealing. But! Though the scent is good and is worth its reviews and grades, sillage is absolutely non-existent. That is to say, yeah, the scent is good but you (and people around) will smell if only very close to your skin or clothes. And by "very close" I mean literally putting nose close to the place where perfume was spritzed. It stays as skin scent long enough, but nobody will be able to sniff it in normal circumstances. So yeah, the cheaper it is, the better - at least you can use it as toilet freshener at the end.

Open with bold lavender notes. Overall its sexy frag. Winter frag. I detects a lot of tanka beans notes or something smoky sweet (maybe coffee notes) Asplalt accords appears 2-3hrs. Overall on my skin 8+hrs. Smoky Aroma sweet with some spice . its a manly stuff. I love the scent. But hate in its cost.

Chopard 1000 miles, opening was really good. The citrus, leather, asphalt - everythings there. Very similar to Armani code but only in the initial 20~30 mins. After that, the dry down is about 90% similar to the Spanish - Nike - Man "The perfume" which I dislike very much due to a cheap room freshner feel to it. The opening and the dry down have no relation whatsoever. Yes the Bvlgari Black rubbery comparison can also be felt but only in the initial period. Projectivity and sillage are like beast mode and its just not fading away. Still love it for the first 30 mins. but hate it after that.

Well this was a very pleasant surprise. Opens with a fresh and clean smelling lavender and juniper berries, with a background of mild leather. The asphalt note could also have been called a mineral note, such as in Valentino Born in Roma. It smells like the bubble gum accord in Invictus. It's a welcome addition and gives the fragrance a fresh and modern facet. The dry down is woods, leather and fresh blue notes. A great find, a long lasting, quality blue fragrance at an unbelievably low price. Fantastic.

It's a sweet, nice aromatic EDT. It's performance is really good in longevity and projection. The dry down is the best bit with a tobacco/tonka smell. I didn't much care for this at first but after a few sprays, it seems to have grown in character and strength. As 4tlover said below, "the more you wear this, the more you appreciate it" A pleasant one from Chopard. This is a smooth, warm classy perfume with a nice dry down. It's a like from me

This is really cheap and flat you guys 🙁 It's trying to be blue, but smells like soap instead of shower gel. I saw all of these comments about the perfumer or the brand or whatever, but when I tested this in a store not knowing anything, I thought it's some cheap in-store brand. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, ever

What’s going on? Everyone says it’s good, but I only get about two hours and the scent is really weak. Is this a mist or something?

Bought this blind, thinking it would be nice. WHERE did I get the idea this was a high-quality fragrance? Was it the cursive writing on the bottle? The truth is it's scented plastic. SCENTED PLASTIC. The only GOOD things I can say is the scent isn't bad, but is blended with plastic. And the bottle is VERY nice. But since the juice ain't good, forget it!

This stuff instantly reminded me of something that I would wear in high school, so probably more appropriate for a teenager. In fact, I instantly thought of polo sport when I first sprayed this. The way the bottle is designed, I was really expecting to pick up asphalt and/or leather, but I got none of either. This is suuuuuuuuper designery in the worst way possible. I picked up Oud Malaki and was expecting another successful Chopard purchase, but this was a huge disappointment; big thumbs down.

1000 Miglia Chopard A decade old scent from the Chanel perfumer who inherited the genes from his Chanel Master dad. This was pretty popular back then. It's a decent fresh Armani Code parfum wannable from Chopard. Available for a good inexpensive price at resellers and discounters. However this is less sweet and woodier than Armani Code Parfum. Opens with a strong lavender and juniper berries and then comes the violet and green notes. Not too sure if I get the Asphalt but maybe it's the dirty smelling note that lingers in the scent, the coal/tar/just layed or repaired pavement road kinda smell. It comes up some 15-20 minutes after the opening together with the leather. By then it's less fresh as the lavender and berries opening fade away. I also didn't really get the coffee at the drydown. An ok scent that suits those who like this dna style and vibe

I never used a Chopard fragrance before so was very eager to own one...so bought this for $84 recently... I regret i did that !! Its obviously a good smelling thing but really not worth the expensive cost. I expected sumthing special but its not. Longevity etc. is very ordinary..And this is not the first time its happened with me. I buy sumthing after hearing a lot about it, only to be disappointed !! For heavens sake can someone please tell me which leading names are really worth the money ???? For eg. I loved Dior Savage wich i found quite unique and lasting. Moschino Forever Sailing is the strongest cologne ive tried so far and i just loved the constant whiff i got from it for upto 10 hrs after spraying !! Is there any cologne tat is so unique yet so lasting ????

1000 Miglia Chopard! When iu first saw this I thought, this must smell like rubber and asphalt! boy I was wrong. But in a surprisingly delightful way. The more you wear this, the more will you appreciate it. All i smell is delight! I can't say it's fantastic, but I can't stop wearing it. Scent: 8/10 I like can't say more Longevity: 8/10 on my skin 3 sprays last around 4 hours of projection and 6 hours of skin scent. Will I buy this again? maybe.

What a dissapointment, I've been waiting this cologne for a long time since the concept, the packaging, the brand and the perfumers are so awesome! but unfortunately to me it is very similar to Armani Code Ultimate after the opening, too spicy and heavy on tonka bean, quite offensive actually. If you want a good Chopard fragrance, check out Noble Cedar.

This is Polo Sport - 1994 Version I was expecting something closer to Armani Code....darker, leathery. Nope. This is green, kinda sweet, watery. Wow....I'm impressed. I thought I'd never be able to smell the 1994 version again, but this is pretty close and it performs too with average or better performance. 8.5/10

this smells really good, I don’t smell coffee at all and leather is weak here but that is not bad (coz i don’t like it) the dry down is so good like i smell violet and lavender. It is the same DNA as Armani code but it is not 100% the same

Opening fresh feel like just everyday classic fragrange but don't be fooled by this joke later suddenly enviroment become highway with gasoline smelling with "sweet" tickly feeling :)
