Brilliant Wish

To me, Brilliant Wish is in no way sheer or too light, I just think it was created to be more appropriate for the warm sunny weather. It is a lovely fragrance that would be best suited for Spring and Summer. It opens quite fruity and sweet-spicy thanks to pink pepper (love it!), its projection goes towards soft jasmine and ends on a calm woodsy base. Brilliant Wish is my little pet and I love to wear it to work - it cheers me up, it lifts up my mood and most importantly - it does not overpower. It is pleasant to the environment and I am glad I finally got myself a bottle. The peppery-fruity spiciness reminds me a bit of the first fragrance of Naomi Campbell. (very pleasant) For those of you who wonder whether or not to get a bottle, I would say if you are into pink pepper, jasmine and soft woods - it is the fragrance for you. I am honestly thinking of getting another bottle as it is quite a rare fragrance. (even though it has been launched last year) My both thumbs up!!! :-)

Perfect for going out on a first romantic date, you will be remembered as sweet and elegant. I see it to be worn, in summer at evening time. Jasmine and amber are both balanced sweet, pepper gives you a right kink. Sexy and elegant, for a women over 30+, who loves wearing silk and high heals, with good taste for luxuries. On my skin (40yo, moderately moisturized) it lasts about 3-4 hours. In daily life,im sporty, so it gives me a wright amount of femininity and sweetness, no smooth the corners of my character. And it`s definitely expensive scent.

Oh My God! I found a new love it seems! I had almost no hope for this since I can't stand Cashmere and the Original Wish...but oh how wrong I was! I bought a tester of this so it was less than 10 $ for 30 ml, and this is one of my biggest surprises lately. It's pretty, it's beautiful and round, it's feminine and is just so perfect. I use it in cold weather and I find it suits it very well. When on clothes and hair...and gets mixes with the cold air, you basically smell like a fairy. :) I'll sure make a review video on this fragrance asap.

Mmmm...love this one !!!! Remember me the alien essence absolue( not as similar with it ....but in another way l mean)... becouse the dominant amber and jasmine and this one is too strong like alien essence absolue is, but this one, is more sweety....very very sweet and the fruits are sooo dominant here !!! Very pleasant and warm in the spring summer evening ....A must have for amber-fruity lovers!!!! Long lasting power on me ...wow ....something that I like in a perfume and the sillage too, l can smell it on me all the time!!!!

A nice and light jasmine combination, very different than the original Wish, much more lighter.I must also say that the bottle is amazing. Although it's an eau de parfum, the sillage is poor. Suitable for day time, I wouldn't wear it for nights out.

Classy and expensive smell. It's sweet, but not girly sweet. It's a great refreshing scent for those winter days when you have had enough of the dark perfumes. Excellent and non-cloying for the summer months. Very nice to wear.

I like it I have been looking for a feminine powdery perfume for a while and I really like it

if you want to smell unique and different this is not the perfume for you, however if your priority is just smelling nice and fitting for your enviroment, this is the one for you. its feminine, elegant, and smooth. i find that you can wear it in most settings but it leans towards a day scent. personally for the price point it feels like a bargain because it smells more expensive than it actually is. this is one perfume you can blindly buy because it is basic yet good, has moderate longevity and sillage, smells floral, clean, and isnt offensive for others.

I have a bottle of this and the original wish. They are nothing alike to me! This is an easy, light wear for spring that smells like fruity shampoo and conditioner. Simple and elegant, not trying too hard or too cutting edge like some of the more modern scents. It also has a plastics smell, which isn't a bad thing, like dolls from childhood. Great price ($10) from chemist warehouse for a beautiful bottle full of good, not great, perfume.

Really like it actually. I don't like the original Wish - there is a note there that is headache inducing. And this is just lovely, elegant and the base is warm. Yes, as previous reviewers mentioned, it is light and does not last long, around 1-2 hours on my skin, but I absolutely love the bottle and bought this for less than EUR 20, so for that price I am willing to recommend.

Fruity, ambery, woody. I can definitely detect all the notes. It's more of a spring/fall fragrance. It gives more mature rich woman vibe for sure, but it's not heavy. I recommend if you're into ambery perfumes. It's not offensive and you can layer it easily with other fragrances. I don't like the original wish. They are nothing alike.

It is light, but not in a weak way. I sprayed it on several hours ago. It was and still is quite fruity and floral-y on me - I can't smell anything amber or woodsy on me, however I can sniffing the bottle itself. Definitely lighter than the original, but other than that I can't compare because I don't own it.

Summertime, card test Spice, clean, slight soap. Simpler spice then ck eternity, that’s clean spicey to me. A smidge of the old miss Dior before reformulstion in terms of gentle spice ... a bit dry, Chloe ish, but not dry or powder. It’s light in card after several hours. Skin test time

Sparkling, green, bright, fresh... Then... changes, becomes erasery, doll head, rounded, cool, wood plus white floral musk... has something in it which roberto cavalli has - the amber juice. Not what you think from the first spray.

It was a blind buy, and I don't love it. On me it's not fruity, nor citrusy, nor fresh at all. I can just smell amber and to me it is so generic. Nothing special.

This perfume smells much more expensive than it actually is. I think that's how an elegant woman would smell on a date. Absolutely beautiful and well-balanced.

I can't believe that noone noticed similarity between this one and Escada Magnetism-they are THE SAME!

This is your basic, safe, nondescript cheapie. Very minimal fruit notes for me, it's mostly all powdery musk and amber wearing a synthetic floral overcoat. Sillage is what I'd call safe; a little more than a skin scent, but it doesn't throw enough to be imposing. Safe for most work environments and casual settings. Ppl on the elevator or speaking to you at your desk will catch a whiff, but it won't come in the room ahead of you unless you drench in it. It's not distinct or memorable, just a generic perfume scent with that unfortunate rubbery quality you get from synthetic notes. It also leans quite mature imho. It's not horrible, but resoundingly "meh" 🤷. The bottle is a pretty concept, but the cap is very thin, cheap plastic. It looks like what it is, a cheap perfume trying to be elegant. There are better options in the same price range. This will make some bargain-hunting little lady very happy in my next yard sale.

I just received this as a gift, and I am trying to "decipher" how it behaves on me. On my skin, I got what I felt as a very short but intense gardenia opening (I guess that's the star jasmine). Right after it, I get a main accord combining a mix of herbs (the violet leaf, I guess?) with pink pepper and the woody notes. This first accord very slightly reminds me of Chloé Nomade and more of Cerutti 1881, and this first part is all good. It is airy, feminine, pleasant, inoffensive. At the dry down, the fruity notes and amber hit, giving a plasticky profile. All this happens within 20 minutes. Low projection, no sillage. I remember the original Wish from the late ’90s/early ’00s smelled like what sweet dreams and fairy tales were made of... Now I'm curious to check out its current version as well.

The opening is very peppery but in a nice way. After a few minutes all I can think of is "Oh my, this must be the female version of JPG Le Male" - I would swear I smell vanilla here although not listed. But I guess then it must be the mix of amber and woodsy notes that created such a similarity. Woodsy oriental, a bit warmer and very sensual, yet still office friendly. Suitable from autumn to spring. I would compare the fragrance character to Armani Lei. I can't believed this was discontinued. Shame on you, Chopard! Shame on you! Love list for sure.

It's a great budget amber/fruity/woody perfume. Nothing special, if you like this kind of perfume I'd save up for Cinema by YSL, the YSL one has more depth and longevity. On my skin it smells very basic/generic and it doesn't seem to have many layers but it's definitely not bad. A bit like pumpkin spice lattes and skinny jeans with booties, nothing really special and/or high class but everybody likes them, it's basic, solid, decent, comforting.

this is my go-to rich bitch perfume LMFAO it smells very expensive to me, and the bottle certainly helps with that

It's very ambery and woody. A warm scent if it makes sense. For winter and fall.

I wanted to love this so badly, based on the notes I should have! BUT I am so disappointed in this.. i blind bought this after reading the notes and the reviews, and thankfully I only bought a 30ml for a good price. At the first spray I got a hit of florals and florals only, was really quite fresh and nearly zesty- maybe it's the jasmine mixed with pepper, I wasnt a big fan, but I waited for the dry down and for the good stuff to shine through (the base notes😁) they never came through though. The more I waited the more disgusting the scent had become on my skin, to the point I thought I needed deodorant or something- I can't explain it, it started smelling just downright dirty, or like a bathroom freshener or something. Very unpleasant, my skin unfortunately did not work well with this.

After I sprayed on two heavy fragrances (Mauboussin and no4 by Jil Sander) I actually felt relieved with this one. It was light, yes, and for that moment I found light to be pleasant. But... With the minute it seemed to get sweeter and sweeter! And eventually it turned out into something that smelled exactely like fruit-flavoured chewing gum to me! Not the bubbalicious, but the tropical kind. And it made me sick. It smelled so... Gummy plastic. A shame, because I agree the bottle looks nice. Nothing brilliant in it though...

This is light and very citrusy to me. It didn't have anything of the original wish. Citrus is not my thing.

Artificial amber... Very cheap smelling. The original Wish is much better.

These are like a cheaper version of the Bvlgari idea. They are supposed to be like diamonds. One is the brilliant the other pink, blue etc. they are not going to be complex like Thierry Mugler Alien they are supposed to have a clear, crystal aspect as what the designer imagines the stone to smell like. People made the mistake with Indian Garnet from Bvlgari the limited edition orange stone. It was not supposed to smell spicy like Indian food or India it was supposed to be more a citrus flare for a stone that is orange. Ralph Lauren Rocks, people thought the word rocks meant it was going to be a strong edgy smell no, he meant rocks at the beach.

This was very woodsy in the top notes, so I was worried I wouldnt like it, as I dislike woodsy scents, but real fast it gets sweeter, and it is a refined scent, a bit cold, like most Chopard. Chopard is a brand that is hard to wear. I find their scents are big, and cold..Brilliant Wish is cold. Nothing in common with the sweet vanilla from the original.But in a way, this is a refined scent, mature, I kind of like it, it still has that woodsy undertone throughout, but in winter, this smells quite pleasant. I definitely do not get fruity notes either...

It is pretty often that I trust my very first impression which a perfume makes. So, on testing B.Wish I experienced some kind of brilliant excitement - no idea why,- but there was the association with the New Year, with something sharp and frosty,- an icicle, perhaps. Stylish? Definitely yes. Modern? Of course. Plain? No way. Sweet-smelling, bright-looking and reminds me of ringing bells. Feel like smelling this over and over again... At present I find myself wanting it on my little shelf. I wish I had one)

I am a fan of Louise Turner the nose behind this scent And again I am happy with her creation. it does remind me of Si Lolita I love the peppery pencil shavings notes but don't smell the fruit hardly at all. fine by me. update; the fruity scents are apparent when tried side by side with Si Lolita (by Lolita limpick) but both are firm favorites, bright peppery sunshine scents. Scent 8/10 Bottle 10/10 (oooh! sparkly)

Zingy peppercorns and soapy fruits, becomes powdery and musky as it dries on my skin, oddly rubbery. Not sure what note that is, but it's noticeable. Nice spring scent, lasts 5 hrs on my skin. Opening reminds me very much of Place Vendôme by Boucheron. Definitely not the same when they dry down.

Good office spring scent. Citrusy but not as sharp like d&g light blue. You can tell it's mixed with other fruits and it kind of has a soft finish which would be the woodsy and amber notes I guess. Like it not love it but perfect if you want something non offencive in a jealous making bottle!

Compared to Wish (apparently I have the reformulation; I actually wanted the original Wish due to what was said about it and Angel), I actually like Brilliant Wish. It’s not very interesting, but it’s nice. Inoffensive. Sometimes you don’t want the complex heavy hitters.

I had both the regular wish(which i love) and magical nights wish but i think this edition most be the prettiest..it looks more like a diamond because of its light color.I wonder if it will smell the same as the others?Cant wait to get my hands on it..

Very feminine perfume, imo is suitable for spring, summer and the early time of the autumn. It is likeable and elegant. It would be liked from ladies who are loving mon Guerlain (original) , duor dune and boucheron place vendome.

I've tested this one today and it's a nice fragrance. It starts out rather fresh and then it becomes sweeter. I think it's more bearable and wearable than the original Wish. The bottle is really beautiful.

Just not right with my body chemistry. It started off fresh and sparkly, a little soapy bc of the florals. Midway turned into an eraser/ band-aid rubber 🧐 and remained that way the rest of the time.

This is a beautiful, ambery white floral,very creamy and not headachy. I blind-bought a tester for low price and did not regret my purchase. It smells elegant, expensive, sophisticated.

Pretty, inoffensive perfume that would be suitable for the office. A peppery floral with a touch of green. Cheap blind buy for me but not my thing.

On me, it is a fresh fragrance with an intensive sweet and a bit powdery amber. It smells nice, but a bit dated and not really unique.

I've tested it too, but I will not be buying it. Its just loo light. Why are all the new perfumes soooo light? Action

Wish is a very lovely fraqrance for the spring and summer to be worn in the day time.
