Enchanted Midnight Spell

Starts out with a sparkling pear and patchouli mix. Rasberry is noticable. I would have never guessed it was in there if I never read the given notes here or on Chopard's description. The pear is not overbearing. Another great thing is that it smells like pear and not sour apple like many other fragrances tend to interpret pear. The mid phase is all about this high quality patchouli. The dry down deepens with sandalwood. It smells so exotic. It's like the patchouli is dancing on top of this wet sandalwood. No wonder this perfume lasts so long. There is this rich, wet sandalwood AND patchouli as a substantial base. I really get the name Enchanted Midnight Spell each time I enter this dryout phase. I never see it coming from the beginning with the sparkling fruitchouli entry. I find this so exciting, sexy and well worth it. I don't recall ever using the word sexy to describe a perfume on this site but I feel like this would be a great formal dinner date perfume. Something to wear on one of those occasions to switch things up and spray something different and exciting to build a memorable night out of. I never thought of sunflowers to have much of a smell but I feel the dry mustard-yellow colored powderiness of the sunflower petals within the sandalwood in the drydown. The bottle is gorgeous. The color really makes it. As a bottle collector too, this is a real gem to look at in my collection.

I agree pattyk, I'd Love to own this beauty but cannot find it anywhere (other than the Chopard website). Here's to hoping it ends up on ebay sales soon! Lovely bottle. Great shape and pale of blue. I love the evocative name. But what about the advertisement? Where is the magic? I just see a look-like-barbie that ask for a pseudo selfie before to suicide herself from the london tower. ,

Starts out with light wild cherry and pear. I do smell raspberry after it starts to dry down. Stays at the raspberry/hairspray smell lightly, Didn't ever smell patchouli.

Can't find it anywhere except on their site with a price at $165.00. Too rich for my blood especially when I can't test it to make sure it's right for me.....oh well.
