Happy Chopard Lemon Dulci

Lovely. Even if I own a hundred fresh citrus frags, I am always happy to bring a new one in my collection. Lemon Dulci is, quite obviously, about lemon and citruses but not done in a classic cologne way. I find it feminine because there is a sort of sweet tenderness to it. Starts as a lemony, green mint (lots of mint!) blast, green herbs like juniper or Rosemary. Lovely, fresh but not harsh. Balsamic. I call it the Spa phase! Smells like aromatherapy! This phase subsides after some minutes to give way to a creamy, sweet lemon. That's the part where this fragrance becomes more feminine and gentle. Orange blossom peeks in. A tiny bit of freshly sliced mango. Just an echo in the background (...not a fruity mess i mean!). The base is rounded by the woods but stays zesty due to a sparkling ginger. You can feel citruses all along the way besides the other notes that pop up. This fragrance makes me feel good. I can understand the comparison to Girl in Capri (did a side by side comparison): they're in the same family but they're different. GiC is way more grapefruit than lemony and its heart is girly-fruity -dept. store like. Lemon dulci is niche quality and more mature oriented. Longevity is good (4 hours mark) for a Citrus based frag. Sillage is average; if you overspray you will get complimented, otherwise with a classical 2 sprays it will stay quiet. Ideal for summer and hot days when you need a fresh pick me up. The bottle is a luxury: solid, heavy quality glass shaped like a yellow topaz, the stopper is a aqua blue sphere made of glass (!), gold lettering, it's a remarkable item (I'm not always keen on commenting bottles, but this one is beautiful, really beautiful). Really happy to have splurged on this one and Bigaradia, to be reviewed soon!

The first burst of citrus in this is crisp, lemon fresh and summery in a very simple way and for a while I thought that was all it had to give and was rather disappointed. That was not the case. After 20/30 mins this really interacted with my skin and a beautifully warm sunny depth developed. The lemon and mint were joined and enriched by sumptuous orange notes of mandarin and orange blossom,apple and cucumber tempered with apple and mango that was followed ( fairly quickly!) by verdant Shiso and smooth ginger. These spicy notes stay strong into the second hour and then I was left with warm orange and woody notes like sweet cinnamon in the final hour. 3 hours, mild sillage...is that enough to purchase a big bottle or even a small one again? What it gives I like a lot. I plan to layer this as a topper for the ubiquitous 'D&G Blue' and also over 'Arran Aromatics Seasalt & Sage' body lotion....to boost its staying power... I'll update you.

Leyendo los comentarios me decidí y estoy super contenta. Me lo puse hace 1 hora y tiene potencia y estela. Huele delicioso, huele a verano. El precio está muy bueno también, $21 en Amazon. Sin duda lo compro de nuevo. ........ Es el día después, la fragancia duró 5 horas, luego a ras de piel. En la ropa se quedó, mi sudadera tiene aun un suave aroma. Mi hijo me estuvo diciendo que huele a pastelito de limón (panettone) y es cierto. Ha evolucionado, siento que se parece mucho a DG Devotion EDP.

Such a yummy scent. It smells like a delicious lemon, mint sherbet. It’s bright and zesty to start and it eventually dries down to a lovely bright happy, powdery, soapy scent. It really is lovely and uplifting. I don’t usually enjoy soapy scents but this one is so bright and happy in an elegant grown up way. It’s long lasting and non offensive. Personally I feel that this is not a very summery fragrance. It is fresh but the powdery soapiness makes me feel that it’s nicer for Autumn or winter. Or maybe the office in an air conditioned environment where the skin is cool. I don’t see this as a scent for the sweaty humidity of summer, I love the bottle, such a beautiful heavy glass bottle and lid. Looks beautiful on the perfume tray.

One of the most underrated gems I’ve ever owned. Lemon Dulci is sunshine in a bottle, its bright, crisp, and quietly elegant. I’ve always wondered why Chopard scents don’t get more love... because honestly? They deserve it. I’ve had most of them in my collection, and even my husband is a fan of the house. With notes of lemon, bergamot, mango, ginger, orange blossom, cucumber and mint, it bursts open like a joyful morning. So fresh, so happy, so alive. I finished my bottle far too quickly and every spritz takes me back to beautiful days spent exploring Dallas, Austin, and Houston. I am lemon, roses, and muscs. Those notes alone would make me happy for the rest of my life. Lemon Dulci makes me happy. I sprayed both Lemon Dulci and Light Blue on skin to see how they compare, and I think Light Blue edges out Lemon Dulci, but only on initial spray. Light Blue has that apple note that really sweetens up the sauce, while Lemon Dulci comes out of the gate bronc-ing. Later, Lemon Dulci dries down with a softer, sweeter feel, and Light Blue shows off all that cedar which loses in comparison. I'm so glad I bought the Chopard...it's inexpensive, and really lovely, especially if you like a strong dose of lemon. I'll take it any way I can get it.

Just copped this randomly off Amazon, this was a total blind buy. For some reason, something came to mind and told me I needed a lemon scented perfume. It's safe to say, this is my FAVORITE perfume right now. It smells like lemonheads, the candy, in the sexiest way possible. I keep sniffing my arm, saying "gosh, where have you been all my life??"... I cannot comment on longevity yet as I just got this today. I may be exaggerating by saying this is my favorite, but I'm in LOVE. Perfect for the summer time. The fact I love this perfume so much is hilarious because I cannot stand the taste of lemons or lemonade, but I'm okay with smelling like it, HA! 10/10

I had the good fortune to finally locate testers of this and its sister scent Felicia Roses, after resisting the impulse to blind buy one or both of them many times over. I'm happy to report that I like both scents! Lemon Dulci immediately reminded me of Light Blue, only it's much more aromatic. It's a sassy little scent with quite a bit of punch. I was expecting lemon cleaner but, happily, got nothing of the sort. This is definitely purchase -worthy in my book, especially because I don't have such an extroverted, refreshing yet sweet lemon in my collection.

It wasn't love at first sight at all. The first time it was a blind buy, I was attracted by the bargain price and the cute packaging and bottle. Nowadays I can't miss it. It's a jewel. Lots of lemon, very fresh and vibrant. It lifts my spirits. The first opening I must confess was a big disappointment at first, like antibugspray... So bad, but it's worth it, the way it transforms and settles is delicious, modern and yet sophisticated. I really like using it on clothes. It is a fragrance that does not have anything generic nor does it smell cheap. 10/10 💕

This is quite a sweet and delicious lemon, like a herbal lemon drop - sweet, minty and citrusy. Thankfully it is also fresh and slightly spicy. So if you want a citrus fragrance but are tired of all the very tart and sour options, then this could just be what you are looking for but only if you like a bit of herbal spice as well. Sillage is good, you can feel a nice and sweet herbal lemon cloud around you but the longevity is about 3h and with time the sweetness becomes less prominent and you can mostly smell the herbs and lemon. Very refreshing!

I wore this today with the dupe oil for Petit Matin Maison Francis Kurkdjian by TheScent4You guy out of Gary Indiana. This is good stuff. Goes perfect with the dupe. I smell expensive for Lemon mint. Also, I think the reason the experience for wearers keeps getting better as you go from bottom to top of the comments is this fragrance wasn't the popular one of the line so it has had time to sit...now it is a strong powerhouse perfume that is surprisingly long lasting. Mine lasts all day long.

This is stunning fragrance! It's very fresh, lemony, citrusy, soft, floral and mildly sweet. It's giving nature/spring vibes which is why I adore it! The bottle is so amazing, the yellow and green color is divine. I also recieve this as a bday gift together with Jimmy choo floral and I am absolutely inlove with both because of the nature vibes they bring. I am totally satisfied and very happy. 10/10 for scent, sillage, projection, longevity and packaging! It's beautiful.

Top note really evokes happiness! (It may be used as a happy medicine.) Then, till the end it's lemon soap or lemon balm continually. Lemony sparkle over opaque white. Yes it's linear. And that's the excellence as citrus. Moreover this citrus has powerful sillage and longevity. There remains faint smell even after shower or laundry. Never fading lemon soap. How cost effective. Bottle - though simple, it's like a huge gem for the clarity, texture and color.

What I picture while sniffing this is smelling freshly grated lemon rind whilst chewing on a spearmint gum- that’s mainly what I get. But I got this for under $20 tester bottle so I can’t complain! It’s nice, refreshing and likeable . Lasts on me maybe 3 hours on skin which isn’t great but I would only wear this for running errands or maybe as a gym scent so it’s fine I can always reapply. Very satisfied with the fragrance , and I also adore the bottle

This scent is what I was hoping Herba Fresca by Guerlain would be. However, while Herba Fresca completely falls apart on my skin and disappears within 30 minutes, Happy Lemon Dulci lasts for hours and hours (on me at least). It is not a complex sophisticated fragrance, but it is happy, summer-y and light. If D&G Light Blue doesn't work for you, try this as an alternative. I found Lemon Dulci to be a much softer, more herbal sister of D&G.

This is a surprise hit for me. I grabbed it on a lark at TJ Max since it seemed aromatic and I’m a sucker for citrus. It delivered exactly that—a slightly green, cocktail-y, sweet citrus. It’s tropical without being juvenile or cloying. And it lasts surprisingly long on my skin and clothes. I can detect it as a skin scent up to 8 hours later but it’s cheap enough to respray for the lemon blast top-notes.

Mouth-wateringly juicy lemon, without being bitter or sour or resemble cleaning spray. Dries down very fresh and slightly sweet, but not too sweet. Surprising longevity for a citrus scent. Perfect balance, can't wait for the hot summer days to wear it. £24 for 100ml from notino which was great value. Would recommend if you are looking for a fresh citrus forward perfume for summer.

A beautifully crafted citrus fragrance. Although I'm not typically a lover of citrusy perfumes, this one stands out to me. It bears some resemblance to Light Blue, but I prefer Lemon Dulci because it lacks the strong musk note that I dislike in LB. To me, it’s a more affordable and well-made scent compared to Light Blue. Perfect for summer!

This perfume is right up my alley. I tried it at Marshall's today and I absolutely loved it. Yes, the opening was straight up citrus, but it eventually became woody/floral. Definitely to be worn in spring/summer months. The dry down reminded me a lot of Lancôme Miracle mixed with Langley by Ted Baker. Full bottle worthy for me.

Well-blended and each note appears singular and at it's own time. What a unique, non-gourmand citrus. Feels expensive but is not and a few spritzes in the morning will boost your mood. Amplifies to a gorgeous, seductive evening scent when layered with Zara Sultry Pear. Many compliments on this combination!

GORGEOUS. I've been using it for 2 weeks maybe and i've already gone trough 30ml of my 100ml bottle. Its citrusy of course but also minty and a little bit sweet. Perfect for summer. PLUS the bottle and the cap are stunning. I also think the cap is made of glass? Idk but either way beautiful bottle too.

I think Dulci is a misnomer, there's nothing sweet about this. It's more of a garden lemon. Actually, I get lemongrass from this, which I love! Lots of citral here, like a lemon peel. I'm a fan of all things citrus and this lasts longer than some of my others including 4711, Hadrien, MJ Lemon, etc.

I love this fragrance! I bought it blindly just based on the reviews and I don't regret it! I was looking for this perfume and I found the love of my life! I'm in love with this perfume! I have several niche perfumes but I have never smelled anything like it! It was love at first spray

I like the sharpness of the lemon in the opening. It's like Aqua Di Parma Colonia without the fuzzy roundness. The citrus lasts a surprisingly long time too. The drydown is typical, silage is decent. The price is amazing for what you get, and the presentation is very nice.

Such a lovely, sweet and delicious scent.. sparkling lemon with a hint of mint that feels refreshing and comforting at the same time. The dry down is beautiful too..soft and almost creamy lemon.. 🍋 Definitely a Summer staple from now on 😍

I love citric fragrances and this one with its sweet twist is super pleasing and a very good allrounder. Not too "funky", hence fince also for the office.

Not just lemon, but lemon in 4K—rind scraped into air, oils misting into your eyes, sharp enough to jolt you awake and sweet enough to keep you there. Think limonene on limonene, pressed straight from the peel, the kind of zing that shaves seconds off your morning fog. Not juice, but the zest of existence. But just as you’re bracing for that puckery tartness to tighten your jaw, something... softens. A breath of spearmint, chilled and green and impossibly clean, wafts in like a breeze through a lemon orchard. It’s fresh, yes, but not herbal or earthy—more like orbit gum in a Gucci clutch. Kind of teenage. Kind of fabulous. Kind of unreal. There’s this duality that’s really clever—effervescent topnotes fused with a soft musky roundness underneath. No bitterness. No citric bite. I have bought all the Chopard Happy testers for less then 20 dollars. And trying them on back and forth I have to say this one is the best for me. Its mint lemon lozenges which really amplifies the lemon. It really does not remind me of any perfume, I have both D&G light blue and light blue intense and it is not like those at all. This one is all lemon and only lemon. As for performance, it starts off as I said like minty lemon but at the drydown it becomes a bit sweet but not sickly sweet. It projects a bit, but it definitely could be better. Longevity is good, I can smell it slightly on my clothes the next day. By comparison, Bigaradia has an amazing bitter orange opening but that does not last more then 45 mins and then it turns into a bit of a generic sweet perfume (kind of vanilla-ish type of smell). Brigardia lasts OK as well but Its such a shame because the orange on top is soooo good. As for Felicia Roses, this one is has the best performance, its strong and it lasts however I have smelt this before and its one of those Versace crystal perfumes. Dunno which, I preferred the dark, the others are a bit generic... However, I like it because of that reason, its a crowd pleaser I guess. Don't get me wrong, I think they are all good for the price that I paid. However the Lemon Dulci is more my taste.

Blind buy from Jomashop, arrived in perfect condition sealed in the original box for a very reasonable price. The opening for me was a blast of sharp lemon 🍋. Not like cleaner or furniture polish, thank goodness, more like a pitcher of that powdered lemonade. Very strong synthetic lemon, but not really unpleasant. The initial citrus storm died down in seconds and things went full chypre. It smelled very green, herbal, even a little astringent. I'm sure this was the mint, cucumber, green leaf combo coming through 🌿. I'm not a huge chypre fan but in a few minutes, the sharpness went soft and it settled into a bright, barely-sweet citrusy white floral.🍊 🌼This third and final phase is fresh and feminine, a nice scent for welcoming spring after a long grey winter. It reads casual, there's no musk or powder to weigh it down. Sadly the longevity is poor, but I find that to be true of most citrus scents. Even pure orange oil loses its scent in no time. I get a few hours out of this before I need to respray. The bottle is heavy glass, and with its bright yellow and turquoise color, looks like a retro ray of 80s sunshine. A fun, solid like for me that I intend to use up this spring and summer ⛱️🌞.

Found this on a whim as a lemon scent for an ever-looming spring is so hard for me to find. For once, she is a good find. Fizzy, happy lemonade and zest on a vernal knoll transform into lemon drop candies ("Lemonheads") because of the mango undertone. A more tangy, less aquatic I Love Love or Light Blue. There's something almost vintage about it too. Perhaps because it doesn't smell watery-sweet, it seems to skew more old-fashioned for some people. I believe it is that orange blossom that gives it an undercurrent of nostalgia, like baby powder and doll's dresses. But never going overly floral, do trust that lemon is the star of the show. I do wish the mint or cucumber stuck out just a bit more, to make it more refreshing. Regardless, I find it to be a sublimely sunny, femme take on lemon, bright and unique. I'm sure the sensory experience will match better with the return of our warmer days.

Candy like lemon opening with a fresh, minty-eucalyptus note. I personally found the perfume in the first minutes too sweet for me, and a little too aromatic. But it settles very well on skin. As the first hours go by I keep reaching to smell my skin. An uplifting scent, can be too sweet at times but fresh enough for hot summer days. I also think It can be interesting to wear on cold snowy days. Versatile and great for layering with a signature perfume. Pretty weak longevity, but great projection and sillage at the beginning. Another thing, the quality : no alcohol smell, no synthetic feeling. High quality, and a great price. ______ Projection, sillage, longevity : 6,5/10 Originality, presentation : 8/10 Quality, value : 10/10 8/10

Don’t know where to start. I was surprised. It started as a lemon candy scent almost identical to Prada Candy sugar pop but surprisingly turned into the woody note at the dry down. I was confused for a minute, it’s not a bad thing. I have A girl in Capri so I understand a twist behind these new lemony scents however that woody scent is very warm for me during in the hot day. More suitable for colder days. That kind of woody scent. The notes in the perfume change very quickly to feel the freshness of citrusy scent to enjoy in hot weather. I hope this one is last more than two hours. Too bad the scent is quite nice tho, very fresh. And bottle is very luxurious.

this is a natural winner, the lemon,bergamot,ginger,orange are all there on the initial burst, then the mango and mint come into play.i personalty like lemon citrus style scents. i find this one clean and refreshing.for the price you will not go wrong buying it. so would i buy it again ? yes. the presentation is excellent. this is not really sweet, but has a very charging fresh scent. i think you could wear this in the dead of winter to bring back those spring/summertime scents.it is not a scent for attracting the opposite sex. just a smell good scent.it plays out good for either sex to wear.

this is a beautiful fragrance, especially for the price!! the bottle is also made of glass which i did not expect! it's a lovely fresh lemon scent. the notes listed are very accurate and my nose mostly picks up the lemon, mint, mango, cucumber and apple. this is the first citrus fragrance i have liked enough to buy. the issue with a lot of lemon fragrances is that they can skew towards smelling like cleaning product, but this perfume isn't like that, it's sweet and uplifting. it lasts about 2 to 3 hours on skin. perfect for warm and sunny days! happy indeed!!

I'm an admitted Lemon-Head so this is sings to me. A lovely re-fresher, perfect for summer time wear or when a "pick-me-up" is needed. Nothing terribly complicated but a terrific value for a low price tag. Bright zingy lemon opener that stays on top for at least an hour while the ginger and shiso leaf start to emerge. It settles nicely into a soft (orange blossom) sweet sandalwood lasting for at least 4 hours on my skin. Pairs nicely with and gives dimension to several name-brand "green tea" (ie. EA) based fragrances. A keeper!

Winter citrus? Ok, hear me out. I kept testing this in warm weather because citrus automatically equals spring and summer right? But there was always something that smelled wrong to me, cloying, even slightly nauseating. Since Florida is having unprecedented cold recently, I decided to give it another shot and somehow it's so much better in this cold weather. I sprayed straight out of the shower and felt almost like a relaxing spa scent. I'm going to give it a few more wears to be sure but I think this shines in cold.

I blind bought this. It is predominantly feminine but on my skin and turns out to be unisex. It is a refreshing and uplifting lemon scent with some fruity sweetness to add depth and summery elegance to it. It is a perfect refresher and mood booster for these conditions: like eating a refreshing sherbet at an ice cream bar on a quiet and elegant high street area. I can't imagine this working well on other types of weather. But for the Mediterranean summer this just works. Smells more expensive than what it is.

This high concept fragrance projects softy. Quite unusual overall, although Baldessarini Nautic Spirit is one fragrance in the same ballpark. This is lighter and weirder than Baldessarini, and no sea or water notes here. I would like to amp up the cucumber to see what happens. I feel neutrally about this, I like the projection but my nose is confused if I contemplate it closely. Lemon Dulci seems like a citrusy but "classy" EDP more than a casual freshie. I prefer Bigaradia of this collection.

In my opinion, this perfume is not lemon-candy like or zingy citrus type. The citrus note starts quite sharp, but soon followed by ginger and mint. Then it gets more floral along the way with some light aromatics in the background. It smells extremely similar with Jewel by Alfred Sung especially in the mid phase, but Jewel leans more on frangipani and light coconut while Lemon Dulci leans more on ginger and mango. Both are fresh, soapy / shampoo-ish, tropical, but they never get too sweet.

The scent is really pleasant, you get a strong hit of lemon, it’s not cloying at all, and it's perfect for summer. The sillage is quite good, even people around me can smell it clearly. It’s a safe blind buy for those who are sensitive to smells, just like I am. Lovely and good quality as almost all Chopard perfumes. I don’t feel the mint, the cucumber or the mango notes. Based on the notes, I expected a Devotion vibe, but it’s definitely giving me Blue Light vibes instead.

Dulci lemon, summer test, skin. Love these bottles. My country doesn’t seem to have the orange coloured bottle :-( Ok lemon dulci, bright, herby, I don’t think this is like Light Blue, or The green Dkny. It’s bright lemony herby, it’s not sour, it dries down a bit like sniffing rounded lemonade, this doesn’t stay bright or true to what you initially spray. For my use I would layer if I came upon a bottle. Try mixing with a non acidic sweet scent!

Lemon dulci indeed - a sweet lemon. Today, it reminded me of J'Adore L'eau Cologne Florale and Miss Dior Cherie L'Eau. Out of the notes lemon, apple, orange blossom dominate with mango background. It is very cheerful and refreshing. If you are cheeky enough to want to smell like a lemonade - this is the way to go. And indeed, a few better heat companions. I must try it in different season to know more of the facets.

I don’t hate it. It’s just Smelling no complexity at all. It smells like lemons. Like the whole lemon. Lemon Peel lemon pith And actual lemon juice there’s something sweet in there but I think maybe it’s just more lemon? Lol maybe this will get more complex as it ages right now if you love lemons, this is the perfume for you. I’ll probably end up updating this but for now I’m coming up lemons

I bought this on a blind by because it was very inexpensive through FragranceNet. This is a very bright lemony citrus scent. On the tester paper it came off a little sharp. But on my skin, it is a lovely bright sparkly lemony mint scent. As it dries down, some of the white florals are coming through. This will be a lovely fragrance on a hot day...it’s bright, effervescent and sparkly.

This has very nice fresh and uplifting top notes. The bottle is also just for my taste. Top notes are very-very citrusy. After an hour this scent had changed into a very chemical one. Somehow woody and spicy and I don't like it that much anymore. Too bad, but maybe should try it on skin too just to be sure. On paper seems to be herbal and I'm just not sure about it.
