Happy Spirit Amira d’Amour

Chopard Happy Spirit Amira d'Amour smells like yellow beeswax candles. That is all I get, just waxy and animalic with sweet honey overtones. Very bee. All that princess marketing is silly, unless you are talking about a princess who will one day be crowned Queen. 👑 Queen Bee that is. Beeswaxy yellow honey in an unrefined raw way. Definitely a LOVE in winter, below 50 degrees F.I would be afraid to wear this outdoors in summer because it would attract bees.

Wow...I like this one. Ambered honey.....tonka.....florals underneath....I see the comparison,partly, to those CK Euphorias mentioned....CK Liquid Gold and yes, even Secret Obsession vibes. But I also get vibes of Kate Walsh Boyfriend and also L de Lolita Lempicka....IMO. Medium logevity/sillage/performance. This was a huge like at first sniff !!!

This is total LOVE for me. It's currently around 65F and the honey in this is coming through slightly dirty for me.....which I LOVE! Blending in beautifully with the white florals. Lovely!! I want to bathe in it :o)

First, I really like the bottle, the shade of purple is beautiful when light shines through it. I'm not necessarily a heart person, but this one is pretty and solid. As to the perfume, the beginning is a little difficult for me to get through. It seems like a very dark mix that takes a bit to come together - reminds me of heavy patchouli scents, which I normally stay away from. This is smoky and deep. I tend to like sweet scents and powdery vanillas, so this was a big change for my taste but I think I like it. I don't have many honey perfumes and perhaps I could have started a little lighter, but as an introduction to what I think is a raw honey smell, this has it. I would wear this in colder weather strictly because of its weight and its length on my skin (7+ hours). It's powerful at first but becomes a moderate sillage scent after it's been on a while. Someone else mentioned a similarity with Boyfriend (which I love) and I agree, they do have something in common but definitely aren't dupes for each other. While I blind-bought this, I'd recommend getting a sample first. I'll try and layer it with something a little sweeter and see what happens.

It's the (still available) little sister of the unfortunately discontinued Liquid gold Euphoria by CK. They do smell in the same range but it's less potent, airy-er and there's little sillage to it. It's a like not a love because I enjoy perfumes I don't have to overspray to get an average of 8hrs longevity, also the composition seems to be less complex than ELqG. I smell honey, Tonka and I do get a bit of smoke and florals. Will be wearing this spring and hope for it to behave differently in humid weather rather than sunny but still cold. Wouldn't recommend to blind buy unless you are accustomed to honey dominant perfumes.

In this 54F temp, this perfume is heavenly. The honey becomes so smooth, cozy and warm. Chopard Happy Spirit Amira d'Amour is a different animal in cooler weather. This is where it belongs. So rich and opulent. Smouldering, dark and mysterious. Still sweet but mature. This is gorgeous. So happy that I have a back up bottle. This is a warm, dark purple, thick but cozy, wool winter coat.

The first thing that comes to mind with this fragrance is the song Lady Marmalade; a deep seductive honey fragrance with a boudoir fashioned purple bottle - it helps that the honey reminds me of orange marmalade for some reason. I truly like this fragrance. For lack of a better word, there is a sparkle to the deep sexy scent - something that makes this scent from not going underground indecent. Ok, Im rambling - in short this scent is a nighttime come hither fragrance. And most definitely, if you want to seduce an Amir, you must have this scent. HOWEVER do not sniff too close on your initial spray - the first 30 seconds is a hot mess of a combobulation of scents that quickly find their place in this delightful seductive scent. (yes, combobulation is a made up word) I LOVE LIKE THIS FRAGRANCE

at first i get heavy tonka and some pink pepper, then the honey. it seems like there is something else spicy, but different than pink pepper, almost like cinnamon. i do not get oud in this as some people have mentioned, nor do i seem to get many florals. it's mostly a cinnamon-tonka-honey that is completely unisex on my skin. not really what i was expecting to be honest, but not bad at all.

Sweet spicy patchouli (strangely, not listed). A pleasant yet nondescript scent with poor sillage and lasting power.You can get something more memorable for the same price. So much for the stunning bottle...

Lasts about an hour. It's a rich, tartly sweet honey, that's round and warm. The jasmine adds something mature and sexy to it with a little mystery. But then it starts to vanish and it's gone in an hour. So, not a winner for me. 4/10

Wow! I have to admit that everything that is released as special and mostly limited editions for the Middle East market has an exceptional quality. I met this at Jesus del Pozo, for example, and now also at Chopard. The perfume has the quality of the niche ones, the performances are way above the average of the western market ones. The presentation is flawless. Now, before talking about the actual perfume, I would like to make a statement that might surprise you: Amira was launched in 2015. I think Tom Ford smelled Amira then, and this is how he came up with the idea of Soleil Brulant launched in 2020. Amira d'Amour is a distinctly oriental perfume. In the opening it seems to have a silky oud, but not for long. After its disappearance, the perfume becomes linear with smoked honey and tonka, spiced with red pepper. It is a perfume to have in your collection without a doubt! . If you like the genre, you can find it at an unbeatable price.

Oh my goodness! I finally sampled Happy Spirit Amira d'Amour and was shocked! Powerful first impression on a smokey oud note that was too masculine for my liking. Thank goodness, the powerful note warmed to a sweet svelte scent of honey and gradually to some hints of florals. The scent over several hours became more sweet, but not sickly with curious hints of honeyed fruit and soft whispers of florals. I felt a slight resemblance to Thierry Mugler's Womanity, but it was more earth and floral based with the sweet honey. A precious gift for any Amira: Princess

this is powerful oud, how is oud not listed ???!! it is a lot of oud. very dark, I would say this scent is unisex, my husband uses this a lot more than I do nicely done oud though if you are oud lover. must say also great longevity and silage this an happy spirut forever are interesting sisters, both smell very oriental but each it in its own way, this is oud oriental happy spirit forever is a floral spicy oriental I like both as they are very distinct perfumes

Amira d’Amour is a bomb of honey and tonka. This is an intense fragrance. Amira d’Amour is a church filled with burning beeswax candles floating on a barge filled with tonka beans. It's not a thin, sweet fruitichouli aimed at the US market. It's a big, heavy fragrance targeted to the bolder tastes of the Middle East fragrance consumer. I'm not sure I like it, but I respect it.

@KarlekLila yes as you said its a middle eastern exclusive that's why it's called Amira which is the Arabic name for princess as LadiesRed said..btw I tried it, it was too sweet almost syrupy honey smothering as hell and it had a fruity vibe like dried fruits.

I did smell it and it is very sweet and fruity, ripe pineapple, amber, sugar, floral after some time sprayed... Nothing to do with pink pepper ..

Remarkably similar to Euphoria Liquid Gold and La Couche de Diable. If you like warm, sweet, spicy fragrances, you will like this perfume.
