Heaven

I love this fragrance. Bought it first time back in 1998 and absolutely fell in love with its fougere (I didn't know the name back then) note combo. It was the first time and probably one of only few when I could almost visually perceive the fragrance. Upon smelling it, I "saw" in my mind something in a shape of a gold star expanding. It's hard to express it in proper words. Truth be told, after wearing it for almost 2 years all the time, the scent got less exciting than at the beginning. But now I'm experiencing it all over again. Over last 10 years I've checked Heaven clones from about 5 different sources and they were nowhere close to the real thing. Luckily, recently I've come across a small Polish perfumery that offered to produce Heaven clone for me. They sent me two versions for me to accept. Still pondering, which one is closer to the original, but it's there! The similarity is stunning. All I can say if you really miss this fragrance - find a good independent perfume maker and they will produce it for you for the fraction of what you'd have to pay for the 20-year old bottle of real thing. In my case it's the cost of typical Chanel/Dior EDP.

This is the son of boss elements + davidoff cool water. The earthy components are mixed with ozonic notes and the result is a blend very fresh, light, clean and uplifting. Yes it's not groundbreaking but rarely a fragrance gave to me this sensation of wellness and relax. It also has that 90's vibe that i love. In my opinion it is one of the best vintage fresh edt and im Happy to have it in my collection. It's rare, if you find Heaven for a good price just buy it, if you like the fresh fragrances of the 90's it's a safe blind buy. Performance is just ok, good for spring and summer in every situation. What a magic! On the first look on notes, you see that here is one unordinary scent, mens but floral. No, it isn't feminine at all, dominant notes are floral but it's still really masculine. Scent for hedonists, this is not kind of scent with you will please the crowd, this is scent for enjoy yourself. Great balanced, strong performances and perfect combination of notes. Shame that they discounted this fortune. You can see how much people loved this scent,when only 5-6 years after production break, it become one of the rarest mens perfumes you can find...

Heaven (Chopard), What about Adam (Joop), Rush (Gucci), Nemo (Cacharel), Havana (Aramis), L'Uomo (Trussardi). I really miss these great discontinued fragrances!!! I wish they ever bring them back (Aramis brings Havana back as I read)!

Heaven is a classic for a reason! The lavender and citrus open up so fresh, and then it settles into this warm, woody amber scent that lasts all day. It's sophisticated but not overpowering, perfect for everyday wear.

@Endymion, I find some similtudine between Heaven that I really adore and Acqua di Parma, Mirto di Panarea but it`s very pity that it`s discontinued.

Do you know a fragrance that resemles to Heaven? A real resemblance! Unfortunately, I could never find any which was similar to this "heaven" :)

If you're not able to afford full bottle of Heaven try Kiton Men! After about half of an hour, Heaven becomes almost identical to Kiton.

Although I'm a woman:), I adore this scent. I think a very handsome and stylish man should smell like that.

Heaven by Chopard course intrigued me for so evocatively suggestive name, who would not know the fragrance of Paradise? The opening is citrusy but is partially obscured by a smoke effect that seems to lead somewhere ... but can not, there are vague hints of flowers (they are not able to break them down) but the bottom is almost dense foggy cedar and amber. I agree with those who compared him to Kiton homme, although the latter has a less dense background. The Paradise is one thing, Heaven represents a tiny infinitesimal part, how lovely it was the day of creation ... To be used for autumn and winter, but be careful not to overdo it with the spray, people around you might not like the excessive use. good

Well.. Heaven is quite a name and a claim and Chopard managed to bag it. Its spicy, clean spicy- not warm spicy. I'm wearing it today. Its very male I wouldnt call it unisex. It seems to be a rare as hens teeth to find. The only time Ive been taken to ebay to find none and asked to be on a waiting list.. I have a 90s little blue bottle 8mls. I bought it years ago as a mixed collection. I'm trying to imagine Richard Gere wearing this as hes my kryponite.. Yes its good. Once the top notes receed I get florals cyclamen.. thats nice. Its not too sweet at any stage. A good touch of amber to keep the notes singing.

You gonna get something similar to CK Eternity, may be a little bit better I think. It's definitely fresh floral aromatic!

I read all the positive reviews and became curious. Today I received a mini bottle (5ml). Well, I don't share the general enthousiasm. Longevity is good, but that's about it. I get a dated, piercing linear floral scent, a bit medicinal. If I recall well it is in the direction of Cartier's Santos Sport. Quality wise it's ok, but everytime I get a whiff of the smell on my wrist I'm glad I didnt do a blind buy! 4/10

This fragrance has achieved cult status in Latin America. I had a large perfume house contact me once to purchase a bottle for their scientists to dissect in order to recreate a copycat scent. In America, however, it is generally regarded as a well-constructed but unremarkable marine scent. Americans tend to like some spice in their men's scents, even in the aquatic scents (think of Cool Water by Davidoff*, which has spicy notes in all three layers). Heaven has a rather flat, sweet appeal to it. The rosewood in the tops offers some lift, but not anything that approaches earth or spice. This type of fragrance (exemplified also by Gucci Pour Homme II, Prada for Men, and Chrome Legend by Azzaro) is well received by Eastern European and Latin men. American men comment that these fragrances are too “sweet” or “feminine”. Other than the obvious lack of spice, I think what makes this scent singular is its liberal use of Cyclamen in the heart. The Givaudan** website describes Bourgeonal, the chemical derivative from the Cyclamen plant, as “a fresh watery floral sweet Olfactive Note.... Floral, Green, Muguet, Fresh, Powerful, Diffusive... with a watery green character...a unique muguet-aldehyde character extensively used in toiletries and alcoholic fragrances”. Personally, I find this a pleasant fragrance, but nothing that I would wear myself. It is not overtly masculine or feminine; the “marine” accord makes it rather neutral. Its presence reminds me of Horizon, by Guy Laroche, an earlier trendsetting (and far less expensive) floral-herbaceous marine. The base of Heaven has none of the animalistic fixative notes (ingredients state musk, but it must be in very low concentrations) that I enjoy in all scents, even my Greens and Florals. I welcome others' thoughts on it, as it has such an enormous fan base that there must be something I am missing-? *Cool Water by Davidoff: Top notes include mint and green nuances, lavender, coriander and rosemary. The heart notes include geranium, neroli, jasmine and sandalwood. Nostalgia for folks is a funny thing. I never smelled this in the 90s and got a mini recently as I like collecting vintage 90s stuff. This is a floral, soapy, sharp thing. Sort of reminiscent of Fierce but not as rounded or loud. In the vein of a Platinum Egoiste, too, but not as elegant or as well-constructed. Has a plasticy Tonka base with some sharp white Musk. Longevity isn’t great at 4-6 hours with moderate projection. 6.5/10. Nostalgia is what has people asking $400 for this. It’s an early 90s clean masculine with sharp edges. Not horrid but something I’d chase if you’re blind buying

I haven't actually smelled this for years, and I can't really remember the actual scent... I just know it made my teenage self swoon! If a male friend was wearing this, I would just sit near him and let myself get excited. Have never had another scent effect me like that since. :(

Almost the same as Nightflight which I prefer, but has nothing in common with both Kiton formulations.
