Jasmin Moghol

This scent is not for those who look for complexity. This is very simple and built around two notes - jasmine and sandalwood, but executed with such precision, which is inherent only in the works of a true Master.. Incredibly realistic jasmine and equally realistic sandalwood. It's the first scent I came across where jasmine is really dark, deep, and mysterious without being sweet. Yes, I agree, to me too it has a royal medieval Indian vibe. I too don't notice any rose, or at least not the usual garden roses I am used to. There is a bit more jasmine in the opening and a bit more sandalwood in the base, but otherwise it's more or less linear, and yet very mysterious and captivating. To me this degree of realism and this kind of simplicity make the scent absolutely exquisite and expensive smelling. Update: When I smell this fragrance not my nose to my wrist, but from some distance, an unexpected note appears. Something warm and earthy. Something that reminds me of rosehip seed oil.

My favorite jasmine perfume I’ve ever tried. All my male friends swoon over it, it’s sexy and deep. Imagine lying on an emerald green velvet chaise, draped in delicate cream colored silk and dripping in decadent gold jewelry. That’s what this perfume feels like. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last as long on me as I would like.

Hat's off to Alberto for creating an exceptional example of a perfect balance between 2 elements, here jasmine and rose. I would strongly recommend a sniff to anyone who can't get themselves to wear rose but keeps an open mind. The jasmine kept up by the tuberose is also of course sublime.

Yes! Smells like Chinese Jasmine indeed! But I can smell something lauric, musky, but the spiciness of sandalwood and lil bit of roses are here! But to me it is a Chinese Jasmine indeed! Fresh, light, but has a depth too!

The roses and the sandalwood create a creamy, slighty fresh base on top of which there is this semi-animalic (super-)natural jasmin (I swear I sense a neroli too!). Words, why have you forsaken me?

Jasmin study 101. Also definitely supported by tuberose, green, intoxicating one. Overall clean, feminine, classic jasmine, nothing more, nothing less.

Nice parfume very strong but beautiful scent of Jasmine .... After few minutes the roses scents will comes out who ever love jasmine can pick up this parfume elegance for winter and night party parfume...

Just revisited Chopard's collections again, and this is still the most noteworthy one with a realistic jasmine note, but no more, no less.

It comes close to the scent of real jasmine, but doesn’t quite get there. It still has those indolic qualities, which I enjoy, though it’s more of a like than a love for me. The fragrance is quite linear — it doesn’t evolve much over time, and there aren’t many other notes to either soften or intensify the jasmine.

I wished to feel the jasmine more but unfortunately the rose is dominant and the sandalwood too strong. The projection and longevity are modest, I like the bottle though.

I am a jasmine fiend and ordered a bunch of 2-mL spray decants of various jasmine-dominant fragrances, this being one. When this one's turn came around for sampling, I applied it without re-reviewing the notes, to allow for an unbiased first impression. The initial blast was of a lovely cool honeyed jasmine, with woody underpinning, and I got very excited, because that is just what I am looking for! But a couple of minutes into the development, I started smelling bug spray. Oh no! Then I came here and saw the notes with the prominent rose elements. My skin for some reason turns every rose fragrance I've tried into bug spray, which is quite depressing because I love the scent of natural roses. Unfortunately the bug spray persisted throughout the full dry down for me. I think when ordering this I was hopeful that the rose would be more of supporting player rather than an identifiable note, but to my nose/on my skin the rose really took the forefront over the jasmine. So, if rose clashes with your skin, as it does for me, I suggest to pass this one by.

This is a really great sandalwood perfume. It smells like real Mysore sandalwood with some cumin spiciness. The jasmine is pure, clean and really wonderful but quite short lived. It is similar to Cortlille in that there is no indole. The middle section is slightly floral but mainly composed of fantastic spicy and warm sandalwood with wafts of flowers. It is very well done and could be unisex. Longevity is quite limited and sillage intimate.

It has the royal medieval Indian vibe. Where sandalwood is overwhelming and jasmine is so deep, I did not notice the rose. However I felt the effect of the powdery rose when it cool down, I loved it and did not hesitate to buy it, the size of the f50 ml. I hope this will suffice me, I don't think I will buy it again later. It is unique, but not forever, there are other competing perfumes that are more worth to get.

Ozonic watery jasmines... The drydown is quite amusing ozonic jasmines with mineral water! it's like being in the wild next to a silent small waterfall where you can smell the freshen of the river flowing on the waterfall and some jasmines falls on that mineral ozonic water! it is like a cleaned indolic jasmines. Can't deny that this is pure bless for those who loves jasmines. Beautiful.

Tons of rose and jasmine on a woody base. There might be some musks and aldehydes' lurking somewhere here. On my skin the floral notes are a little vintage. It reminds me a little bit of Red Door. Very nice quality but not my cup of tea. Tried it multiple times and still don't get the allure that others have found in Jasmin Moghol. I got a 10 ml mini and that is more than enough!

Nothing powder in JM. It's very screechy. I gave it a year and nothing has changed. I went ahead and put it up for sale. Really unfortunate
