Tobacco Malaki

Oh, Hubby will love this! And I will enjoy smelling it on him!

bought a sample of this. opening is godly, reminds me of The One edp. Dry down is a bit worse, still pretty good consisting of mostly saffron and tobacco. after the opening it doesn't project well at all, becomes a skin scent after 1 hour max. it lasted only 2 hours on me??? was not expecting this at all, will try again in some time and hope to get different results but it's been 2 hours since I sprayed it and I can maybe get a hint of the scent if I concentrate enough. This just feels like The One edp old batch but worse lol. will not buy the full bottle, just get The One (edp or parfum), better longevity, projection and drydown for the same uses (winter/fall/date night), you only lose on the saffron but I don't think it's such a huge deal.

The Chopard Malaki perfumes used to be strong and independent of each other, but ever since Black Incense came to market, the new ones are not impressive anymore. They seem to be a follow-up to the last disappointment. Tobacco Malaki comes over as a cheap mixture of Amber Malaki, Oud Malaki, and their last concoction, Leather Malaki. It is not a terrible scent if you're not familiar with the whole Malaki line-up, but when you are, it is a total mess. I expected more from Mister Morillas

This is a sweet, saffron forward tobacco fragrance. It will instantly remind you of the following: Atkinsons : shine despite of everything Mauboussin: star for men Born to stand out: drunk saffron The common thing between all of them is the saffron accord used. Looking at the ingredients you'd expect a dry and dark fragrance, but it's not dry, and only semi dark. It's an oriental warm rich fragrance, most prominent notes are saffron/tobacco/ labdanum, very solid indeed. The malaki collection is priced reasonably and soon this one will be more affordable. Is it redundant to have it if you own the perfumes I mentioned? Probably yes. Though all of them aren't identical, but to an untrained nose they'll smell very similar. At the dry down it will give you a tobacco 01 by Swiss Arabian vibe. Performance is good. Nothing beastly here, good enough, lasts well on fabrics, you smell it long hours on skin. Fall/winter/date night Ladies can pull this off indeed.

Blind bought it and I was expecting warm tobacco because of the amber note but this is not resinous tobacco, it is dry like desert and smoky/woody. You don’t get the playful creaminess from The One but very masculine, aged tobacco. I would say that Tobacco Malaki is for 30yo+
