Vanille Malika

This is amazing! It smells like I imagine an arabian princess would smell like wearing a long flowy red dress and is very well put together with long dark hair. Vanille Malika is a very sophisticated vanilla. It is sweet, and warm and has a touch of spice. It is also syrupy and velvety. I think the syrupy factor comes from the lychee. Don’t think fresh lychee, think more lychee syrup. The incense also keeps it warm and sensual and gives it character. To my nose, the vanilla is really prominent and sweet and smells like a natural vanilla essence. Love, love ,love it I am so happy to own this beautiful and unique vanilla in my collection❤️

This perfume changed my life. Never have I gotten this many reactions from people, from inches away sniffing around the room trying to figure out whose perfume this is. Multiple people in my building told me they knew I was home because they could smell my perfume in the elevator way after I left. Such a boozy and seductive and deep vanilla. It's a vanilla with so much warmth and character and amazing silage. NOTE: I sometimes layer it with Guirlan Santal and that cuts through the gourmand in a beautiful way.

The first sprays feel intoxicatingly powerful, in a good sense. This is definitely a very mysterious fragrance and I can see why some people associate it with the Middle East; like an Arabic goddess. I would say it has a lot of personality and sometimes on enclosed spaces (such as a bus) it can be even overbearing for oneself, I would suggest beware of the sprays as at first (with a really sweet and bourbon smell opening) it may seem like it didn't get through your skin, but it develops after half an hour... and intensely. No idea about the surrounding people around me but as the wearer you notice it a lot. After an hour or two it develops into a bourbon vanilla scent that it's very sensual and mysterious. It doesn't have a big development afterwards but you can still notice the tingling sensation it evokes.

Honestly, I never thought I would fall so much in love with such extravagant perfume. From the first application, it was as if I was back in the local UAE bazaar in the essences and oriental perfumes section. This fragrance takes me back to Dubai time and time again. And that lovely smoky note of incense that intertwines with vanilla, sandalwood and pepper making it all into one whole stunning picture of a rich sheikh's wife at the local market choosing new oils for her signature perfume from the smiling saleswoman Fatima.

It was a blind buy for me and at first I regretted it completely. It starts out very intense, even a little overbearing. But if you can get past the first hour it turns into the best, most creamy, powdery and cosy scent. The vanilla is not overly sweet or prominent, it kind of develops in the background and holds everything together. I love it, it's perfect for cold weather.

A delicate composition built around a subdued, graceful vanilla—one that resists the pull of dessert-like gourmandise. Instead, it offers a sweetness that is soft, subtle, and quietly enveloping. Intimately close to the skin, this fragrance whispers rather than shouts, creating a gentle aura of warmth and understated elegance.

The opening surprised me. Instead of plush vanilla I felt rhubarb-like note verging on litchi. Vanilla is barely present, instead I feel distant cigarette smoke, something woody and quite obviously patchouli. My sample card states patchouli is in the mix. Yet it's all a blur. The scent is very light and I think it might bloom during summer. In 20°C autumn it is a skin scent and I am disappointed, I even regret using the sample today. Such a gorgeous bottle. It must host something better. I love and own Iris Malika. The sample of Black Incense Malaki stole my heart. And Chopard's vanilla is only this? I love the note, but here it is barely present, unsweetened and herbal, and I feel as if a drop of Baccarat Rouge which I hate. Did they spread a barrel of this long-lasting monstrosity among perfumers? I feel it in so many recent scents and it is very characteristic. Here it takes the form of a lit up cigarette and prevents me from enjoying the vanilla it covers. 4 hours of wear and the vanilla finally is more prominent. It is the vanilla of many contemporary releases. Dry and woody. At this stage the scent is prettier. Very subtle, it barely radiates off me, still when moving my head I feel the awful Baccarat Rouge particle, uh. I must add that the scent is not bad, it is subtle and elegant. Rather dry. I am just very sensitive to that disliked particle. On a bright side - in Vanille Malika it is more Chanel Coromandel than Baccarat.

I have iris with a glass cap and then this vanille but they replaced the glass cap with a cheap looking plastic and I don’t like that.

the first few seconds are sweet, juicy, fruity, and then the medicinal smell sets in - the smell of that medicinal cough syrup that leaves your throat feeling minty

Wow wow WOW!! I’ve been on a litchi kick lately and never did I think I’d love a heaping dose of insemse with it but here I am in LOVE with this scent. Love af first wear. I love vanilla and incense I mean Vanagloria is one of my favorite scents of all time that just make me feel cozy and it smells feminine and sensual. This scent with the vanilla and incense mixed with that litchi make it intoxicating. It’s sexy. It’s a very in your face scent but it’s a gorgeous overdose to the senses. I knew I pulled more towards these notes so glad to say this was a blind buy success! It’s sexy it’s delicious syrupy litchi with incense and vanilla. I agree with the reviews that say it gives them Dubai vibes but I’m seeing more of a professional pole dancing seductress in Dubai that knows how to charm some snakes 👀 it’s GOOD good.

I'm the biggest vanilla hater on this website. I hate vanilla because I think it has no personality. Also, I am the biggest fan of boozy, alcoholic perfumes on this website. Therefore, with this fragrance, I discovered that I can like vanilla, if it is a boozy one, like bourbon vanilla. Vanille Malika opens up with a boozy vanilla and lychee. After it dries down, the lychee note disappears, leaving you 90% with the same drunkening vanilla with a 10% hint of incense. I don't know if I will ever buy it, but I will always remember this perfume as being the one that showed me that I can also like vanilla and that it can, in fact, have personality.

I really wanted to like the perfume I looked at all the notes and reviews I love vanilla and this is just not vanilla. I don’t know if I got a bad bottle but as soon as you spray it you get straight nail polish remover and it never really goes away, it’s not sweet at all maybe it’s from shipping because it was in transit for almost 5 days but i don’t know after reading all the reviews and how many people seem to like it I can’t have gotten a good bottle because I couldn’t imagine someone being able to wear it, it kinda smells like cheap nail polish remover.

What are all these people who *hate vanilla doing leaving reviews for......A VANILLA PERFUME! I mean seriously, I'm not going to ask my friend who hates horror movies what they thought of the latest Wes Craven movie? I'd like to learn more about what this fragrance is like, what experiences you may have had, but I can't learn anything if you out-of-hand hate one of the basic foundational ingredients.

This isnt your warm cozy balsamic vanilla , instead its quiet fun and young vanilla with obvious fruity naunces (litchi) resting on some incense infused woods .. Its very wearable and pretty , i got it blindly for a good deal along with a quality velvet pouch and i dont regret my purchase. Vanilla candies in heart shapes .. its just soo sweet and fun

The Opoponax and vanilla are balanced. It is very pretty and feminine. However not the vanilla i am looking for. I am looking for a vanilla forward scent like VP. Deciding if I need to get it 🤔, because it is still a pretty fragrance regardless.

Smokey incense and syrupy lychee are the standout notes in this perfume to my nose. It is LOUD and very long lasting. It projects for hours and hours and hours. Great buy for the price!

Can’t wait to try this! Chopard creates amazing fragrances for a very decent price and a spicy, fruity vanilla is right up to my alley! Stunning visual campaign for this release.
