Vetiver d'Haiti au The Vert

I can't break it down in notes or detect what exactly makes this fragrance addictive, but I love it. I'm a fan of vetiver in general, but I haven't explored many facets of it yet. This is the softest one I've encountered so far: very gentle, warm, I would even say fluffy? It feels like the comfiest sweater you have. Unfortunately it doesn't last long enough, and I wish it were stronger. Still gets a 5 from me, would love to have a full bottle, my 8 ml decant is being used up way too fast. Its lack of 'strength' is also one of its advantages. Usually the scent lingers in the back of my mind, it's not overwhelming. But the act of smelling it from time to time, remembering that I'm wearing it, never fails to lift my mood ever so slightly.

Behind its apparent simplicity, which feels fresh and natural, lies depth and sophistication. This is a very gentle, soft vetiver—far from the typical "masculine" kind—blended with cool green tea. In the background, there's a delicate warmth, somewhere between leather and smoke. This intriguing note gives the fragrance a sense of elegance and luxury—it's the heart of its charm. It sets vétiver d'Haïti apart from all the seemingly similar perfumes. There's something unusual about it, a kind of intimate warmth that transforms what first appears to be a simple "office-friendly" scent into something alluring, enticing, and undeniably sensual. Completely unisex. On a woman's skin, it feels incredibly sensual rather than masculine.

Sophisticated and interesting. Vetiver and tea note are absolutely delightful in this. Projection is decent, but doesn’t last very long unfortunately.

not insane about it enough to full-bottle it so i’m living decant by decant — for work i grab this one, so harmonious and still makes a statement. i would have liked more vetiver but it’s here for sure. even during a heatwave i thought it performed beautifully.

For me it smells like Encre Noire (black) which I really love, but this one is calm and not last long. The color of the bottle is very beautiful, and expensive too

In my opinion the dry down has some iso e super and also a little flowery. Very weak vetiver. Nothing special, you feel (from the first spray that it's a quality fragrance). Other than that, it's alright but super expensive. Smooth, elegant but again, nothing special.

I got this today for a bit lower than half its price, to be honest I don't believe that this worth the official 230E retail. It was actually a blind buy, I got a bit obsessed with this line for no specific reason, I already have Neroli (which is amazing BUT with longevity issues) and the Orange one (which is really great). I am sure though that this bottle is gonna be my last from the Chopard collection of their niche line. This one strongly reminded me of Absolutely Sublime by Zara Home, which was the rough version of Mixed Emotions by Byredo. I also get strong references to the base of Rive D'Ambre by Tom Ford. It is not identical but I clearly recognise its base here. Not a really niche release, I don't mean that this smells bad but I think it is quite simple, accessible and not so groundbreaking. All in all a nice scent to enjoy during warmer months. Not much of vetiver or tea here though - none to be exact - this is indeed a iso-e bomb.

Not gonna lie I was disappointed with this assuming my bottle wasn’t bad. I blind bought this and couldn’t wait to smell since I have more from this line and love Vetiver based Fragrances’s so this is perfect. But no, the initial blast was pore isopropyl alcohol and dries up fast left no oil residue in skin either. Is this a joke? Was suspecting that this was a diluted or fake bottle but I bought this from a reputable fragrance store. Tried getting my hands on a sample or something from chopard but couldn’t. Wanted to compare. Ended up returning it based on suspecting a bad bottle. The label on bottom says f bottle was a bit different than others I saw on internet but that doesn’t necessarily mean it was a fake. Could have been the sticker label changed. Or made elsewhere. The box came wrapped in its typical luxury style and stationary and satchel with booklet. And I had to come on here to see reviews now I notice some people are mentioning it’s a very soft and skin scent and doesn’t project or last much. Maybe my bottle was authentic then? Who knows but I was disappointed. I used to dislike this at one point, but my taste has changed since then. The opening is a blast of vetiveryl acetate and iso e. It can be very overwhelming, bitter and unappealing at first glance but once it develops, you began to appreciate its simplicity. It's predominantly a soft cedar scent, with a tiny bit of vetiver, a hint of tea and bitter amber. Tom Daxon's Iridium comes to mind, mainly due to the similar iso e/cedar accord and it also shares similarities to Eau de Cedre, although that one is a lot sweeter. Its a soft, gentle, melancholic scent that any fan of dry woods would appreciate. One must like the smell of iso e, though.

Green woody and floral, Magnolia scent shines in this perfume. It is a beautiful green fresh scent with sweet notes from Magnolia and amber. Very elegant. It doesn't Project well. I am on the fence. I have a 10 ml mi and considering a full bottle. Not sure yet, even though this scent is lovely I still resent the lack of projection...

Very plain, norlimbanol is overwhelmingly present from the start, not very well blended, all in all a boring scent

Where is vetiver? Its super light skin scent. I font get it. Another 13 is way interesting.

Best Vetiver, smooth and easy to wear.
