Chopin OP. 25

The wonderful smell of a pine forest. Really, only a few competitors have managed to come close. Beautiful scent, I breathe it as if I were in the mountains, it's wonderful. We also have perfectly reproduced moss and generally woody notes. I know that this fragrance was created by real enthusiasts, but the parameters are simply poor... or to put it another way - individual batches differ quite significantly. My bottle is already four years old, it has really good longevity and projection, I'm sipping it slowly because in 2022 the next batches started having problems with the parameters of this fragrance. However, I would buy it anyway, currently I would only pay 40% of its original price. Just for the sake of contact with the smell of this wonderful forest, this resin, moss... you can spray it on yourself and contemplate the beauty of nature while sitting in a rocking chair. And then... let's listen to music, during this journey. No, it doesn't have to be Chopin. Sibelius fits this perfectly... yes, that's Him.You can also introduce a new quality, put it on during the holidays... and pretend to be a Christmas tree.😁 But seriously - it's worth it, just for the contact with such beautifully reproduced main notes. Merry Christmas...

It's a pine tree forest scent residing on a classic base. I wouldn't call it heavy - to my nose it is a fresh and dry fragrance, like a cheerful friend of Lalique Encre Noire. Whereas Encre Noire is a wet, foggy oakmoss and soil, Chopin op. 25 is slightly dewy pine trees in the morning sun. Absolutely beautiful and one of my favourite male fragrances. Definitely an all year rounder and a safe blind buy for men of all ages.

A beautiful peppery, dry woody scent that smells like a walk through a pine forest in the middle of a hot summer. Quite unique, and probably not for everybody. Got this as a gift for my boyfriend and I love it so much I keep wearing it myself, might have to get another bottle just for me.

It reminds me Encre L'Extreme very much although Chopin is a "happier" or easier version of Lalique. Very good, kind of formal. The price point is in Encre's favour and I would probably pick it over Chopin, but if both would be for grabs for the same cash I would be in a pickle.

90% dupe for Terrible Teddy by Penhalogon's . Chopin op.25 is more greener and reminds me of pine forest in the dry down . Still very pretty and worth testing out .Got it for my husband as he loves teddy by Penhaligon's and ofcourse he also loves this creation too .

#48 review Thats heavier frag for colder days. Well mixed nothing is harsh or synthetic in it. But i dont find it somthing WoW. My rate 6/10

This fragrance is all about black pepper and cedar. It is very dry. Dry down is papyrus. Opening is lsimilar to Jaguar Pace while dry down is silmilar to Bentley For Men Absolute.
