Lust Oud Delice

I purchased Long Kiss Goodnight the full size and on a whim I added the 7.5ml Lust Oud Delice because the name sounded like it would be a sexy oud that leaned gourmand because of the whole “delice”. I had never smelled anything from Chris Collins before blind buying these two things. I think we all know Chris is gorgeous but I was concerned about him starting a niche house but knowing he learned from Kilian was promising so excitement built then someone on YouTube had a visceral reaction to long kiss goodnight so that sent me straight to the website to order my full bottle and my little travel size.. I am floored. Like I am absolutely blown back against the wall can’t move that’s how knocked back I am by the force of these scents because WHAT. I love both so much that for a moment I couldn’t decide if I made the right call on which to get a big size of but I know I’d end up craving full bottles of both regardless of how the first purchase had went. Let me tell you.. chocolate and hazelnut aren’t easy notes for me. Hazelnut in fragrance is so hit or miss and Blanche Bete ruined alllllll chocolate nutty fragrances for me because something about the chocolate with laconic notes and that nutty nuance ends up smelling like spoiled rotten hazelnut milk on my skin and I can’t stand it I don’t even see how so many people love the fragrance. So I’m glad I didn’t know about the hazelnut and chocolate being in the scent before I got the travel because I would’ve probably chosen something else and really missed out. This is true to its name.. it’s so decadent and deep that it OOZES LUST! The dark chocolate mixed with that hazelnut and walnut but then that’s that dark Oud lingering in the background daring you to the dark side. It’s so good! This is only the second time that I’ve smelled a decant or sampling size of a fragrance and upon first sniff decided I needed a full bottle immediately and with this baby I know I want more. I have a good amount with the 7.5ml but I don’t care I need the full bottle because this is magic. It shows me that dark chocolate can be good and it can smell exactly like rich dark chocolate and actually be delicious. You can smell that hazelnut and walnut too like the blend of the nuttiness on a bed of Oud with dark chocolate drizzle all over it is intoxicating. I feel like I need to smell more from Mr Collins because the bottles are beautiful and weighted with beautiful packaging and so far from the two fragrances I’ve smelled.. this man is a genius because both scents are so different and so niche from the complexity to the quality like this man didn’t go cheap on any single detail at all so you’re paying good prices for something that easily smells like it should cost more. More people really should be talking about this man and these scents because he’s got a talent for this.. lust Oud Delice smells like nothing I’ve ever smelled before it’s a masterpiece for the senses. Ladies this is something you and your man will fight over because it’s truly genderless.. I would love for my man to come to bed smelling like this.. I would go from being tired to being wide awake and ravenous.

Lust is quite possibly the greatest gourmand fragrance I have ever smelled. I'm usually not one who enjoys the smell of chocolate, or dessert-like smells in their fragrances, but this is one of the most masterful blends of chocolate, hazelnut, and oud ever crafted. I own seven other Chris Collins fragrances, and this is definitely in the top three. Upon first spray you immediately get a very creamy and rich dark chocolate note. It isn't too "in your face," which I usually find is the problem with chocolate scents; they become cloying or suffocating. Chris Collins has used orris in five of his other fragrances, and he knocks it out of the park each time. The orris, Agarwood, and Sandalwood give Lust this luxurious and decadent aroma. During the dry-down, the nutty notes emerge and the fragrance becomes absolutely intoxicating. If someone were to describe someone as smelling "delicious" while wearing Lust, it wouldn't be an exaggeration. This fragrance has outstanding longevity and projection. I've sprayed it at night before going out, gone to bed, and I could easily identify it on my skin the next morning. It's definitely a fragrance that will have people turning their heads in your direction and asking you what you're wearing, in the best possible way. I can absolutely see why Mr. Collins named this fragrance "Lust," because it is the perfect date night scent. It is also perfectly unisex; it doesn't lean more masculine or feminine. My one word of caution about this fragrance is to be careful who you wear it around, because there is a high chance you could be expecting an addition to your life in nine months time. ;)

A wonderful surprise even for those of us who don't seek out gourmand scents. Cocoa powder that coats the palate like the first bite of a marzipan potato dessert, but with a minimum of unnecessary sweetness, a beautifully tuned non-cloying experience that is juicy with infused alcohol (applause for the beautifully smooth apricot brandy behind the scenes) accompanied by orange blossom, dry hay and a subtle herbalism not unlike a warm immortelle accord that beautifully blends with a warm touch of cocoa. Then everything goes into a suity corporate-tuned finish with a slight of naughtyness by soft brown suede with low hair, damp tobacco and musk of still warm leather accessories just stripped directly from the body... just the right lusty drydown. 245 Euro for 50 ml is huge overkill, but...this is close to masterpiece and for sure significant scent. Can someone give a tip for a better buy with shipping within the EU please?

Alright, you guys got me to spend $40 for a travel size blind buy of Lust Oud Delice. My expectations were high. I've only worn it once, and, so far, y'all were RIGHT. This is a fragrance and a half. Chocolate and coffee, but mainly cherry tobacco, specifically, Borkum Riff cherry tobacco from the early 1980s, which my dad smoked in a pipe. This fragrance lasts longer than my parents marriage, and longer than the smell of that tobacco did in the carpet of my childhood home. Sweet, androgynous, definitely addictive, and nostalgic for those of us with daddy issues.

This has to be my favorite from his house, African Roobios is a close second. The chocolate opening is amazing! There is that slight Carmex smell from the cypriol but it’s so wonderful smelling in this blend. The longevity is great 6-8 hours on skin and more on clothes. This is such an amazing fall and winter perfume! But i suggest you sample first. The Oud in here is very mild and non animalic at all. Strongest notes are chocolate, cypriol and sandalwood ( adds a creaminess)

This perfume smells slutty but in the best way possible way. We’re talking high class. Fancy after the benevolent gentleman fixed her up with that elegant New York townhouse flat. The notes blend together to create the most seductive scent that is borderline lewd. It has the decadence of a dessert that is almost too rich to eat. My husband cannot keep his hands off of me when I wear this. Despite the high class escort vibe, it would also smell intoxicating on a man.

This is the most stunning and sophisticated gourmand fragrance I've come across. I just splurged on a bottle because I demolished the 1ml sample I had. While there are are gorgeous nutty and chocolate-y top notes, this is truly an orris fragrance. It's chalky, warm, and super cozy. I think the oud is quite subtle, but adds depth. I really find this fragrance addictive, with excellent longevity and projection.

Oh Man! The dry-down on skin is so good. So dark! The chocolate and nutty notes really come out in the dry down, which was unexpected as they are listed in the first notes. At first spray, this is all oud and orris, but on dry down, it's deep, nutty, chocolate, with oud and orris rounding it out. This is on my list for a Full Bottle. The travel I currently own will not last long.

This is amazingly good. Similar "Chocolate/Iris" fragrances for comparison are Carolina Herrera Iris Empire, House of Dastan Love Flame and Hellenist Les Bras de Morphée. I absolutely love this scent profile. I have all of these and they are all very good, but honestly, I think Lust Oud Delice is the best. 9.5/10 and a Fragrantica score of 4.55 from me.

This is pretty amazing at first sniff. I got dry cacao powder and nuts from the start and it is beautifully delicious. I keep smelling my hand over and over. It's addictive. I get the smoothness of the orris and Sandalwood with a sweet undertone. This a morphing fragrance with every transition as beautiful as the last. Full and backup bottle worthy.

Holy. My decant just came in and it smells AMAZING on my skin. First hour and a half has very very nice projection, multiple compliments gotten and questioned what I have on. Its a beautiful rich dark chocolate with that hazelnut underneath. It's amazing. I would highly recommend if you want a rich dark chocolate gourmand.

One of my top five frags out of about six hundred. I'm a sucker for oud and this is such a beautiful smooth oud. I'm an even bigger sucker for chocolate and cacao. This is heaven. Sidenote, my husband absolutely hates it. He's a freshie lover... eeeeww

One of the sexiest chocolate and iris fragrances. Stunningly rich and bold with a soft edge. This is the kinda fragrance that truly seduces. It lingers almost flirtatiously to enchant those around you. Just WOW 🤩

This is a grown gourmand Like a guy who has a clean apartment, a swing in his room and will kiss you from the base of your neck down your spine. Soft and freaky. So good dude!!!!

It's SO good I can't even describe it, one of the only fragrances I call a 10/10, but it's 4.5 dollars a milliliter :( I just can't justify 225 for a 50ml I'm so sad

Nice gourmand opening. I personally get some coffee notes. I like the dry down. Minimal Oud impact but very wearable and pleasant.

Opens with a camphorous, cocoa-dusted blast of (rather masculine!) patchouli. That 'cold,' almost mentholated type of patch that somehow still has a dustiness to it, and dry cocoa powder (not sweet at ALL). I also get a lot of 2 categories that are woven so tightly together I can only smell then as type of scent vs individual notes: warm, dry spices that hint at sweetness but don't get there, and very aromatic woody musks. I'm thinking the warm spices are the benzoin (slightly vanillic) and 'nuts', though it seems more like nutMEG resinous, warm vanilla to me. The 'dry woods' must be the nagarmotha/oud blend. While the 'cold' patch/cocoa dominates the opening (MASCULINE and really does remind me of A*men), the 2+ hour drydown is more unisex. I get warm spices (nutmeg??, the vanilla-ish benzoin) and a more gentle woody musk... like an old wooden box you kept dried spices in, everything is more calm now and wearable (for me, female). This stage reminds me of the spice aspects of Lutens Arabie (sweeter?) and Parfum'd Empire's Aziyade (more cumin!), though it's been a long time since I smelled either so take that with a grain of salt. I have a full -5 spray SB decant if anyone wants it (trade?); overall a bit too manly for me. Cheers! 1.5.25

I wanted to love this fragrance. I wanted to be wowed. At the end of the day, however, I was left disappointed. Yes the dark chocolate and hazelnut are very prominent when it's first applied. While pleasant, that's where it ended for me. I smelled little of anything else beyond the opening of chocolate and hazelnut. All the other listed notes never came to me. My girlfriend likes it, so I gave it to her. For me, it fell short of expectations. More money doesn't always mean better. Of the 6 Chris Collins fragrance I own, I would rank this #5. More versatile than Autumn Rhythm but doesn't compete with Danse Sauvage, African Rooibos, Vide Cor Meum, and Oud Galore. Maybe it needs some maceration.

A great chocolate fragrance. Equal parts creamy and powdery, equal parts dark and milk chocolate. I honestly don’t get much hazelnut or oud, it is just chocolatey for me. Though it is pretty simple, it still isn’t boring. It feels rounded and whole. 8.2/10

This smells like chocolate, walnuts and dish soap. The chocolate is delightful, the soapy dry down, not so much.

This is a challenging fragrance for me. It opens with a pungent punch that quickly fades into a deeply earthy aroma and sharp oud. I don't care for it, and may never, but I'm keeping my sample because there's something interesting about it. Something that tells me that it might be ahead of me. This is a scent that could expand my taste and appreciation of the artform. I look forward to revisiting it in fall 2026.

WAIT for a second, do I smell chocolate? I think I smell something I have had before? The oud, coffee, cocoa, the sweetness, the gourmand feel...I am feeling A'Men! Anywho, a really nice fragrance with a sweet nuttiness and cocoa that is right up front! A dark almost mysterious fragrance that is very gourmand. When first sprayed, you are slapped in the face with lots of chocolate, followed by some sweet spice, Agarwood (Oud) and Benzoin. Once the drydown begins to take shape, you are left with a nice, sweet slightly oud, more amberish gourmand concoction that has been blended very well. This fragrance leans masculine, however anyone can wear this. Have now added this to the collection, although, hands down African Rooibos is the Cadillac of this brand, in my opinion :). [So, I brought home a sample card to smell. Asked my wife to give it a sniff to see what she thinks. Immediately she says, "I like it, you've had that before!" I said, what do you mean? She says, "it smells like...A'Men by Theirry Mugler."] Performance: 8.5/10 Longevity: 7.5/10 Sillage: 8/10 Projection:8/10 Overall: 8/10

I’ve been eyeing this one for the last year and a half hoping for something similar to Valentino Uomo edt. At first i was very disappointed, the Iris is a supporting note and blended so it didn’t have that powdery buttery magic I was looking for. However, I had a 2ml decant so I wasn’t not going to use it. Half way through my decant this one finally clicked. Opens a nice dark, woody and nutty burnt caramel with tootsie roll nuances. As it settles, it smooths out further and the Iris gives texture. A bit of powder, but the butteriness really compliments the nutty notes just like in Valentino Uomo. Honestly, this just smells like fall. Theres maybe a candle association if you’re looking for it, but to me it just comes off as opulent rich and happy. There’s a bit of a patchouli accord in here probably from the Cypriol and musk, but it just kind of brings it all together. If you’re looking for a fall evening stunner that can be dressed up or worn snuggled up in bed on a crisp fall evening, this one is a must try.

Tried this a second time after a few months. This time around I didn't detect as much of the musk or orris as I did originally. Instead I detected more sweetness. It still wasn't exactly chocolately, and I didn't smell chocolate the first time around either, but this time the nuttiness came through a bit more in the opening and then the drydown was fairly vanillic. The opening was intensely woody, which was rounded out by some nuttiness. It was a way lovelier experience for me this second time than it was the first time around. Originally, the woody aspects smelled drier and smokier. A bit of the gravity remains, but the composition smells fuller and a touch warmer now. The longevity isn't anything to write home about. Within 3-4 hours my arm just smelled vanillic sweet—which I quite enjoy, thankfully.

I cannot, for the life of me stop smelling this scent. It’s addictive and I think it’s because it’s so nuanced! I will say this scent is BEAST MODE. Not for the shy or faint of heart. It also leans very masculine. I’m amazed at this perfumer’s ability to bring out facets of notes such as chocolate and hazelnut that are so rarely used. This scent is decadent but not sweet. It’s luxurious! It smells like you’re in a smoking room and you’re smelling the inside of a cigar case (not in a tobacco sense but in the sense of smelling a scent that has faded.) This scent is wonderful and if I smelled a man wearing it I think I’d fall in love with him.

I'm incredibly sensitive to wood notes and found them particularly overpowering in this fragrance. The chocolate notes never showed up on skin or on paper. There is a nutty quality to the woody notes, but I don't think I would have been able to decipher that without looking at the notes. Cypriol, musk, and the oudy-sandalwood combo is really all that I smell here. It's quite devastating because I am a chocolate-fragrance lover so I feel very heartbroken that the chocolate never came through well for me.

If you're looking for a replacement for Mugler's Angel Muse, I would not recommend this as it's nowhere near as decadent and does not smell like nutella. If, however, you're looking for an unsweetened dark cacao, slightly nutty, harmless oud- then Lust Oud Delice is good. The first few minutes are quite sexy but unfortunately my skin ramps up cypriol notes so this dries down overly earthy/soil-y on me.

I can't stop sniffing this on my hand...phenomenal blend here. This is 'grown folk sexy'!! Boozy, resinous, chocolatey, and nutty creamy sandalwood. This might be my favorite CC to date!

This reminds me of Otro Parisi's Boccanera, likely cause of the chocolate note. Good scent, definetly better in colder weather.

This is different than anything in my collection. I'm getting spicy chocolate and black walnut. Stunning
