Bazar pour Homme

To be completely honest about this one, I picked it up for kind of a silly reason. The Christian Lacroix brand is brought up time and time again in one of my favorite British TV comedies "Absolutely Fabulous." The main character Eddie (Jennifer Saunders) is rather eccentric, and very much about physical things. Always surrounded by high end fashion, celebrities, and her home decoration that is always changing between seasons of the show. One thing that Eddie makes very clear is that she likes any and all things Lacroix. Always fabulous if it's Lacroix, and when it comes to this fragrance, I have to say I agree with her. It is a fantastic blue that is great for use all spring and summer long.

One of my favorite "Blues". I have a ton of them, and they smell pretty much the same to my nose, but not this one. I really like the smell here. Its soo fresh and pleasant. Not the best of preformance, but then again...I paid $5 for 30ml

Beautiful perfume for man Well designed bottle

It is fresh scent and it's kinda light, but it turns bitter on me after the first 5-10 minutes. It must be the combination of fir and other woodsy note. After about an hour, the scent gets better with sweeter amber (later turns vanilla'ish) scent and deeper woodsy note and a bit fruity still. Not so bad after all, but it's still not my favorite of this group.

Very weak & watery,basically just coloured water.Lasts about a few minutes on skin,if you're lucky.I've tried better kids perfumes,this is a total waste of money.Avoid !

I got a rather large decant/rollerball of this as a gift from my good friend Gypsy Perfumista! I don't know much about this house, i'll have to do some more research. This is, however rather impressive, although i can't help but think it smells exactly like something else i own! (i'll have to edit this when i find out what, i have a few in mind). Mr. Gypsy brought this in hopes that it wouldn't bother my boyfriends allergies (synthetic fragrances hate him with a passion), and i'll be damned, he was fine with this one. I don't think i'll be getting him to wear it any time soon, but what the hell. At least Perfumista is assisting in my search! This scent preforms well, and starts off sticky sweet with a notable woody-ness right from the get go. A very soft hint of lavender leads you quickly into the more 80's style base notes dry-down, very nice! The top: On first application this creation lets out a very strong rush of honeydew melons, but more so the very sweet watery meat towards the center, raw and glucose-y, this note is undoubtedly the "leader" note in which all other notes in the composition pledge allegiance to. Also in the top notes, you'll find the very smooth lavender note. It's not like just SMELLING lavender, i would describe it as a lingering lavender smell, as if someone has some sitting in the room. Not too much, which is good,but, not so quiet that one needs to sniff and sniff and sniff to find it. Buried grapefruit rind resides in limbo between the top and the middle. The middle: This is where the scent contains most of it's spicy-savory properties. The notes contained in the heart of this fragrance are what really keep it from smelling "cheap" or "generic". I get a very resonating savory semi-sweetness from the fir resin. Although, oddly enough it isn't reminiscent of Christmas smells one bit. There is also a decent dose of nutty-dull spices coming from our friend caraway, cumins powdery brother. The base: I wouldn't say that the amber note listed in this is correct. To me, it is ambergris, further suggesting of the fragrances aquatic-cicity. Ambergris to me, is benzoin crystals beach living bathing only in the sea, cousin. Sandalwood is here, again, furthering the notion that this is an aquatic, with it's wood/salt/rotting sea vegetation accords(whisper of green in this one. Oakmoss is the main note that binds this to earth, not allowing it to become flighty. Ritalin-esque in very sweet scents. Very slightly dead/green, and moist/earthy. EDIT: Does anyone else find that this smells VERY similar to Bvlgari Aqva? I approve Smell: 8.5 Longevity: 6.5 Sillage: 7

I have really enjoyed wearing Bazar pour Homme, so much so that I've worn it twice. There's something really enticing about the combination of lavender with citrus accords. As a woman, I am often impressed whenever a man wears a fragrance with a good dose of lavender. Despite its soothing feel, it's also very masculine and in some ways, sexy. Bazar pour Homme opens with a sharp, zesty burst of grapefruit and a crisp, herbaceous lavender accord. At first it smells very fresh and invigorating on the skin, like something best suited to Spring and Summer. Once settled, Bazar pour Homme becomes much smoother with a hint of creamy sandalwood and fir. Perhaps my nose is playing tricks on me, but I swear I can detect a subtle hint of cinnamon somewhere in this fragrance's composition. It tends to smell rather warm and sweet after a while, making it an excellent choice for all seasons. I don't know whether or not this fragrance and its female counterpart, Bazar pour Femme have been discontinued indefinitely. While they're not easy fragrances to find, I do occasionally stumble upon them in duty free stores and small pharmacies from time to time. While Bazar pour Homme is not as original as Bazar pour Femme, I love them both equally. Despite being marketed for men, I find this fragrance easily unisex and urge any woman to try it. Other than smelling fantastic, extra bonuses include incredible longevity and moderate sillage.

Doesn't smells like a Bazar, it's too clean, modern and artificial. This scent came out over 20 years ago, I am surprise they are still selling it! I quite like it, it's not the usual brash male fragrance - this one smells androgynous. I wore it once to the Casino with a group of friends from Switzerland, France and Germany. We were all broke and lived in a youth hostel, but we dressed up wearing all black in our best attire and fragrance - pretending that we are some high rollers. I don't know why I chose this fragrance, I think it's a sample bottle - now this scent will forever reminds me of that wonderful evening.

My poor interpretation : grapefruit + pine tree resin + honeysuckle There is pine-tree-like stimulation which attacks my nose. This doesn't have heavy basenote. At last, all scents faded away and a cucumber-like scent has been left. You can't anticipate something like Lacroix's haute-couture in this fragrance but American designers' one. Very light, very watery, good for summer.

I bought this perfume online and it was sold as pour femme. The image was too small to discern that it was, in fact, pour homme. Oh, how I love this perfume! It is a hard to find true aquatic with a complexity that is just enchanting. My skin chemistry must be such that the longevity and sillage are both perfect. I am going to wear this perfume for the rest of my life!

Modern, dynamic, full of energy, sheer and benign, but more distinct than most of the fragrances from this scent group. Lacks baroque adornments usually associated with Christian Lacroix. For modern, active men. Like its female version, it's a good idea for a present.

Quite nice: blue, airy, summery, little strange. Nothing spectaculair, but an office/publictransport-safe and fresh scent, perfect for (late) spring and early autumn. Nice bottle and packaging, If not too expensive, would buy it again.

Yup. Cheap like Bulgaria aqua line. Waste
