Fétiche Lavande

Wowwww this is amazing. My first purchase of 2026 and we’re kicking it off strong. I have never been much of a fan of lavender, but I am a fiend for a good leather perfume and this one hits the spot. I am all up for people wearing what they want to wear, but this definitely leans masculine, so be warned. This is a classic ‘men’s cologne’ made sexy - a blast of aromatic fougere-yness with a strong underlying oudy, slightly rubbery leather. In a strange way this reminds me of Oud Maracuja by MC, but they are definitely two completely separate scents - one doesn’t make the other redundant, however I personally prefer this over OM. Also, it is worth mentioning that this is the most interesting looking bottle in my collection. I am very satisfied with this perfume, however I will say it is definitely a hefty price tag. Scent - 8.7/10 Performance - 7.0/10 Value - 6.5/10 Mass appealing factor - 4.5/10 I personally love it. Definitely not for everyone, and NOT a safe blind buy, but I am very happy. What a great little perfume.

You vaguely recall being a film noir starlet in another life. You were an accessory to murder 4 weeks ago but are so far getting away with it.

I’ve often read about certain fragrances being described as sexy and I never really understood. After testing Fétiche Lavande, I understood.

I hated this at first. The lavender was too soapy, too shampoo-ey. But after about 10 minutes that black leather took over, and it blew me away. Now I thoroughly understand why it's called "Fetiche". This is not a smooth leather, either. It's a rough, loud one. The middle and dry down are more powdery although still leathery, almost like a irises wrapped in cowhide (as opposed to being inside a nice leather bag). I love it. Granted, I am a sucker for leather. I welcome that dangerous darkness- dangerous in the sense that I'm never really sure how others will react to it. In fact, I suspect most people might be put off by it, and they'll think that I stink, which is the ultimate insult for us fragheads. But I'll take that risk. Needless to say, this is not a safe blind buy. It's weird and outside the box, and I love it. It's perfect for a date night, especially on cold night.

The opening 45 or so minutes are a nice lavender but then morphs into a raw and rubbery leather. Has a bit of an oud and also cannabis vibe on my skin. It's not bad, but I can understand why it's controversial. It's outside of the box and comfort zone for some. I'm not interested in buying it, but if it was gifted to me, I wouldn't disregard it.
