Fétiche L’Ébène

This is my favorite from this house! I have Fetiche La Rose as well; it is a close second, but this one is just perfect! I absolutely love this fragrance. If you want something different and truly unique that is a bit dark and mysterious...get it!

Second best in the collection for me, after L'Ambre (though I've yet to try Lavande and Santal). Simple yet super likable, ultra modern, inoffensive. It paints a vivid picture: driftwood, cool coastal air against skin warm from tropical sun, tang of salt left on skin, solitude far from civilisation. Marine like watery rather than coconut water to me, although it has a slight sweetness and feels both salty and faintly oily. It settles into something almost like smooth leather with a dark driftwood undertone. It is leaning slightly masculine but i would happily wear it even though my tastes usually favour more overly feminine scents. Compared to others in the collection it is more subtle, close to skin. 7/10

From the Fetiche discovery set: This one's getting some flack but I honestly quite like this one. Its soapy, maybe a little sweet and warm spicy with tad of fruity tang in the opening... I'm having a hard time discerning the notes tbh. I do get some woods but not a lot really, and I can sense the coconut water which nicely smooths it out. Feels like a mix of masculine and feminine notes so I'd say its pretty unisex. Starts to get a bit darker with the drydown. This ones nice! Very pleasing scent that I'm enjoying tbh.

Opens up pretty sweet and woody with an ambery vibe, then the sweet coconut starts to come out but there’s still a watery refreshing quality. In the dry down I notice a slight sweet soapiness or floral vibe which is quite nice along with the spicy woody depth. It feels more suited for fall and winter.

Woody coconut. The dark ebony is loud and clear on initial spray before the coconut quickly takes over with its thick, fleshy sweetness. The cedar steadily picks up as it dries down, percolating through like sawdust, but there's little more to this scent than that. Moderate projection for 2-3hr, longevity 16hr+. Not especially similar to the Le Beau line, likely the first and most common coconut fragrance to pop in one's mind, which has more going on. The ebony is a minor component despite the fragrance taking its name.

This one is woody appropriate for fall winter. It’s ok for me, I don’t love it and don’t hate it

I'm so sad. I bought this directly from the brand website and...I'm not getting what everyone else is. Per the notes, it should be woody and dark with sweetness from the coconut but all I'm getting is sweet, aquatic AQUA DI GIO and my nose is usually pretty spot on. I took it to work to show the other team members and everyone agreed it smells almost exactly like the aforementioned. So disappointing.

Mr. Aventus has made some fragrances I really enjoy...and some I despise haha. Never once have I tried a Louboutin, as I believe most if not all lean too feminine for my taste, but I'd be interested in sampling this and all the others from the line. Gorgeous bottle btw!!

People must be hating on this because it’s louboutin or the bottle. This is a beautiful rich, dark and sweet nutty fragrance. It reminds me of This is her and Noir Exquis. I love coconut in a fragrance that doesn’t go in a beachy or suntan lotion direction.

Fresh, moist and sweet in the top notes, and woody, dark in the heart and base, comfortable, projection which is not loud, but with a bright character, sensual. The direction is woody-oriental, unisex.
