Loubicharme

This is great perfumery, I love this. It's not the most original fragrance, I draw similarities to Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady/The Moon, Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomade, Maison Francis Kurkdjian Oud/Baccarat Rouge 540 (all of which are more expensive per ml than Loubicharme), however this is unique and does not smell too much like any of those. The best way I can describe this is that it smells like a cross between The Moon and Portrait of a Lady, minus the prominent oud note and less fruity. This smells expensive, it's very pleasing and accessible, but it isn't boring. Very well rounded, great performance, and considering the quality of the juice and the bottle in comparison to similar fragrances, it's priced ok. Overall, I highly recommend trying this fragrance, especially if you are a fan of the aforementioned fragrances.

Before stumbling upon Loubicharme, I associated CL and the red presentation with tackiness, having never been one to understand or appreciate fashion. But all that changed after testing Loubicharme. Love at first sniff, I immediately bought a full size bottle. I’ve never been a fan of rose scents, it’s just never been a note that I’m drawn to. But Loubicharme is not the typical sickeningly sweet rose jammy old lady heavy scent. Loubicharme is a masterpiece blend of beautifully smooth and delicate incense, layered in deep and elegant florals, with the perfect amount of earthy and sweet combined. I’m digging the red now. Side note - I agree with the BR 540 similarities, and I think anyone who likes that will probably appreciate Loubicharme in its own right.

Is my souvenir from Toronto. I was at Holt Renfrew, and a Lovely AS at Louboutin was so kind to me, she told me about all collection and at the end she gave me 3 samples, even I did bought nothing. And she asked what I would like the most. Is not normal, usually this salles treat us in a very snobby way. I would like to back there and buy this with her. The littles gifts from life.❤️🤗 I'm very grateful for all my fragrance journey, mostly because of that I travel , to have opportunity to know others fragrances that I don't have in my country. By the way is very amazing fragrance, I still have a little from my sample, very long lasting and beautiful ❤️

I was introduced to this fragrance around Christmas of 2021 and have since associated this as a winter/holiday scent. It is very potent and needs only a few sprays to leave an impression. This is a very rich warm rose geranium scent. It has a prickly dark green vibe to it from the geranium and settles into a lovely incense rose with leathery and gourmand facets. Truly an underrated fragrance and a worthwhile addition to the collection of anyone who appreciates dark, rich, leathery, gourmand notes.

I just received the sample. I love it , and I will be back with a honest review on Sillage and longevity. I'm very excited about Loubicharme. It's fresh, but you get winter sexy at the same time. It's Unisex and I'm here for Loubicharme.

Smoky, aromatic, sweet on the skin. I think this is quite the rose fragrance, especially if you enjoy rose in perfume. The incense gives you a big kiss in the opening and the rose and geranium follow. This rose is on the deeper end of the spectrum and the patchouli certainly places this there. This isn't a harsh patchouli for me personally, but I do agree with other reviews, this is not a safe blind buy and not the best option for enclosed spaces. This evokes sensuality, whether you're a man or woman. It's what mixing business with pleasure smells like.

This is extremely well done but a little unorginal and run of the mill. It opens with fresh rose but then turns to dark and spicy with the addition of patchouli and continues to intensify with time. The patchouli with the geranium smells a bit camphorous. It’s on the mature side. I find similarities to a number of other fragrances as well as Loubifunk and Loubiraj—they could be flankers if each other.

It's way overpriced but I got it as a gift. I got the three Egyptian bottles in the red box. It smells very rosy and spicy. I really like it because it doesn't fill the room. It's perfect for a summer night's date. Nobody would guess the price.

Very pleasant rose/incense fragrance. Not worth the retail price IMHO, and there are many rose fragrances I prefer over this one.

It's very warm and sweet. My husband loves it, he can smell it from feet away.

A not unfamiliar renaissance festival incense vibe Personal: 6.5/10 – I appreciate the sweet oriental base, but the rose sitting up front just isn’t my thing. Mass appeal: 6.5/10 – The sweetness and incense help, but rose-forward fragrances always divide people, especially when paired with patchouli. Performance: 8/10 – Solid longevity with moderate projection, which is expected from something resinous and somewhat earthy/green. Value: 5/10 – Louboutin pricing is steep, and this doesn’t feel unique enough to justify it. Uniqueness: 7/10 – Rose with sweet resins, incense, and patchouli isn’t unheard of, but the blend has character and brightness than similar formulas. SCORE: 66/100 Full bottle buy? NO, I definitely couldn't pull this one off. Blind buy? NO, rose and patchouli together should absolutely be tested first. Recommend? YES, if you enjoy rose-forward incense/resin fragrances. Date night? YES, warm and resinous enough for evening wear. Office safe? NO, the rose and incense combo are way too loud for close quarters. Pros: Sweet oriental warmth in drydown, nice incense vibe, and a surprisingly smooth resin base. Not noted, but also a bit of a soft fruit note as well. Cons: Rose dominates the opening, expensive, and not the easiest fragrance to pull off. Loubicharme is a fragrance that I feel like I should like more than I actually do. The base is right up my alley with warm resin from the frankincense and patchouli, which I often like, but this leans more into its rosiness than its resinous side. Similar fragrances, like a few from ELDO whose names escape me, focus more heavily on the incense, smoke, woods, and resins and just have the rose present but not dominant. This is the opposite, where the rose is at the forefront, and everything else exists to make the rose more bearable. The opening of Loubicharme is fine. The rose is loud, but not synthetic, so points there, and the resinous patchouli is present but not loud at all. As it dries down, the sweet, warm, oriental base opens up giving way to a fragrance that smells great on skin, but at the expense of the rose up front that I can't really deal with. If you enjoy rose and want something that's a very solid rose dominant winter fragrance that doesn't rely on sweet, synthetic syrupy white florals, then this is a fine option, though the price point is a bit prohibitive. It’s one of those fragrances that I appreciate more from a craftsmanship perspective than from a personal enjoyment perspective. Worth smelling, especially if you enjoy rosey incense renaissance fair-ey combinations, but for me it ends up being more of an interesting experience than something I would actually reach for. I would call this a typical rose patchouli. Bit of a hit of spices at the beginning, which get tamped down rather quickly by a jammy, wet rose and a surprisingly less-spicy-than-expected patchouli. In some ways, this is a more refined Rose Jam from Lush. When I smell it up close against my skin, I also get a soft honey note that's not unwelcome. I think this is done well, but you can probably find a fragrance that is just about as good at a better price point. It's not a profile I clamor for; it's pretty good, but not a love. 6.5/10.

Patchouli rose. Earthy floral scent, like a freshly dug-up garden. Sweet, green, dirty patchouli percolating with pink rose. The geranium boosts the rose and brightens it with a citronellic, almost medicinal, lemony freshness. Starts going in a powdery direction and loses the dirtiness as it dries down. Moderately strong projection for 3-4hr, longevity 10-12hr.

Whatever materials they used for the rose and geranium smell very much like raspberry in the opening before it turns more floral. Very similar to oud satin mood

I like it but I don’t love it, I don’t know what’s going on with CL house they need a new creator. We need a collection with only florals. This one is little similar to Red Roses JM but in a spicy 🌶 way. I will probably buy it more for the bottle and the juice

I bought a sample set and this was an instant scrubber for me. All I got was a sickly spicy sweetness for the few seconds I was able to tolerate it. I see that Oud Satin Mood is listed in the "reminds me of" section and it makes sense. Not only are they similar, but also two of the most repulsive fragrances I've ever smelled. The number one spot goes to Portrait of a Lady, so if you like these fragrances there is a good chance you will enjoy this one too. Not me. On a more positive note, I enjoy other scents in this line and bought a large size of Loubimar along with the sample set. The bottles are works of art, very beautiful.

This is a VERY nice perfume. The topnote is not so appealing to me but it quickly goes away and leaves room for a warm, rosy spicyness. The base is even more pleasurable with a woody, spicy, baby oil scent that lasts loong time. It is more evening than day but since the sillage is moderate it is very wearable. On my scandinavian skin the spicy/arabic/oud/tobacco scents tends to smell burnt but this is a good, spicy fragrance for me. Still thinks it is overpriced...

Very similar to Mizensir’s For Your Love. Loubicharme is a bit spicier. It’s a beautiful perfume. I don’t have the scarab bottle, I got a 1.7oz, but the bottle is just as heavy and I like the simpler top, too! Great projection and longevity. It transforms and becomes sweeter as you wear it. I got a discovery set of all perfumes and ended up at Loubicharme but I adore all others as well. Louboutin fragrances are under rated and maybe it’s a good thing!

I don’t get most of the reminds me section but it does have a similar Baccarat sweetness. It’s much sweeter than the notes would let on, almost syrupy. It’s a beautiful fragrance but I would like a bit more woodiness to round it out so I’ll probably layer it.
