Where do I start.... My boyfriend purchased this for me as I'm a lover of patchouli and tonka. The fragrance is amazing with great staying power. Its deep dark and amazingly sexy. The bottle and packaging is stunning and also doubles up as a burglar deterrent if you clobber them on the head with it. I get all the notes in it (all 3 of them) But especially the tonka wahoo. The only downfall is its a pricey little fellow so I couldn't have it as a signature scent although I'd love to. Its too gorgeous to save for only winter though.

There’s definitely a lot more notes than the 3 listed and this is 100% unisex leaning masculine. I think it suits a man a lot better than a women. This smells nothing like black afagano. It’s smells more like a rounded version of vinegia21 or Bouquet Ideale. Lightly smoke woods with a creamy vanilla and sandalwood undertone and a little bit of patchouli but not a dirty patchouli. This is sexy af especially on a man

Sweet woody and really intoxicating. Might very well be my favorite of this collection. Wish this miniature set would be a spray set and not a dab on one, but then again I probably wouldn’t get all the beautiful bottles. Got it for the bottles, btw. This is almost boozy somehow. Love it! It dry down to a beautiful strong cedar note. I truly miss my cedar fence!

It was a love at first sniff for me! I had to have this in my collection. You can tell that this is a high quality fragrance. It was the best out of the line in my opinion and the bottle just put it over the top. Just amazing! I highly recommend it.

Absolutely brilliant fragrance. Leans masculine to a creamy, woody hint of Tonka. This smells nothing like Black Afghano.

This is very warm and woody. The amber and patchouli is very rich and cozy. I really enjoy it.

A swing and a miss, surprisingly. Personal: 6.5/10 - Despite generally loving all present notes, something about the blending makes it come across as syrupy and dense, not quite what I wanted. Mass appeal: 7/10 – Approachable for a darker woody fragrance. The tonka makes it easy to enjoy without being overpoweringly woody or patchouli forward. Performance: 7/10 – Solid. It wears steadily and confidently without exploding off your skin. Value: 4/10 – Very expensive, and despite still smelling high quality, it isn't a steal at all. Uniqueness: 5/10 – Not groundbreaking and I actually feel the blending standard I hold Louboutin to slipped for this bottle in particular. It smells like a generic designer patchouli fragrance, though a reasonably high quality one. SCORE: 59/100 Full bottle buy? NO, I would never spend this kind of money for mediocrity. Blind buy? NO, dark woody resins can lean too heavy or dry for some people, and it's too expensive. Recommend? No, even if you're a fan of patchouli, I think you can skip over this one. Date night? YES, it's confident and mature, though it's not captivating compared to other Louboutin. Office safe? YES, applied moderately. It can get cloying fast though. Loubicrown takes much of what I expect from Louboutin's blending, and throws it out the window. It feels like a generic designer blend with particularly high quality smelling ingredients, but the blend just makes it feel like a particularly nice Guess release. Well, maybe a mediocre Dior release. It opens with an aggressively sweet/creamy patchouli note that's actually worsened by the dry, dusty cedarwood accord. Often a dry, dusty wood will add significantly to a fragrance, but I find that in this case, it just makes my nose itch. It evolves minimally, which I often forgive for Louboutin, but since the opening leaves much to be desired, I hoped those desires would be fulfilled by the drydown, and I was unfortunately disappointed by the, albeit expected, linearity. I don't dislike Louboutin for releasing this fragrance, I just feel like this is characteristically Puig, and it feels as if it was taken from the Paco Rabanne playbook. So I have the 9ml miniature set as I test out and see which one I will get a full bottle of. This is a highly pleasing scent. Very masculine leaning opening but more unisex dry down. A female could pull this off if she really wanted but this will be most captivating on a man. That's being said, again the DNA is not anything new, and I can't even say this version is best in class. This smells like soooo many middle eastern fragrances I've smelled. The opening is bright, not citrusy but almost slightly fruity, but then it settles into a warm oud, woody scent. Its very reminicent of commodity mlk bold. Deff less sweet and no marshmallow but a creamy well blended deep woody scent. I'm very sensitive to oud so I smell it, even thought it's not in the notes. When I watched ATH's review of this on YouTube, he said that the mix of woods and resins gives the fragrance an oud accord and I was like yeesss. Lol! Anyway, it's a well done Unisex, very masculine leaning fragrance. But I wouldn't pay this amount of money for this DNA when you can get this exact same scent and quality elsewhere for a fraction of the price. Everything is well blended and smooth. However the cost for this isn't neccesary, especially when the lasting power and projection isn't that impressive. CHEERS!

This fragrance comes off super smoky somehow to my nose. It reminds me of something and im not quite sure of what. It felt very masculine on me, so I would personally not buy this for me. Like many have already stated, this does have a note of oud somewhere in there. The longevity is a little lackluster but still sits great on skin. I know a few people who could absolutely wear this and would love it too.

Patchouli bomb. Warm, sweet, green, woody. The patchouli is loud and clear, in all its green earthy sweetness, backed by a dark cedar. The tonka bean warms up the composition with a powdery vanillic touch and faint tobacco accord. A hint of spice comes in as a skin scent too, but maybe that's also the tonka. Moderately soft projection settles to a personal scent bubble after 3-4hr, longevity 10-12hr.

Just not giving me anything in depth or exciting. Wish these brands would use more real materials like cedar and patchouli as it is very abundantly available and not hard to source. Comes off flat to my nose

It’s one of my favorite from the line and planning to buy it. It’s really creamy I love that the patchouli is not light I can really smell the cedarwood

Wonderful for half an hour after which it settles into a standard chemical wood base (probably ambrocenide or similar). Pass.

Definitely leans masculine, and the bottle is not necessarily feminine either. I think this is awesome for a stylish dude who likes strong oriental fragrances. Definitely an oud-type fragrance very similar in style to something like Gucci Intense Oud or Ex Nihilo Amber Sky. It's definitely a high quality fragrance, and everyone feels the need to comment on it without me even bringing it up. Opinions are totally split. Some love it and some hate it. It's not like I've never smelled something like this before, it just gets the job done in a very high quality and smooth fashion. I say if you have $300 that you are planning on spending on a Tom Ford or Creed fragrance, definitely make sure to sample this one before you splurge on something from those other brands.

There’s much more than just cedar, patchouli, and tonka in this gorgeous fragrance. From the CL website, there’s also “grapefruit wood”, “a spice”, and “smoky and leathery cypriol”. I really love this fragrance. The patchouli is deep and earthy without going chocolatey, as some do, and it’s perfectly balanced with a big dose of sweet, vanillic tonka. The grapefruit wood gives it an aromatic lift that keeps it from being too heavy. It leans masculine, and I prefer feminine leaning fragrances, but I love it anyway.

Woah this is a strong one! Honestly felt like it was burning my nose. Had to try and scrub it off in the shower but this was not going anywhere... I can still catch the odd whiff a day later. Had it not been so intense, I may have enjoyed the fragrance - definitely one for crisp autumn days... But IMO its already been done by Kerosene in Copper Skies.

Smells absolutely nothing like black afgano. If afgano grew a vagina, took the cannabis and smoky notes away and shaved said vagina with vanilla scented cream then we have loubicrown. Theres something really sexy about this one I gotta say. Totally unisex too and i smell a slight oud funk right in the opening. Smells way too complex to be 3 notes.

I had the pleasure of smelling this and OMG! I have a small sample that I protect with everything because EVERYTIME I let someone smell it they try to keep it! This smells like something royal people wear in castles, nothing smells like this at all! I probably wouldn't be able to afford a woman who smells like this lmao!!!
