Really fantastic fruity floral fragrance without the dreaded sickening sweet grape note so over present in many recent floral releases. This fragrance opens with a tart pineapple cassis combo that could be reminiscent of Aventus, but without feeling in your face. There’s a well rounded bright citrus that leads down into the rose. This is no vintage rose, it’s modern and youthful without feeling artificial or naive. I don’t get patchouli in the drydown, to me it is heavy on the laundry musks. It feels like a never ending dryer sheet of vibrant florals and rich musks. My only downside here is the musk can almost become a bit noisy or headache inducing if you’re in close quarters. Overall, this is a very solid, original fragrance and definitely a safe blind buy.

This is definitely fruity and floral, but not overly sweet. I really enjoy it!

Personal: 7/10 – I wouldn't reach for it. Nonetheless, I like the intense fruity opening smoothed out by the 'dark' rose (from the patchouli influence). Mass appeal: 7.5/10 – Fruity florals are always a safe bet. Patchouli is divisive, but it's well masked. Performance: 6/10 - Typical longevity from a fruity floral, despite the depth offered by patchouli. Value: 4.5/10 – Louboutin pricing is silly for something that's another high-end fruity floral frag. Uniqueness: 6/10 - The DNA is nothing new, though black currant is somewhat unique. SCORE: 62/100 Full bottle buy? NO, fun but redundant and overpriced. Blind buy? YES, fruity florals are safe, and this one is a very simple example of them. Recommend? YES, if you like girly, sweet florals, in a super flashy bottle. Date night? YES, fun and playful, perfect for casual dates. Office safe? NO, despite the fruity floral DNA, this one is a bit heavier than most. Pros: Juicy, fun, deep, and playful. Well-blended and easy to enjoy. Bottle is awesome. Cons: Too generic for the price. Leans heavily on the black currant for depth. Despite the somewhat unique, bright, fruity, floral opening, the drydown is mediocre. It dries to a deeper, but still uninteresting, dark sweet rose and patchouli. I don't find it particularly interesting, nor do I particularly like it for the price, but there's something uniquely pleasant about this fragrance as opposed to other fruity florals. Maybe because this one DOES lean into a deeper, darker tone rather than the overly bright and girly tone most of these DNAs take. This feels more mature, cleaned up, and refined as opposed to other similar bottles. It's fun, it's sweet, but it's also dark and polished. Not my favorite, but it very well could be yours. The perfume equivalent of a red sole. Some have said it’s a basic rose scent, but it’s a basic rose scent that’s been done to perfection. The black currant blends with the Turkish rose to elevate it to something that’s been expertly formulated. It is a definitively rose fragrance and so it naturally leans feminine, but that shouldn’t stop men from smelling like a very expensive bouquet, either. As a man wearing it, it is by far my most complimented fragrance, and I’ve received compliments from both genders nearly every time I’ve worn it. Overpriced? Perhaps, but this is a glowing example of getting what you pay for. Purchasing this rather than a middle-of-the-line fragrance is the difference between buying a pair of Louboutins versus painting the soles red on a pair of cheap Aldo shoes. Classic, elegant, timeless and perfect for year-round wear. This is the bottle that you reach for whenever you need a perfectly agreeable scent that will fit any occasion. Longevity and sillage are, like the fragrance itself, both remarkable. In five words or less: Expensive but worth it.

This isn’t as funky as other highly ripened fruity fragrances I’ve smelled. Ripe berries, black currants that are not rancid or spoiled. Fresh and moscato like. Rose that isn’t too red and concentrated but there with some sparkly juicy, slightly tart, fruity notes. Smells like Atelier Des Ors Pink me Up without the fizziness. Just pretty. Not worth the price though at all considering the performance and scent profile. It doesn’t disappear quickly on me, but it easily becomes overtaken by any aroma around. Low projection but not quite intimate. Gone in 5 hours.

This is a fun interpretation of rose. It's not groundbreaking, no, but I quite enjoyed sampling this. It's not listed as a note but as someone else previously mentioned, it opens with a tarte pineapple note. It gives the rose a bite that makes this interesting. Its an inoffensive option for someone who enjoys fruity rose/florals. I personally don't gravitate toward most fruity fragrances but I can absolutely praise the wonderful job done here as it's something I could wear and be happy in. It's a fragrance of positive and happy vibes, without a doubt.

I'm testing from a discovery set and this is the first in the box. On an initial spray I recognize LV DNA. It just has the same sweetness/elegance of Attrape-Reves but quickly goes into blackcurrant/rose. It reminded me instantly of YSL in love again and DIOR Rouge trafalgar (which I both love and have in my collection). This is the same profile. Yes, there is this expensive elegance, but is it unique? No. If gifted, I would definitely enjoy wearing, but noone gives me such expensive gifts :D

To my nose this smells like an airy pineapply, fruity mix with soft musks. It's sweet and slightly sour. I don't get much rose from this. It's not in the forefront. On my skin, it faded pretty quickly. Needs more strength. Smelled it at Nordstrom. Reminds me a bit of the fruity DNA of Tiziana Terenzi perfumes. Smell: 8 out of 10 Strength: 4 out of 10 Feminine For reference, I'm female.

Bright, fruity rose. Fresh, airy pink roses surrounded by the scent of crushed berries, at points smelling like strawberry or raspberry or grapes. Could be a muddled rose water drink. The patchouli base adds its signature sweetness in addition to a touch of earthy "funk." Drydown is a pleasantly soft rose. Moderate projection for 3-4hr, longevity 12hr+. A feminine-leaning fruity floral. The dirtiness of the patchouli needles into the scent profile just enough to be slightly offputting to me personally.

I've tried it recently from the samples that my friend gave to me. Well, it's TOO GENERIC. I thought I smelled Si EDP by Armani lol. It's not too long lasting at all, around 5 to 6 hours. I think if you love collecting luxury perfumes, it's okay for you. But it cost nearly 200usd for a daily use perfume, I dont. 200usd is better for some scents like Creed or maybe Tom Ford, Chanel Les Exclusifs, Frederic Malle.

Released in 2020 Loubifunk is a sturdy powerhouse of a shoulder pad fragrance. Classically feminine in a bold 80s way. This is a ladylike but loud combination of blackcurrant, rose and patchouli. I'm not a rose lover so I don't feel it's for me, but even then I can't say it's unique enough in its scent profile to warrant the hefty price tag.

Nice, airy, fresh rose&blackcurrent + light high quality Patchouli (same type as in Chanel). It is cute but you don’t need to pay so much to get same experience, get Tiffany Rose Gold.

This is very "Perfumey". A very basic rose accord with a slight urinal fruitiness. For their price point, i would say pass

I just received loubidoo and was so pleasantly surprised to love the bottle . I thought it was kitsch but no, it’s a piece of art instead. Heavy substantial well made. I had a sample of loubidoo and liked it as I love clean rose scents that make you smell right out of the shower. And that is exactly what it smells like. However I am now obsessed with LOUBIFUNK as I got a sample with purchase. I am ordering it today !!! It’s so fresh rosy and fruity with a hint of patchouli.... A little more elegant than loubidoo . It leans sour,sweet In the same vain but lounidoo but more of a “fruit rose- jouli “and doo is more of a fruity -woody rose. “Doo “smells like shampoo and “funk “smells like lotion but I mean that in the best way possible. I would wear doo in the day and funk out for dinner. But both can be worn all the time as a signature ... 100 % Still prefer loubidoo it’s super easy to wear. Childlike strawberry rose scent and this one is more elegant , classy ...mature ..

I really do like it and it works well with my other fragrances too. It’s a very well rounded fresh rose scent. Reminiscent of other fragrances with similar pyramids where rose is at the center and patchouli is at the base. I feel like there’s much more to it than the notes above. Nevertheless, a very well rounded spring/ summer fragrance. I don’t know about the price though! I bought this on a really good discount last fall knowing it would be a nice spring fragrance. Nothing new or extraordinary Just another fresh floral (sadly a dying category in this day and age) It is now August . And it’s been a stable throughout this year. Very good silage and projects well too.

I really like loubifunk it’s one of my favorite from the collection. I don’t think it smells like in love again YSL which I had years ago. It’s very floral and rosy.

Not for me. Rose, but quite mature, cold and heavy. Maybe for some occasions then you want to stay formal and keep distance from others.
