Loubihorse

My bottle arrived today. I was worried that the neroli might be too dominant for my personal taste, but it’s actually more of a summery vanilla. It’s an easy reach perfume with a luxury price tag. I can’t imagine many disliking it, but it may not be for someone looking for a louder and/or more unique fragrance. This is quite soft, but I’m hoping it will deepen as it sits a bit. When thinking of a comparison, it reminds me most of Sublime Vanille. As @Kots_Tanya said, there is a bit of Loubirouge in there as well. I know that I will thoroughly enjoy wearing this in summer. Oh, and the bottle is just gorgeous!

Oh My, just got this in the mail and I this is absolutely gorgeous. Its like a fresher sister of Loubirouge. The longer it sits and more vanilla comes out, yet its very refreshing, slightly woody and very enjoyable. So far I absolutely loved Loubirouge but happy to say this one is here to stay in my collection too. The bottle looks even more gorgeous in person, can wait to have it on my perfume tray. Such a perfect vanilla for summer. Also I see it on both men and women, its definitely perfect middle.

Almost unanimously deemed feminine (which has its merit), so men seem to be relatively unaware of its existence / not inclined to sample for that reason. However, this reminds me (almost a midpoint chimera) of both sublime vanille and.... "Fahrenheit 32"! More so in the opening - which is terrific by the way. They become more distant as they dry down. Even comparing side by side, they have many similarities with 32 having the cucumber/lotion edge and this having a touch more of sweetness from the vanilla and freshness from the neroli. As some have mentioned, the notes are somehow giving a salty aquatic accord (very light and similar in execution to Bleu Turquoise) which would lend itself useful in the summer. Ultimately, this becomes a skin scent all too quick, but would do wonders in intimate settings. Simple and interesting fragrance to say the least, and of course, one of the most beautiful bottles in the market for gifts/display. I don't think fragrances need layers of complexity to be good at what they do.

The first 20 minutes of Loubihorse is very animalic on my skin, kind of like the animalic opening of PMC Vanille de Tahiti. But once she dries down she becomes quite lovely. She reminds me of Creed Sublime Vanille but packs a bigger ‘perfumy’ punch. A classy & elegant scent that provides a beautiful blend of citrus and vanilla. Definitely a fragrance you can wear to a formal event on a nice spring day. I think you can also wear this during autumn. Can’t wait to explore her more.

Loubihorse has a really super cute bottle and I adore the seahorse motif, but the fragrance itself is vastly overrated and overpriced for what it is. It is just a basic vanilla pretty much and nothing more, nothing less. I could get the same thing from Laura Mercier for a whole lot less and a whole lot better smelling, too. I smelt some neroli at the beginning, but this disipated in less than 15 minutes and just turned into outright vanilla. It was a bit too sweet for my tastes as well. Some vetiver or something like that would have broken things up a bit more and made it a little more interesting. Perhaps some sandalwood and some jasmine, too. As it stands, it's nothing special. It can be worn on all occasions and in all seasons though, so it is very versatile! Sillage was moderate and so was wear time, clocking in at 5 hours on my skin. At this price, I would have wanted close to 9 hours or more of wear time. As it stands, I'd give Loubihorse by Christian Louboutin a 6.3/10.

Opening is great, I don't see how the votes got into Beraqmot when it very clear, especially on paper, that the opening is pink pepper. For the rest it is an okay perfume but definitely overpriced as you're very quickly left with pure vanilla. Not a very complex perfume, very disappointed that the opening note didnt stay longer bc that spice is beautiful at first

The notes are simple and straightforward, easy breezy, summer ! Wish this had more potency, it acts more like a body spray. I layer this with Loubimar , Loubirouge , or a creamy vanilla scent to give it more punch and longevity. The bottle is truly stunning, wish this had more performance. Definitely not a stand alone scent.

My daughters bought this one for my birthday and unfortunately it smells like loubirouge that I bought and returned because I didn’t like. So weird that they only have vanilla as common base note and they smell about 90% the same

I have Loubimar which I love it’s like a light version of Alien Mugler can’t wait to add this one to my collection if I love it

The opening was promising, but it soon faded into dull, unremarkable vanilla leftovers.

The best thing about this is the bottle. This smells like 2 expensive air freshers clashing while a faint 1 wick 2 oz citrus candle picked up at the gas station is in the background.

On my skin this pulls very salty from what is most likely benzoin. I get a distinct aquatic feel like I get from zoologist squid, but light and blended with the neroli and vanilla. Not my cup of tea but it may be for others. There is ZERO spice, I own and love Loubirouge this is not at all the same fragrance.

Meh, So many better options for cheaper. Smells like CK One and some Vanilla extract and maybe some pepper?. I don't know how long it lasts i wouldn't want to wear it Fine for all year round I guess but for the price there are so many better options.

The bottle is so stunningly gorgeous!!! But the notes don't match the scent at all. It is indeed a salty vanilla to my nose. Similar to Couleur Vanille by L'artisan with a little Celine Black Tie thrown in there as well.

Wow! At first look 👀 I thinking it’s have marine note depending on seahorse cap but after read notes it’s seems citrusy.i can waiting to brings it to my nose👍🏼

Can't wait tro try it, I need a Loubi-WOW perfume ❤️
