I searched during all of high school to find a sandalwood incense that smelled like this. Personal: 9.5/10 – Smooth, creamy sandalwood with sweet incense undertones. This is beautiful. Mass appeal: 9/10 – Soft woods and sweetness make this extremely likable and easy to enjoy. Performance: 7/10 – Solid longevity with okay projection, wish it was slightly better. Value: 6/10 – Louboutin pricing is steep, but if you enjoy Grand Soir, you HAVE to sample this. Uniqueness: 7.5/10 – Sweet sandalwood incense isn’t unheard of, but this execution is especially smooth. SCORE: 78/100 Full bottle buy? YES, it’s one of the nicest sandalwood fragrances I’ve smelled. Blind buy? YES, the price is steep, but honestly, I think anyone who likes sweet woods would love it. Recommend? YES, especially for anyone who enjoys sandalwood or resinous incense fragrances. Date night? YES, warm, smooth, and comforting without being too loud, ideal for close quarters. Office safe? YES, it’s refined and soft enough to work in almost every setting. Pros: Beautiful creamy sandalwood, smooth sweet resins, and an extremely refined overall blend. Cons: Expensive, and not particularly groundbreaking for the genre, linear, boring. Loubiprince is one of the nicest sandalwood fragrances I’ve ever smelled. It's got that typical, distinct sandalwood note that's smoothed out by the creamy, sweet tonka bean note. The florals are very, very quiet here and serve primarily as additional smoothness when paired with the tonka. Through the opening and mid it's very linear, simply being creamy sandalwood, but in the drydown the creaminess begins to subside, and you get a very pleasant, soft, luxurious sandalwood lingering. What this reminds me of most is Grand Soir, but smoothed out and refined in a way that focuses more heavily on sandalwood rather than amber. Grand Soir can sometimes feel a little heavy or syrupy depending on how it’s worn, and on my skin, the syrupy amber is LOUD, but Loubiprince stays lighter and creamier. The sweetness is present but it never becomes cloying, and the sandalwood remains the clear star of the show throughout the entire wear. There’s also a bit of nostalgia tied to this kind of scent for me. Back in high school I remember trying to find a sandalwood incense that smelled exactly like this, one that was smooth, creamy, warm, and slightly sweet without smelling harsh like most incense can. This fragrance captures that idea almost perfectly. It’s the kind of scent that feels calming and comforting rather than loud or boisterous, like Grand Soir. It’s not the most groundbreaking fragrance in the world, really, it's not groundbreaking at all. But it's everything I wanted from sandalwood, and I'm very, very happy to be smelling it. First Impression: Tested this tonight. If I had to pick a comparison, I suppose this is like whispers in the library but much better and stronger. Creamy and powder dusted Australian sandalwood that has decent performance. I have a decant of Givenchy Ambre Tiger and I don't think it's like that at all, and it's certainly not similar to Serge Lutens Ambre Sultan or DS Durga Amber Kiso 😂 If you're looking for a nice sandalwood that smells good, is versatile, and has a cool presentation, this fits the bill. It's not super niche insofar as it's not decadent, wild, or has radical transitions, but it's functional, classy, and well blended. ------------------------------------------------------ Scent 87/100

Smelt this since I received a sample from a friend. Smells lovely, sweet but not cloying masculinity, very versatile and perfect for a signature scent. cant pinpoint the notes exactly when smelling it but everything is harmonious and very well blended. honestly an amazing fragrance, id say even women could wear this. Its not anything wow and bit linear but because of how gd the scent is, it doesnt rlly matter. perfect sweetness tiny bit of smokiness. shame cant buy it because of the very high price point but it was good while it lasted, would be gd if a dupe was made. 9/10, if performance was bit bettter would be a 10. if anyone could find a similar scent for this at an affordable price let me know!

Wanted to try this because I really like Fanny Bal's work. The opening reminds me of Amouage Material. Settles into a nice sweet vanillic tonka that is kinda similar to Guerlain's Tonka Imperiale. I actually prefer this over the two. This one though, is not a great projector and last 3 hours max. Overall, nice but nothing special. Definitely not worth the high price, and I don't even particularly like this bottle design. Glad I only got a sample. Edit: The drydown is very addicting. In search for a discounted bottle for fall time. Update: Received my bottle. Performance is more beastly than intially tested. Very happy with the purchase.

I received this as a part of a gift with purchase when I purchased my full sized Loubidoo perfume. This is really nice. Maybe I should've gotten this instead! I've been loving unisex scents lately, this one is just so deep and sensual and bold. This could easily be worn by a man or a woman, granted that the occasion calls for it. This is definitely a nighttime perfume, not for the daytime and not for the faint of heart. Very vanillic and resinous all the way through. I like this a lot! It probably smells wonderful on a man. Has a simple, exotic scent but I don't see quite too often for either men or women's perfumes.

The bottles presentation is absolutely beautiful, the top is extremely heavy, and is a centerpiece! and the fragrance it self lingers around 4 feet, so the projection is definitely there! I get about 8 hours of active wear time on it, and my cloths soak it up for a little over a day and a half of being active, this fragrance in my opinion is a true unisex and is best to be worn in intimate settings, it does very well in colder weather and sits heavy on a winter coat! I am in love with the whole collection!

Resinous woods. Warm, powdery sandalwood forms the heart of this scent covered with ambery overtones. A little spicy, a little balsamic, a bit of a sweet tobacco accord from the tonka and a fairly linear drydown. Moderately strong initial projection becomes mostly noseblindness for 2-3hr, longevity 8-10hr. A bit more masculine-leaning than most of its brand siblings, which I assume is intentional given the name.

Sweet, vanilic, resinous, smokey tonka. There's this vanilic or benzoin quality throughout, pretty linear, but amazing nonetheless. Autumn winter scent, it's warm and cosy, sophisticated. Unisex, maybe bit feminine. Was expecting better performance based on reviews, but on me it's not great. I love that they make such sturdy bottles. Refillable would've been perfect. Big like.

I bought a decant of this and didn’t like it at first—it was an immediate no. But a few days later, I caught a whiff of my sweater that I’d sprayed with Loubiprince and absolutely loved the dry down. Two weeks later, I have a full bottle and can’t get enough of it. Beautiful scent, perfect for autumn.

What a gorgeous scent! I don't have anything like this in my collection but I also don't think it's that unique or complex. Husband and I picked this out while we were in Paris and we will both be sharing it so it's definitely unisex.

How lucky am i?!?! Received this today as a present from my boyfriend. Its beautiful. Sweet, spicy warm gorgeousness. I smell myrhh although its not listed but as a tonka fan I'm in looove. Happy days 👍👍🥰🥰☺☺☺

If you are a tonka fan, get this right now. I don't know what to do with myself while wearing this perfume. Amazing. Linear, mostly smoky Tonka.

Loubi Prince by Christian Louboutin strikes me as a fragrance driven more by atmosphere than sheer weight. On my skin, tonka is clearly the focus. It comes across warm, balsamic, and slightly resinous, deliberately avoiding vanilla sweetness, which keeps the scent elegant rather than gourmand. There’s a ceremonial quality to it that consistently gives me the image of a royal vizier. Richly dressed, composed, and authoritative without needing to project loudly. It smells expensive and refined, and it wears comfortably unisex. Still, despite how rich it smells, I find myself wishing for more density and staying power. The structure feels restrained, almost held back, which prevents it from fully delivering the grandeur it suggests. Autumn and winter suit it best. The flacon is striking and extravagant, arguably more forceful than the juice itself. When I layer it with oud, the fragrance finally gains the depth and authority I expect, and in that form, it truly commands presence. Beautiful, evocative, and polished, but for me, Loubi Prince gestures toward power more than it fully embodies it.

Smoky, deep and a grown up vanilla. This is a woody fragrance, leaning into its balsamic side as it dries. The fragrance is similar to others in the house but the Labdanum is what differentiates this from the rest. It's lighter than one would expect from such a deep and dark composition. It's not one I would consider safe to blind buy unless you know this is the kind of profile you enjoy and normally go for. I do, very much, like this, however I don't love it. In a time where I am trying to refine my taste and only buy things with intention, I've tested this fragrance a couple times through, to decide that I probably will not be making this a permanent part of my collection. I do very much enjoy this profile but it reminds me of so many others I either have in my collection or wishlist.

I just received the sample today I'm excited about it I smelt it on a test strip and it's something I would say that's sexy and intriguing. and I would like to play around with it a little bit more with having my husband wear it. My personal opinion it leans more masculine but again you wear what gel's well with your body. I will come back with a more detailed review once I do research on Sillage and longevity.

If movies had accompanying scents, this is how I would imagine Disney's "Aladdin" would smell like. This scent is an epitome of an Oriental, Middle Eastern perfume to my nose: opulent, rich, balsamic, full of warm and sweet spices, but without oud that can be polarizing. Mesmerizing and unique yet inviting. Surprisingly good. I only wish the discovery set included atomizers instead of dabbers.

Not bad, though somewhat flawed and falls short of perfection. The tonka/sandalwood combo is a popular profile for a reason, and the labdanum is a welcome balsamic addition. The lasting power was about two hours on me, though the warm, spicy, ambery opening faded long before that. Only a few minutes after spraying, I found that it loses its oomph and retreats into something of a skin scent. I generally prefer tonka over vanilla because I prefer less sweet scents, but it universally dries down flat and unfortunately nothing is buoying it up here. I am also left with the distinct scent of pencil shavings in my personal space. It's not unpleasant, but the verve and vigor of the spice is just a flash in the pan. Okay, but not a stunner. 6/10.

It's okay, not anything special really. I have to use more of it than other Loubiworld scents to have a noticeable smell, and it's not a very remarkable scent either way. It's very warm and has a strong vanilla smell which is not something I'm overly into. I was hoping for a stronger amber and sandalwood smell, but it's hard to pick those out of the strong vanilla scent.
