Guanabana Extrait de Parfum

I have never smelled or eated soursop. I own Maracuja and have sprayed 4 times since 2024 to me it’s smells like gasoline which is a big no for me. The first day I sprayed Guanabana all I could smell and experience was Oud. My nose got violated and needed some recovery from that assault. I tried it again on 6/10/25, i live in South Florida where all you feel is HUMIDITY in June which is equivalent to a good lifting session at that gym with 30 mins cardio on the stair master level 10 STICKY ICKY. I have to say this is different and I love it. It’s dense but airy, loud, long lasting 12 hrs+, different. I not sure if this is office safe doesn’t matter I’m going to be outside this summer.

Christian Provenzano, man. People can say what they want "he clones his own fragrances, he clones other fragrances and gives them a twist" Blah, blah, blah. I've taken note of him and these tropical, exotic, boozy fragrances that are composed like none other. This, to my nose straight up smells like a Sangria swirl in a big ass pitcher. And right beside that is a platter full of freshly cut fruit. Sweet, juicy, jammy with a dose of oud. In the dry down it settles into an ambery, smoked oud/bakhoor vibe. So sure I'll play along, if you took The Moon and Oud Maracuja and blended them to perfection somewhere in the middle is where this is born like only CP can do!

I never smelled oud maracujá so i cannot make any comparisons but it does remind me of the time i sampled BTV Almas by Christian Provenzano, and Frederic Malle “the moon” perfumed by Julien Rasquinet who works with Christian Provenzano. Guanabana is an intense and exotic fruity oriental. This is not only better priced, but same excellent quality, and more to my liking; simply beautiful. Rich and exotic and so beautiful in the air. I highly recommend sampling. Notes and accords never could have prepared me for what I’m smelling and descriptions do no justice, just try it

After the initial fruity burst in the opening of this beautifully crafted fragrance, it settles into a drydown that smells almost identical to Nishane Mana and Fugazzi Goudh. Since all three were created by the same perfumer, the similarity in the drydown is not surprising. Personally, I could do without the fruity opening, and since I already own Mana and Goudh, I won’t be adding this one to my collection. That said, credit where it’s due it’s a beautifully executed fragrance with easily over 12 hours of sillage and solid projection.

This stuff is incredible. Far better than oud maracuja in my opinion. That has a strong chemical and jet fuel background that completely ruins it. This is much more wearable and smooth, and the fruitiness stands out more than the oud and suede, which is good. I have never even seen a Soursop fruit in person, let alone smelled it, but it is very prominent in here and is very interesting compared to the usual overdone 'fruity oud' scents that usually contain common things like passionfruit or mango. The best way I can describe the soursop note is if you mixed together Strawberry, dragonfruit & pineapple. So unique and yet another banger by Christian.

This is beautiful. I love Oud so this beauty is right up my alley. I may need to explore more from this house.
