Massimo Extrait De Parfum

It’s easy to make the Clive Christian X association (because Christian Provenzano at least reformulated X, among other CC), but really, it’s only the opening of Massimo that reminds me of CCX, with it’s strong cardamom & cinnamon combo. Beyond that, this is almost a whole different fragrance. X is one of my very favorites, the past decade, but I have to say that in some ways, I like Massimo more. The trail of resinous, spicy, incense is amazing. I sprayed a few sprays on my sweatshirt and I could still faintly smell it wafting from my closet several days later. It is very potent, without exactly filling a room. There isn’t much else to say, as it’s sort of a relatively linear fragrance compared to X, but the middle and especially drydown, is where this one is most appreciated. You really don’t have to spray a lot to enjoy Massimo, and this is coming from a notorious over-sprayer. Excellent work, Mr Provenzano! Beautiful smell!

Reminds me of x for men by Clive Christian ... but better haha this is such smooth, sexy, and alluring spicy fragrance

Cardamom is the dominant note for me. It is not a mass appealing artificially sweetened cardamom, it is a fairly accurate and realistic slightly earthy cardamom with a touch of sweetness from the Tonka. I also really pick out the ginger and a subtle minty accord. Massimo reminds me quite a bit of Xerjoff Starlight. I would give it a 7/10 and a Fragrantica score of 4.0. The entire line is fantastic. My favorite is Santal Indien, that one is a banger.

Another oriental spicy creation from the master perfumer Provenzano , It is not unique but very well balanced with good quality ingredients The fragrance is all about cardamom which is one of my favorite notes, starts with a lovely burst of gingery cardamom giving a rapid message about the upcoming beauty from the green glass gem, within minutes it calms down with little leathery nuances but cardamom is still the maestro here ....going into the dry down stage you will live with a symphony of woody amber base with slight sweetness from the tonka beans The performance is very good , there is some similarity here to Clive X but this one is much smoother & with rounded edges and better performance Enjoy 🫶🏻🌹🫶🏻 Insta@ Egyptian_jasmine اصدار جديد بطابع شرقى تابلى ، غير فريد فى رائحته و لكنه لازال رائع و جميل و ساحر ، العطر يدور حولً نوته الهيل الجميله... بدايه قويه من الزنجبيل و الهيل ...معلنه عن بدايه خروج مخلوق ساحر ليعزف سيمفونيه شرقيه دافئه...سريعا يهدىء العطر مع ظهور لمحات من الجلد ممزوج بالهيل...ثم ظهور الاخشاب و العنبر فى النهايه مع لمحه سويتيه خفيفه من التونكا ، الاداء رائع .

Soft spicy cinnamon amber is my overall impression on full dry down. Agreed on the better version of CC X. The most impressive aspect of this scent is the distinct note separation with perfect balance. I can smell every single note in equilibrium. This is ultimately what makes Massimo so much more interesting and complex than X.
