Intimate Silhouette

This definitely has a woody, resinous beginning, but as it dries down the vanilla and nutty notes come out. After dry down, it's a gorgeous semi-gourmand, with minimal sweetness, which I love. I enjoy nutty notes and the woody/resinous base together. I'm not big on vanilla, but the vanilla note in this isn't overwhelming and is well balanced. I don't get any jasmine or much musk. However, the sandalwood probably contributes to the woody and slightly creamy aspects. Also the sillage is quite good, but the lasting power is where this really shines. It seems to be almost eternal on my skin, and that is rare for me personally. This is definitely bottle worthy for me. If you aren't into super sweet or overly powerful vanilla scents, but still like those slightly gourmand, woody notes in combination, this is a good one to try.

This is stunning to me. I'd never heard of this fragrance before, but while on a trip to Tennessee my husband and I stumbled into a Fragrance boutique in an outlet mall. The clerk recommended this to me, and I immediately fell in love. I find this to be oh so sexy. It's deep, dark, and definitely intimate but it's also very sweet and sensual. My husband liked it as well. We picked up a gift set for a reasonable price, which included body lotion and shower gel. Paired all together, I have no issues with longevity, however, with the perfume on it's own, the lasting power isn't the best but I love the scent enough that I don't mind reapplying. I get the hazelnut for sure, though I do pick up on a coffee note which is not listed. This is definitely a gourmand, perfect for the an evening out! I love the scent!

Wow - I didn't really know what to expect with this one but based on the scent profile and many reviews, I gave it a shot. I am so very pleasantly surprised by this! Yes, the bottle is clunky and not terribly chic (the plastic topper could easily go) but the perfume itself is magical. I love a nutty note in a fragrance and have been looking for a well blended scent with sesame seed. I have McQueen's Luminous Orchid which also has sesame but alongside the pepper it comes off spicy and a bit sharp. Here I get that same soft spice but it is blended with the other notes in a way that comes across as creamy and delicious. It is a gourmand of the non-gourmand variety. Sweet without smelling like a candy or food item. This was an excellent blind buy and I highly recommend.

It smells exactly like what the bottle looks like. I know it sounds strange, but the smell immediately transports me to a gorgeous dark, velvety evening dress, like the bottle. It makes me think of the reflection of the moonlight on water. I didn't really know what sesame smells like, but this smells like a slightly sweet, gourmand musk/ second skin. For the first hour it smells better from afar than close up as I get something that smells a bit chemical-like; however, as soon as put it on and sat next to my partner, he gasped and started sniffing me, wanting to know what that delicious smell is. I'll come back after a month to talk about longevity, but so far it projects well and has been projecting for the past 2 hours. I'm very happy with this buy. Smells luxe

This is INCREDIBLE - I purchased this as an alternative until I can afford Penhaligon's Dorothea BUT this smells nothing like Penhaligon's - however it is a delicious all the same. I have put it on all day, all night, for 3 days straight in a row, which is rare for me because I like to put on 383839 perfumes a day. It puts me more in the mind set of Carven Paris Bangalore, MK Mystique Shimmer and SJP Stash (maybe even L'ange Noir due to sesame) - but it smells nothing like those either. It is sweeter with vanilla, it is nutty, and it is woody. SCRUMPTIOUS! A mysterious sexy woman who spontaneously jumps into children's Double Dutch jump rope game; she likes heath candy bars, and watching reruns of Sex in the City - wears this fragrance.

True gourmand. Not generic at all. Smells expensive, and especially in the opening, almost edible. To me this isn't really sexy, more cozy. I love the fragrance, hate the packaging. I'm trying to figure out why they wasted all that ugly cheap looking plastic to cover the main bottle. I just leave that part off because it's clunky and unnecessary. Anyway...Performance on IS is really good. Longevity it good, sillage is around arm's length, maybe a bit of a trail in the first hour or two. I don't get much of the jasmine, but all the other notes come through clearly. The opening is somewhat reminiscent of Fantasy, but after the first 20 mins of wear the similarities aren't there anymore. Great value for the price!

Am I crazy for smelling Blanche Bête by Liquides Imaginaires? I don’t see it as one of the Smells Like options. I have Paris Corner Taskeen Lactea Divina which is a dupe for Blanche Bête, and it smells quite similar. I don’t get sesame seeds, sadly. I still love it for its familiar scent profile. I suppose it reminds me of Commodity Milk + Bold, but I never put it together that Milk + reminds me of BB. Edit: I was going by memory. Side-by-side this smells MUCH closer to Commodity Milk Bold. I have never smelled Milk Expressive or Personal, but I own Bold. Milk + lasts longer and has a more intoxicating depth of creaminess. Lactea Divina - I smell the florals now. I think I was just recalling its lactonic notes.

I love this perfume so much. It smells EXACTLY like Lost In A Dream. It lasts longer and projects more than LIAD though and you can get a big (goofy looking but whatever) bottle of Intimate Silhouette for less than $30. It's a no brainer if you love scents like Commodity Milk Bold and/or Expressive, Mauboussin Star and Lost in A Dream. I'm not the biggest fan of layering but I did an accidental layering of Snif Honey Suite (one of my favorite releases of 2024) and Intimate Silhouette and OMG, they are made for each other. Neither out performs the other. It's the perfect combination. If you own both of these, try this combo. Perfection!!

Definitely a crowd-pleaser. Milk chocolate with hazelnut & sweetened cocoa powder behind a soft veil of delicate floral, woody notes. It smells expensive and delicious. I just wish I'd get more of the nutty, toasted sesame that got me interested in the first place. Although Intimate Silhouette comes in a gimmicky bottle and is undoubtedly on the sweeter side, the scent itself is surprisingly classy and very well crafted - it won't be ever mistaken for a teen or cheap celebrity fragrance. Performance and projection are good and far from smothering. May get a backup bottle soon.

Because of the shape of the bottle, I have to keep this in a hard to reach place, but oh my, what good stuff this is! Very nutty, in the opening I could imagine that this dries down to such a powdery musk, but it doesn't. The roasted Nuttiness remains and the scent turns into that very airy marshmallow/sugar scent, but without mintiness or dentists. This isn't overpowering or heavy upon opening, but gives delicious whiffs of toasted nut and sugar throughout the day. This stays on my clothes until I wash them.

This is my very first sesame and amberwood fragrance, and let me tell youuuuuuuuu!!! I actually don't know how to describe it in a way that would be helpful to someone searching to see if they want to get it, but I will say that there is something truly so cozy, nutty, comforting about this scent. I've never tried Milk by Commodity, so I can't speak to resemblance, sadly. But it's sweet, in a warmer and ever so slightly dark way. Excited for autumn to come around, because I feel like this will be my go-to.

I wonder if Commidity intentionally copied this in Milk (launched several years after Intimate Silhouette), or similarities are just a coincidence. The latter seems a little far-fetched, but you never know. Despite the difference in listed notes, the two scents are remarkably similar. I prefer Intimate Silhouette as I’ve had it longer and it doesn’t have the “men’s cologne” note (mahogany?) that is sometimes obtrusive in Milk. Too strong for work, but this is otherwise my winter go-to. So yum!

I’ve become obsessed with this. I bought it in warmer weather and It didn’t make much of an impression. But I tried it again when the weather recently got cold and—wow! So nutty and creamy and cozy. It’s sweater weather in a bottle. I sprayed on just a little before work this morning and was obsessing about it the entire day. I couldn’t wait to get home and seriously overspray, because it makes me smell delicious! Seriously, I’m calling this the perfect winter fragrance.

This is a near daily wear for my partner and I. While not exactly as rich as Milk or Egyptian Sugar Soirée, this fully satisfies the craving and very affordably. It even seems to last entire work days, happily lingering on skin after 7/8 hours. Intimate Silhouette will always be a part of my collection! This is one of the greatest values in fragrance. You can snag the body wash/lotions in a 3 piece fragrance set for only $30, and I hope that NEVER changes 🥰💜

This is hands down the most underrated perfume ever! I want this to be my hidden secret haha This is a beautiful, creamy, nutty, woody fragrance. It has the perfect level of sweetness. It is so cozy and I wear this in and out of the house. I was also shocked by how similar it was to Commodity Milk which is another one of my favorites. I am so glad I found this perfume. It is so affordable, smells amazing, and lasts long. What else could I ask for?!

I really like this perfume! I get a hazelnut white chocolate smell with a lovely powdery sandalwood. The prefect woody gourmand for me. I tend to dislike Jasmine in most fragrances but I can handle the Jasmine in here because it only adds a tiny spicy bite. This fragrance is very heavy and strong so I find I only wear it in the middle of winter and on the occasional date night. So limited use for me but I love it when I get the chance to wear it.

Wow! What a lovely surprise. After yesterday's big fail blind buy I was scared to even open this. I started by smelling the bath gel first and then the lotion.( I was trying to prepare myself ). They remind me of BBW Vanilla Noel. At first spray I still like Commodity better, it has a little kick of a faint spice. The dry down however, is virtually identical on me. I still can't get over the price. I feel perfumers are taking advantage if us.

Wow! So impressed. I ran to Amazon to buy this after daniel Rene's review on TikTok and I am so glad i did. If you love milky, nutty, sweet feminine perfumes, you'll really like this! Reminds me of This Is Her, which others have mentioned, also one of my faves. I would also layer this with something green or maybe citrus to lighten it a little for daytime. So happy I grabbed a bottle.

The bottle is hideous and so cheap! But!! Its amazing! The perfume Is delicious! Smells like the fall! It is warm, slightly spicy, musky, sweet! I can smell sesame seed, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon, hazelnut and Musk. It smells very similar to This Is Her. The longevity is amazing it last at least 12 hours and sillage is perfect. It leaves a great scent Trail. My new fall favorite!!

I agree with Katie's review -- this is such a lovely scent that is good for almost any cool season occasion--- work, going out, dates, and relaxing at home. The scent is intoxicating to me with such a nice blend of the amber, soft woods, and vanilla --- This is definitely a permanent addition to my collection and one that I am finding myself reaching for at least 2-3 times per week!

I absolutely adore this perfume! One of my favorites by far. It smells like what you would think the color purple smells like. Very sweet and sexy. If you like warm vanilla scents, this is a must try! You will love it! It wears 12+ hours, and every time I've worn it out, I've gotten numerous compliments! Christian Siriano never disappoints in my opinion. Give it a try!

I have a few Commodity fragrances and even though I had sampled and really loved Milk, I couldn't bring myself to buy it due to the brand's cost and poor longevity. I was so excited when I found out about Intimate Silhouette -- and what they say is true, it's almost exactly Milk! I love them both, but less expensive and longer lasting wins hands down in my book : )

Pluses: Delicious, nutty and sweet. Sophisticated. Unisex. Cozy and comforting. Great for nights or colder weather. Not really a hot day perfume in my opinion. I love it. Got it in a set with lotion and body wash. Minuses: The bottle is tacky, plasticky and bulky. Would have preferred this is a simple square bottle.

This is very nice, pretty and sweet. The woody notes aren't overpowering. This honestly, kinda reminds me of pink sugar, but a bit nutty and woody. I love this so much, I almost went through my .25 decant in a week😬 So, I ordered the 100ml bottle! The woody notes are so out of my element, but the sweetness😍😍

I left a earlier review but needed to add: This smells almost exactly like Milk Commodity -really vice versa since this came out first. I have both. The only reason i prefer Milk is because i have to hide this monsterous bottle. Gorgeous scent, hideous bottle.

Beautiful. I'm so glad to have her along with the set of shower gel & body lotion. Fantastic in the cold weather. 9/10 definitely. So well blended. Sesame with hazelnut & Vanilla... Oh my, YES! I will have to try others by Christian Siriano for sure. 💜

Smells so amazing, almost smells like baccarat or Al haramain amber oud but more woody and more gourmand and more sexy , love it so much I mix them together kinda doesn’t last long tho but when the wind blow I smell myself and smile

It projects and lasts like crazy! I am an oversprayer but with this one I am careful with my sprays because it is really potent but in a good way. Very cozy. It reminds me of Christmas with the family at a cabin.

Woody, creamy and slightly nutty. It has a subtle chocolate note (not listed). The powdery accord makes the perfume more airy and less overwhelming. Great for colder weather (fall/winter).

Holy crack! I got this as a sample with a perfume haul and sprayed it on some paper. Immediately fell in love and bought the full size bottle.

I like this, but not as much as I hoped I would. My main criticism is that I don't get the nutty notes that were promised. I cannot detect even the merest hint of sesame, the note I was most excited about. Instead this smells sweet and woody to me. Imagine a fantasy tree that drips thick syrupy caramel instead of tree sap, which has partly dried to crispy, crunchy droplets on its rind. It might sound a weird, but that's the image that comes to my mind when I smell this. I think the crunchy-sweet woodsiness I get here is from the amberwood, at least I have gotten a similar effect from other fragrances that contain this note. The woods in this also feel a little sharp and fuzzy. I can't link them to any trees that occur in nature, but they're not unpleasantly synthetic. Besides that I mainly get a bright, milky vanilla that softens the overall scent nicely. I have definitely smelled scents like this before, so Intimate Silhouette is nice, but doesn't stand out to me. For a feminine designer release I find this quite unisex leaning. The performance is good on my skin, but to be fair most amber, vanilla and woody scents last long on me. Side note: I'm secretly kind of relieved that I don't love this and won't ever have this awkward bottle with the huge plastic cap in my collection. What were they thinking?

First off I adore lactonic scents and most of them don't last very long. This is true of this perfume and Milk which smells very much like this. Milk is really a copy of this scent since its older. So it's not really a dupe but they are very very similar. Milk is overpriced IMO. I love the scent - cozy a little sweet but not overly so. The lactonic vibes mixed with the woods and spices make this delectable. I really like the scent and the price point is excellent. I do wish it lasted longer but as I mentioned I think it's hard to create the lactonics with longevity. If anyone knows of a perfume that does have longevity please let me know! (I do think Pierre Guillaume a une Madone is very lactonic and does last a while. Low silliage.It's expensive but there is now a dupe available. ) I don't know that I would wear this in warmer weather, and personally, I think it's a unisex scent. My husband loves the bottle but like many of you it's super big and bulky - it's not my favorite bc it takes up so much room. Blind buy? I think it's pretty inoffensive note wise but I know that some people smell sour notes in lactonic frags. I don't smell that at all here, I dont think it has that animalistic element. It's not expensive so I do think you could blind buy this. Especially if you are into woody lactonics.

In my sesame era. Got Blanche Bete and Sissa samples as well but a full bottle of this. Intimate Silhouette is exotic yet comforting, not gourmand enough to make me crave snacks! Kinda mysterious but still safe. Save your date nights or statement fragrances for something bolder like Sissa. I'm not mad I got this bottle. This is appropriate for daytime/school/work, or babysitting in my opinion. It's not childish, it's mature, but something about this tells me small children won't think you smell "old," and might like it. I know child-me would have liked my caretakers to smell like this. I sprayed liberally unlike some of my more expensive sesame featuring perfumes.

ok so i originally bought this perfume 3 years ago and i really didn’t like it because of how strong and spicy it was on my skin. I’m was more of a creamy, playful, clawingly sweet type of gourmand girly so this wasn’t my cup of tea. However now after shinning this perfume i bought milk by commodity and it smells just like this without the spice. As i’ve matured and delved deeper into my obsession with perfume i’ve come to love spice notes so giving this a try after i can appreciate it !!! It smells like a fresh bakery that’s cooking sweet cakes the moment you walk in but you can smell the spice and nutty pies they where cooking about an hour ago😭

I haven't had a chance to try this on my skin yet, but it's lovely on paper. Rich & warm, slightly spicy, and unexpectedly subdued. I could see this being a great winter scent. As others have mentioned, the bottle feels somewhat cheap. I think it looks fine though, and no one will be able to tell that it's plastic and not glass from a distance. It's definitely a weird design but it grows on me each time I see it. Give it a chance; you might come around to it. In any event, the juice inside is pretty good. Edited to add: it seems like sesame allergies are on the rise. I won't be surprised if this gets reformulated soon.

like the most delicious decadent scrumptious part of a cinnamon roll or cardamom bun. i do get the "purple" medicinal type scent of this but it fades i'd say after about 5 minutes and it's really not noticeable unless you're looking for it (if anything the amber gets more hyped up the longer it sits). for super sweet vanilla gourmand lovers who want to venture out of your eclaires or bare vanillas, this is a great choice as it's not overly woody that it reads as dirty and it's still super food-like without seeming juvenile or overly cloying. everytime i wear it i get more and more addicted IT IS ALARMING.

I love sesame & hazelnut as a note. Bond No 9 New Bond St and Mind Games Sissa are my absolute favoritesss. This is right up there with them. Its very lactonic, nutty, sesame, sweet, creamy, vanilla & woody. It is a close profile to Commodity Milk but this doesnt have a heavy musk note (which I appreciate). This is probably closest to Mind Games Sissa or Navitus Lost in a Dream. These scent profiles smell like a bakery: freshly baked cookies & bread. Both savory & sweet. So creamy & cozy. I got this on PerfumeSpot.com for $39. PS I absolute hate this bottle and the weird cap but the scent is worth it

I'm sampling this today. It smells amazing. I love the woody and resin notes. The hazelnut and vanilla give it a nutella-esque vibe, but in a classy expensive way. I'm definitely going to enjoy finishing this sample, but I likely won't buy a bottle. I feel like I already have similar fragrances and it would be redundant. I would recommend this if you like these types of accords. It smells like me, but better. It's not loud or massive projection and silage. It does sit closer to the skin, but it's not weak. I'm in a very pleasant bubble of fragrance.

A really beautiful scent that, unfortunately, only lasted for about an hour and half on me. If it stuck around longer this would easily be one of my favorites. The food notes make it feel warm and natural and everything else balances it out so you don't feel like a walking dessert. Edit: I was able to get this to last longer when I put it on right after a shower and unscented lotion, but somehow it also smelled more like food this time around.

I really like this perfume and for the price point it’s a steal. I’m a big fan of a sesame note and own several much more expensive niche fragrances that have a similar scent profile. I get a big sesame nutty note in the open along with an smoky incense which transitions to a peppery sandalwood. The dry down is very nice and I get about 3 hours duration before it mellows and becomes more of a skin scent, which is very pleasant.

This smells purple.. crazy the sweetness I thought was coming from a plum note.. but I'm guessing now it's from the hazelnut vanilla & sandalwood possibly.. very nice we just got this in our perfume shop.. I think all of his scents are quite nice & each one compliments the bottle. Reminds me of a sweeter M.Kors - Midnight Shimmer

VERY cozy, yummy lactonic scent - it’s creamy and delicious! Crazy how similar to commodity milk this smells after the opening... honestly not sure I would be able to tell the difference if blindfolded. Another added bonus is that the scent lasts for a very long time! Perfect for winter! And very affordable!! Highly recommend!
