Silhouette In Bloom

a very fruity rose but not in a jammy way; this really is about the pear as the main top note with rose, a tiny tiny trace amount of pink pepper but not enough for a sneeze and some musk; goes on big, fades down fast

Sprayed a double dose of this because I just couldn't smell the opening notes at all; 10-20 minutes later, it smelled great for a brief flash, and then it was gone again. In theory, I love these notes together, but I don't think they're blended very well, or maybe I'm just 90% nose blind to the mix somehow. I do occasionally get a whiff of a delicious dark rose with some depth beneath it, but it's so weak that I can't really give it any credit.

Not enough rose. Needs more rose. Needs more JASMINE. And all of the stuff listed as notes. At first the pear and citrus was too much and competed with the rose. Then some type of sharp chemical competed with the rose, which never took over. And now, three hours later there is a sweet chemical smell.

Received a sample of this with a recent fragrance order. Just what the perfume industry needs is another sticky sweet syrupy perfume with a mishmash of nondescript notes. After having tried another scent from this brand with a stupid name (People Are People) I'm wondering if this is all they can produce. It's really rather boring. Edit - received a sample of a 1st. fragrance introduced from this brand, Silhouette, which is another sweet fruity floral too.

On first spray, it's a somewhat sharp floral. Within 10 minutes, it settles down into musk accented with flowers and hints of fruits. It takes another 20 minutes or so before the roses start to become more apparent.

They are selling this at Payless shoe stores these days! I sniffed the bottle. Not sure if I liked it,although it seemed pleasant enough.
