She starts off very powdery, but after about half an hour or so, the citrus notes start coming through. I definitely smell more bergamot than manderin. It's such a beautiful and tasty combination of the orchid scents with the citrus ones. She is pretty strong too. She has a medium range. The longevity is pretty good too, around 6 hours or so. I had already gotten 2 compliments about this perfume today, so I guess I'm not the only one who likes her. Maybe it's because I am relatively new into the scent scene, but I think she can be worn at any occasion, any type of the day, even if she definitely leans a little more daytime. She reminds me of a tasty fresh drink on the beach, even though I hate the beach lmao. Love this one! When she runs out, I am definitely making sure I have a second bottle on hand before then!

This is perrrfect!!! I bought a bunch of Christina Aguilera perfumes and honestly was debating whether to get this or skip it because notes didn't seem like something I'd enjoy. I still put in in my cart. It arrived. Oh my goodness!! This is smooth, soft, powdery, lactonic like the most luxurious body milk or body cream. Like your second skin but way way better. I've tested thousands of perfumes and own close to 300 but Definition is my literal No 1!! The only other scent I loved this much is Love, Chloe - they are similar but Chloe is a tad bit spicy. Definition is super affordable, long lasting, ultra feminine tender pink perfume, like a fluffy blanket and even serves as a replacement for Love, Chloe. I'm over the moon!!! I'll be buying back up bottles.

Christina Aguilera Definition is a fragrance that feels like a soft embrace. Although there’s no rose listed among the notes, it gives off a pink vibe – not the flower, but the color. This has the same creaminess factor that MontBlanc has. The orchids, heliotrope & musk I feel give it that creamy sorbet undertone and the apple on top gives it a lolly kind of smell. It’s my favourite of her line so far and it reminds me of something I used to wear in the early 2000’s and I can’t remember for the life of me what it was, perhaps something Avon since my mum worked for them around that time. I only discovered this at the beginning of 2026 and I’m in love with this scent. I’ve been wearing this in the hot weather and it projects and lasts a long time on my skin and even longer on my clothes. This one will stay in my collection as a staple forever

I really like this one from Christina. Probably one of my faves. Next to Red Sin. I have to say this one really lasts on me. Even on sunny/hot day's. It has a really soapy and floral scent to it. HEAVY on the soapy/clean scent. I haven't ever really owned a heavy "soapy" scent till this one. It's not like anything else in her lineup. It's a good clean scent, and one that sits close to the body does not radiate very far so if you're looking for something to smell yourself and you enjoy a clean soapy floral clean scent this is great if you're a fan of her collection like I am.

There is something hauntingly beautiful about this one. In my opinion, it is such a nice balance between being sweet and being floral, while also having a musky twist to it. It is very intense and long lasting. The first note I feel when I put it on is definitely that sweet red apple, but after some time the most beautiful orchid smell comes through, and orchid is one of my favorite notes in a perfume. I feel this is more a spring/summer kind of smell. Really loving this one.

I bought this one because someone put it smelled like Zara Frosted Cream ( which is not available in stores near me so I’m not able to test it yet) and I found out when it dried down on my skin it smelled similar to Zara Nuit ( which I also own) without chemicals smell and lighter. I can see I will wear this one more than Zara Nuit . Bonus: don’t sniff your wrist or wherever you spray it for the first 15 mins because it may give you headache. After that it smells wonderful

Avon had a bubblebath with candy scent,at around 2010., which I loved so bad that I used to put some on my wrists to smelling that all the time, but get discontinued so I missed so much. I found this gem and I can say that its 95% the same! To me it’s pure candy, sweet, lactonic really comforting scent, with vanilla. Billie Eilish’s first fragrance giving me a little identical vibes, also the SC Sweet tooth. Lovelovelove 10/10

When you just feel like having a soft and delicate powdery cloud envelop you, this is a good option. In true 2020 style, I rely on this when I might have to queue for something or wear a mask for a long spell. One gentle spray on the outside of my cloth mask keeps me feeling calm and comforted. I will definitely buy again. I only use the fragrance mist as a pillow mist, dreamy ☁️

I have become obsessed with this perfume, got a backup too! I was looking for a modern powdery fragrance and I found it. This perfume smells very feminine and to me, it has the same vibe as Ari by Ariana but less sweet and more powdery. If the scent had a color it would be pastel pink. I ́m just honestly super impressed with this.

I got the body mist and sprayed once on my atm before bed only to wake up with a delicious amber dry doen..so this is def a high quality produckt in regard to longevity. Never had a body mist that lasted this long. The perfume longevity is supreme though.

People often asked me what perfume I wear it became one of my favorites at first. I've used up a lot of bottles and will continue to do so, i always want to have it in my collection, it has become one of my signature scents.

I love,love, love this fragrance, it may be one of my recent favorite. It is so feminine and powdery, sweet but not too much vanilla sweet. It lasts and it is a good smell. Teen girl fragrance i would say.

Addictive Musky, sweet vanilla. A bit soapy on a drydown. Office safe. I Love it! The most feminine frag yet. For all ages, 24/7.

Omg this Is 1:1 my favorite Montblanc Signature. Sadly the sillage and longevity are pathetic.

This perfume smells like the new fragrance Far Away Beyond The Moon by Avon.

Apart from glam x theres never been a CA fragrance that i haven't actually really liked so i thought ide give it a go and im actually pretty happy with it. On opening its fluffy sweet like sugared whipped cream and marshmallows then the citrus comes though with the honoki wood. Hinoki wood is supposed to have a fresh citrus/ pine smell, so this becomes just that; a sweet fresh citric scent with the warmth of the musk. Its like a orange scented soap with marshmallow. It reminds me of something ive smelled before, i cant figure out what i just KNOW ive smelled it before. It was only $24 for 50ml so its not a bad but and it is slightly different from her usually overly fruity scents but the hinoki note does give it a very distinct green smell that may not be for everyone. Im glad i took the chance with it though. Update: Ok so ive decided i just cant wear this. the top notes are beautiful, but after that it gives me a headache, its happened 3 times now so im guessing i should be done with it. i like the smell, but the headache i get just isnt worth it. It seems to habg on too, instead of getting small whiffs throughout the day, im in a constant cloud of smell that just doesn't let up, even if i only spray the tiniest bit. Odd for a CA fragrance to do this

This was brought to my attention on another perfume review site, when I looked up how the new Montblanc Signature was rated there. Definition had a lower score than Montblanc and some deemed that unfair because they think it's basically the same scent. My curiosity got the better of me and I visited my trusted drugstore to test Definition. So, first things first: They are very similar, yes. But Montblanc Signature is and stays fruitier and more airy, in comparison. Definition packs a heavier punch on the musk and vanilla (heliotrope and vanilla orchid combined, I guess). More dense, in a way. The dry down is woody, musky with a pinch of creamy florals and fruit. A little by Night/Hypnotic Poison vanilla vibe peaks out here, too. So, Definition would be a super creamy pudding while Montblanc Signature would be a Mousse or Soufflé. Both equally delicious and Definition being a very good and budget friendly option in this scent category.

This used to be my signature scent when I had my teenager party phase. I loved it and got a lot of compliments on it. Eventually I also got the body spray. And then one day it just started to smell like glue or something similiar to me and I haven't used it since. I still have an unfinished bottle and an unopened bottle of the body spray and I just can't bring myself to use it anymore because it reminds me of the person I used to be. I might use it as a room spray or just gift it to someone else. Generally it is a great perfume tho I just grew out of it. I occasionally smell it on other women or see a bottle of the body spray in their purse.

this is such an underrated gem! got this at the drugstore for 9.95€ and boy do i love this. smells powdry and sweet and will linger for a looong time (better than some expensive ones that i have). i find myself re-applying it a lot, not because it doesn’t last long but because the scent is just so lovely. if you’re looking for a nice and soft spring perfume, try this one out!

It does smell somewhat like alcohol and musky at the beginning. It fades quickly to a soft sugar (not too overly sweet imo), powdery and almost silk-like velvety cottony scent. Its blended well, its comforting. Layer this with By Night and it smells like a fruity bouquet of flowers wrapped in silk paper.

I love it! It is sweet, powdery and pleasent to my nose, projects OK within the first hour or so and then sits closer to the skin so it is not overly disturbing to people around you. I do not agree that is is a cheaper version of Signature perfume. I have both and to me they are COMPLETELY different.

To me this is a creamy, sweet musky vanilla with a hint of almond and some cozy flowers in the background. It also get something that I can't put my finger on, something powdery. It makes me think of late autumn/winter for some reason. It is not heavy or soapy at all as someone mentioned.

Slightly resembles Hypnotic Poison. But this one is more simple and weaker. It's not bad. I can say it's gentle and inoffensive, pleasant. Average projection and longevity.

I was gifted a bottle a few years ago and I liked it. I'm not a huge fan of apple notes in fragrances but Definition worked well as an office fragrance at the time.

Dupe for Signature by Montblanc. Holds better then some other Chistina's perfumes, beautiful, unusual scent.

It is too powdery, musky and floral for me. Reminds me of those fancy grandmas and their scents when you walk into their homes. I will just leave it at that. I tried it few times but just not for me and now I'm left with this whole 50ml bottle tho luckily I got it as a gift but still uhhh...

I'm a fan of the original and first Christina Aguilera perfume, but this one was sort of a letdown. Powdery sweetness that feels a little too cheap and basic for my taste, unlike the original which is on the generic and safe side, but still wonderfully elegant and balanced.

Im really sorry to all users of this fragrance. But this is probably the worst of all of Xtinas scents. There is something sickly sweet and annoying to the bones. Probably the combination of musk and orchid. If you are looking for a cheap dupe of Montblanc Signature for woman in white bottle , this is exactly the same fragrance. I didn't like this one at all. I thought it was horrible:( just tried to wash it off. For reference I like sweet notes and creamy gourmands. I was disappointed by this.

This is my third favorite fragrance from Christina. Her first being the best, Followed by Secret Potion. I like Glam X as well as Touch of Seduction and Inspire is just ok. I don’t care much for Royal Desire. At the time of writing I still need to purchase By Night, Woman and Unforgettable to complete my collection. I like this one, it is to me very much the one that I relate most to what I imagine Christina would wear if that makes sense! It’s sweet but sophisticated. It is similar I think to glam X out of her fragrances I’ve tried. My main problem with her fragrances is that while minus one or two they smell quite alluring and attractive and are great value for money, most including this have such a minimal staying power. Why is this something that so many new celeb fragrances, including the really good ones, last such an incredibly short time? It has put me off buying a lot of them because I am not even joking when I say after 20 mins there’s nothing left. This is why I tend to wear heavier perfumes because it’s just so frustrating. I get that it can be overwhelming when a fragrance like hypnotic poison stays on all night sometimes this is quite rare and for the most part i need a heavier perfume to ensure after 1 hour I actually smell of something. I can’t exactly carry around a bottle and respray all the time as we all know that the initial blast can bother people around you. Anyway, I still love Christina’s fragrances overall and if they lasted longer I’d be very happy. I recommend Definition for Christina fans and lovers of gormounds if you’re prepared to respray.

This is a true drugstore gem and so underrated. Definition walked, so Montblanc Signature could run. This came first (in 2017), Signature later (in 2020). Both were created by the same perfumer Guillaume Flavigny. I wonder if he was also involved in creating Initio's Musk Therapy, because that scent has certain facettes of this one too. They aren't dupes though. If you like feminine, sweet, clean, musky and quite dense scents, you will like this. This smells like a fluffy mandarine vanilla dessert. It is uber feminine, quite fitting to Christina Aguilera. It leaves a nice scent bubble, like a cloud. You could wear this anytime, but it works best in mild spring weather. Could be a bit cloying in heat. The bottle is soo pretty. The price is unbeatable. This would make an incredible mother's day gift. Young and old can wear this, it's just so feminine, clean and sophisticated, but still a little bit playful. Would also make a great signature scent. It is quite dense, sweet and strong for a drugstore scent, so it can be overwhelming if you spray too much. It can smell a tad bit soapy, but that really doesn't hurt this kind of scent profile. I personally like to use the body mist, because it is a little lighter and ideal for running errands.

A sweet floral with a light fruity touch and a more noticeable herbal/medicinal touch. The opening is pure vanilla orchid, very natural smelling and reminiscent of marshmallows. Later on, you get a fruity smell, but nothing really strong, and then you get the hinoki wood, the note that really gives personality to this fragrance. it smells green and slightly medicinal. I don ́t know if it is the hinoki wood per se, or if it is its combination with the vanilla orchid that produces this effect, anyway, i think some may dislike this fragrance because of this accord. I think Definition is a nice fragrance. It is not Aguilera ́s best, but not her worst either. I would recommend triying if you ́re looking for a winter floral, if you ́re a fan of vanilla orchid or if you like your perfumes to smell a bit medicinal. I have no complaints about sillage and longevity. In fact, it projects very well.

So so so good for the price! It's a light, sweet and feminine perfume that I personally love so much. I randomly smelled it at a store once and instantly loved it, the longer it sat on my skin the more I liked it genuinely. It's one of my fave perfumes if you want something soft and feminine but not super overpowering. I used to get so many compliments on this perfume as well, definitely worth the money!! It's also great for layering. I used to personally love layering this one with the xtina by night body mist! It also goes really well with both vanilla and fruity fragrances as well! and ofcourse it's also really good on it's own, 10/10.

I will start by saying the one in the lace bottle is a lovely classy scent. I tried this one in Debenhams and it was weak in both lasting power and projection. The scent itself is nothing terrible, but it is certainly nothing unique or special either. Smells like another generic watered down weak floral scent. It has no juiciness or freshness. It is so lackluster and uninspiring. I wouldn't buy this, nor would I ever reach for it, if it were gifted to me. It is unbelievably boring. Reminds me of the watered down floral scents Avon tend to knock out all throughout the year. Very boring scent. Overall Rating 2/10

If Signature by Montblanc and Far Away Beyond by Avon had a child, it would smell like this. Funnily enough, I like this one more than either of those. This is a quieter, powdery floral vanilla, very soft and elegant. Femininity that doesn't seek attention, but subtly invites you to come closer. Edit: I see some people are comparing this to Yara and I have to say that on initial spray they do have the same vibe but they're definitely not the same within 3 minutes of application. Yara is sweeter, frutier and leans more tropical. This is powdery and way more sophisticated than Yara is. Definition has...character

Ooooh frosted cream zara!! This is so similar, fluffy soft hug in a giant plush white blanket! i love it, although I have to say if they were the same price I would get montblanc only because montblanc has that citrus twist that I need in these types of perfumes - this is so dense, like a really high quality marshmallow - I'm really tempted to buy this to be honest. Suepr good price too. if you love zaara and montblanc, buy this! you can't get zaara anymore anyway and montblanc is a bit more expensive (about double this.) Anyone in the uk looking to swap a bottle, get in touch!

I normally pretty much ignore Christina's fragrances, but saw a tester on the shelf when I was looking for something else. This is actually very nice. It's like a mix of sugar sherbet and marshmallows with a little vanilla and musk thrown in. It reminds me of 70s fragrances with that musk. Doesn't last a long time but is nice while it hangs around. Definitely worth a look if you see it, but I do wish she would go a bit further with her bottles. That lace thing really needs to be retired.

💲I paid $14.50 for the 1.7oz EDP during my recent perfume binge on Fragrance net. 👃 Such a dainty, soft fragrance. I love it. My first thought was that it is yummy, yet delicate & would be perfect for a wedding; It would work perfectly for a bride or it would be appropriate for a guest to wear because it’s very pretty, but not overpowering. What it smells like to me is a thin slice of ripe mango, coated in a soft vanilla-infused, almond cream white candy shell.

Eh? Got this one in March when everything was closed due to covid and my only option to get a new perfume was the drug store, because I remember how much I liked the by night version years ago I decided to risk it and take this one without testing it but I got disappointed, this one smells a bit cheap, wearable but not impressive.

got a miniature bottle just to try it out, but i might upgrade to a bigger one. its truly a hidden gem! on me it feels like a comfortable and soft hug which is also floraly. for me, it is similar to og this is her! but not as milky and more laid back.

I bought the mist a while ago and fell in love with the fragrance. It reminds me of a perfume my aunt wore decades ago. I bought the perfume today - and I love it. It is currently one of my favorite perfumes. I would wear it every day.

When I first sprayed this, it was very alcohol-y. I almost cried and thought I'd made a mistake. But once I sprayed a few more times it developed into a lovely, creamy flowery scent. Very nice! Can't wait to try more from her line.

smell EXACTLY THE SAME!!!! as montblanc signature. I wasn't sure if I sprayed signature by accident, that's how much alike they are. Just a bit softer and that's what makes it better because signature is very lactonic

Note: I only have the body spray in this one, so the actual scent may differ slightly. Powdery with a slight licorice note... not something I’d normally reach for, but may be good for layering.

A gently sweet vanilla with very smooth citrus, not harsh at all, also a bit soapy. Young (but not juvenile), delicate and feminine. Very good for something that costs so little.

This smells like bubblegum, but with a bite - and not in a good way! It’s strange. Doesn’t perform great either. This is a pass for me.
