Glam X Eau de Parfum

I was at Walmart not long ago.. just saw this sitting there.. and I’m not very familiar with Christina’s frag like, so I decided to give it a go ., the bottle was also looked enticing over the other testers there. I sprayed it and right away, I was first overwhelmed with white floral... particularly orange blossom , Lilly of the valley, and possibly the orange and star anise. But mostly, it was a bomb of orange blossom. I like orange blossom in some perfumes, like JPG Classique, but sometimes it can be too much. It was okay, so I left and thought nothing more of it... until I got home and an hour passed. I kept smelling the sweetest, creamiest , warm and intoxicating scent.. which I had no idea where was coming from. I figured it must’ve been one of my perfumes I was wearing earlier, Pink Sugar..., just thought my nose was acting goofy cause I’m pregnant. There’s no way it could’ve been the Christina perfume I sprayed hours before, I thought. It smelled nothing like it did in the prior stages, so I was confused. But it had settled down and morphed into the loveliest lil scent! The dry down is amazing!! I didn’t pay attention to the name of the perfume, so I had to hunt it down here on fragrantica, lol. I went to Walmart asap the next day and bought it. And it aaa actually pretty pricey for a celeb frag. I checked prices on eBay after, and the 2oz bottle was listing for 40$ mostly. Didn’t realize this is one of Christina’s newest offerings. I went through my bottle so fast, and am happy to report that the price reduced significantly to 18$ since then. Cheap and so yummy! This is similar to Classique in the sense that it DOES revolve around orange blossom. But the dry down notes for both make them so much more than that..particularly the amber. Classique is more powdery to me.. and Glam X is creamy and sweet. It smells like very creamy vanilla and amber.. and I swear this is one of the most gorgeous ambers I’ve ever encountered ! Along comes the sweet sugar, benzoin... and I love the woody undertones. To sum it up, Glam X is like a warm glowing fire. Also, I see other people commenting on the other floral notes in this, but I’m not getting that. Possibly at first.. but this perfume is all about its dry down..I don’t pay much attention to ithe top notes. I'm also just noticing it has a balsamic vibe.. To me, this is incredibly sweet. At first it smelled like cotton candy or ice cream at dry down. But ultimately, this is not a cotton candy sickly sweet concoction. It’s a floral gourmand. If you love amber, vanilla, creamy , orange blossom and benzoin, you’ll like this. I love it, personally. I know vanilla is not listed in the notes, but all mixed together, there’s definitely a prominent smell reminiscent to vanilla. I’m thinking it’s just the sweet amber and orange blossom mixed, who knows. In fact, it smells like cream soda now that I think of it. But very sexy, perfumey woody cream soda! I’m just happy as Glam X is now in my top 10 favorite perfumes. I’m really obsessed with it right now. Highly recommend. Oh, and the sillage/longevity is very impressive! It lasted on me for 24 hours! I would also say I wear this during the day AND night. It’s pretty AND sexy. My old fave Christina was Red Sin, smells like spiced apple. But this is better! Oh, and lastly, I've seen comparisons for Lolita Lempicka a few times, also Private Show, Opium. If you dont like those, i'd still try this , as every nose is different --and for me, Glam X doesn't seem similar like any of those, IMO. Especially the Lolita Lempicka comparison. Just goes to show how differently we all smell things. But.. I'd be a little disappointed if Glam X were similar to Private Show or Lolita lempicka. I would actually say this is more reminiscent of L de Lolita Lempicka.. Lolita's "L,", rather than the original Lolita Lempicka. They're all 3 completely different, but I don't get anything similar to Lolita Lempicka from this. i can't really think of anything it reminds me of at the moment..so.. give a try

Weird one in a good way. I was obsessed with it when it first came out and I still love it. It opens up sweet and very fresh, slightly spicy, must be the star anise, like a coffeee-free lighter Black Opium EDP on my skin, lovely, must be the common notes (mandarin orange and jasmine of the EDT, and orange blossom of both EDT and the EDP) and it might also be the peach in it since Touch of Woman by La Rive contains lots of peach and its quite a dupe for BO EDP. Glam X is not a dupe for BO at all, I just see some of their common notes creating a similar effect. Somewhere before the drydown I detect some similarity to Police's To Be Rose Blossom, and my nose didnt fool me because I see heliotrope, jasmine, amber and mandarin on both. Of course To Be Rose Blossom is heavy and syrupy with the licorice and gardenia. And I see why ppl saw similarity to Loverdose by Diesel which is listed as the first dupe for To Be Rose Blossom. So that lovely sweet BO/Loverdose family got a fresh new member with a vibrant fresh floral twist.Nothing cloying about this perfume so a safe blind buy and best for those like me who find Black Opium or Loverdose abit heavy. It has a beautiful "spiciness" to it beyond the star anise, something almost oriental, it must be the benzoin with the amber. Benzoin is a favorite note of mine and paired with amber is even better. Then it changes mood, becomes lighter and smells identical maybe stronger on the vanilla to Fantasy in Bloom. Maybe a winter version. I see they both contain mandarin orange, jasmine, amber, sandalwood and vanilla. Freesia and lily-of-the valley keep it so fresh and light while the benzoin makes it more seductive and alluring. A perfectly balanced sexy date-night perfume, very feminine and dynamic. Wish the bottle was larger than 2 oz. Since I cant wear BO EDP because its a total mess on my skin, and the BO EDT is so boyish and plastic on me and I find Fantasy in Bloom too summery for winter time with the cherry blossom, Glam X is an amazing winter choice or even for the summer nights. Sprayed on clothes it comes off more floral than fruity(its very fruity on the skin).

This is stunning!!! I'm amazed at how classy and rich this smells. I love how these notes work together and it's really unique once it settles. Initially when you first spray it you think this is nice another fruity floral but wait. It really doesn't take long before this starts to smell warm and inviting, the floral notes start to mix in and it has the perfect balance of fruit and floral. Then the gourmand aspect comes in and you get this beautiful warmth from the amber but not too much it just lends a sweetness to balance everything. The heliotrope in the heart is just beautiful and I think it gives this a unique edge that not many fragrances have. I'm loving this and it lasts really well for a Christina perfume as her others don't last on me. The sillage is lovely it leaves a nice trail. Overall a stunning effort and I'm really impressed with it and will try any future scents as Elizabeth Arden has taken over her brand and if this fragrance is the result of that I say it was a great business move.

I recently got this perfume from Amazon in the USA. This perfume isn't " too gourmand " or " too floral " it's just right. Hands down one of my favorite perfumes by her as well as By Night. This is more of a in between scent for her. To me Glam X is a daytime perfume into the evening. I really like how the star anise is in this perfume, and that's why I like this perfume as much as I do. The notes are really balanced in this perfume. The amber in this perfume is balanced by the other notes so the amber doesn't become overwhelming which makes me very happy. To me Glam X is the perfect " floral gourmand " this could easily be your signature perfume all year round, because it's not too heavy.

She's a very pleasant scent, but sadly she only stays around for 3 hours max. The anis is very nice and strong in there, and makes this quite different from Christina's other fragrances. I love that. I just wish she stayed around for longer. I think she can be used for every day, every season, day or night. A very versatile scent, in my opinion.

A modern, sweet, white floral without the heavy vintage soap and powder. Actually the drydown reminds me of Radiance, and since that one is discontinued I am thrilled 😄. On my skin the sillage is moderate, I get whiffs of it for an hour at least.

BBW's Snowflakes & cashmere reminds me of this, with a Black Opium type of sweetness in both, but Snowflakes ends up smelling like Indi by Katy Perry (its the cashmere overload that mimics amber).

Gorgeous bottle and fragrance,an absolute pleasure to wear..A beautiful floral,sweet,long lasting scent.Smells quite similar to Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday perfume,which is lovely too.♥️♦️

"Glam X" is pretty simple but there is something about it that makes it unforgettable. In fact, I will keep this in mind in case I feel like wearing it again. I actually miss it now that I finally finished my 15 ml bottle. It is a light, warm fragrance with soft floral and fruity notes. The amber and benzoin stand out the most to me. I quite liked it even when I was not interested in floral fragrances several years ago. I have always been easy to please when it comes to perfume.The spice is very quiet and shy, there is just a hint of it. Overall, it is a really pretty and mature perfume that is well balanced. It makes a great nighttime fragrance if you like wearing perfume to bed. It is also suitable for a night out. While I associate it with autumn and winter, I have also worn it on rainy summer days. This makes it quite versatile. I can get it to last about 5 hours if I apply a generous amount. Currently, it is a solid like, but it could be a love if it were a little stronger. It deserves to be reformulated so that the juice is more concentrated and the spicy note is more prominent. This would be a significant improvement. The fact that it is affordable, just like the rest of Christina's line, makes it a safe blind buy. Not every fragrance needs to be exceptional. Sometimes you just need to smell nice without using your more expensive perfumes. "Glam X" is ideal for such occasions. Song: Taylor Swift - You Are In Love

i was at a macy's backstage store earlier today and saw this hidden in clearance for $10. as a fragrance fanatic i quickly snatched it and looked up on fragrantica what the reviews were etc. the only similar fragrance i see this being associated to was armani code and i love that so i was like this could be a great find! so i my initial thought was Viva La Juicy and that's all i am smelling and no one seems to have mentioned that. Viva may be overrated to some but it's one of my signature winter scents and now i found this that can pass for it and for much cheaper!! also i didn't even know aguilera had a fragrance line i have never seen it promoted anywhere like they do with britney, ariana, and rihanna. i am pleased.

I just got the larger bottle of this. I can tell the orange blossom and the warm musks are strong. It reminds me of Britney Spears' "Private Show" but with a higher class punch. It's not as fruity. This also has a nod back to the "Red Sin" fragrance of Christina's. I love the bottle and the scent. It probably will wear heavier in warmer weather and during the day, better in evening and possibly in colder weather. Classic scent all around though. Majority of Christina's scents are beautiful well balanced and classic.

Disclaimer: I’m not usually a gourmand fan, but this doesn’t scream gourmand at all to my nose. Not getting star anise from this, but more a warm peach with some very subtle sweetness. Surprisingly fresh for being so cozy. Definitely unobtrusive and can be worn year-round. I’ve tried several of Christina’s fragrances so far and this is easily top 3 now, next to XTina and Inspire.

It's not outstanding, but I find it quite okayish. A light and sweet peach scent at first, the sweetness slowly fades away with time. It's not the best form Christina's scents, but not the worst either. Just simply okay. I think I won't be thinking about it again though, there are far better and more impressive scents on the market.

Very deep and mature scent, the benzoin and amber are very prominent.. I don't love it like Xtina's other fragrances.. This one is different. Not really my cup of tea. I think this is Christina in her Back To Basic era.. Smells like old lady in a glamour dress. If you are a fun happy person, this is not for you.

Star anise and orange blossom are a couple of my least favorite notes... but I love her perfumes so I'm excited to try this one. Hopefully it will be released in the US right away. I like the gold bottle.

This is a nice one. The star anise gave it a nice twist. A fruity oriental perfume that's very easy to wear. Perfect for fall and winter.

Really reminds me of Kiss by Rihanna, and I love both these perfumes. Just like with Rihanna - wish it was stronger!

First off,whoever designed this bottle,must have been nuts. This thing is absolutely hideous. A piss yellow bottle, black lace design, red writing and a clear cap???? On to the scent. The more I smell this, the more I really, really, really hate this stuff. It's just some really generic, sweet, powdery fragrance with some mild star anise. It's a synthetic mess. It's weak, cheap, and completely forgettable. Not worth the price, or even free for that matter. It's hard to pick out individual notes honestly. Staying power and projection are God awful.

I was expecting a lot from this....but ended up being pretty disappointed. It is very weak and hard to detect.

This one smells so cheap on me. Like super duper cheap. Reminds me of some wood polish.
