Violet Noir

I’ve been using this perfume for years and I am pretty satisfied with it. I love the smell and it lasts a good amount as well, but it isn’t very strong after a few hours. I think the smell can be a bit overwhelming when you first spray it but later it smells really nice!

I smell sugary violets and fruity deliciousness with a touch of amber and musk!!! Longevity and silage are amazing for me! I rarely have to reapply. Wearable year round just go light with it in the summer.

New favorite in my collection. Absolutely love this. All the notes blend perfectly together, gives off this warm and dynamic scent. Little bit on the heavier side, and I love it! <3

It's dark and sweet and fruity. The fruit notes are definitely the strongest because that's where the sweetness comes from. I love the rose though I'm not really catching it but it's good to know that it's there :). The fragrance has moderate longevity and sillage. Definitely a fragrance for winter nights. This is my first Christina Aguilera fragrance. It has great quality but unfortunately it lacks personality and reminds me of some another dark scent that I smelled before. I'm not disappointed anyway. I was comparing the scent to her another new fragrance, Definition, when making the purchase decision. Choosing this fragrance rather than Definition was a safe choice that I'm aware of; Violet Noir clearly smelled very familiar to me instantly and had better components than the more original yet milder Definition but I clearly preferred this one in comparison. I love and stand behind my choice but I wouldn't re-purchase in the future. I'm looking forward to trying more Xtina fragrances.

This is a beautiful tempered fragrance. The notes are well combined and I appreciate it for night time not a day fragrance.It mystifies me somewhat. Well of course it's not a good performer which is not surprising for me given, that none of her perfumes are long lasting and I think she is overrated. There is much better celebrity brands and perfumes then hers like Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Britney Spears,etc,. However the bottle reminds me of a certain French perfume that used to sell in bargain shop. To me, it's not signature quality but for the price I like it.

love at first sniff! very strong and expensive smelling, also very unique. dark and mysterious, sexy in a femme fatale way, not sweet girly. lot of dark patchouli with passion fruit. the only similar perfume out there is Zara violet Noir. this has a remarkable sillage ang longevity - even much better than designer perfumes and the best performance among celebrity perfumes by far. i also have the shower gel and body spray and those are strong powerhouses as well. love it 👍🏻😈

I’m gonna have to agree with a lot of people on this - I don’t know what tf i’m smelling😦 I think it’s very nice, I have even gotten compliments on this, but I definitely don’t smell citrus or nothing sooo do with that as you will. It’s very affordable, and it does not last that long (which is expected), but I think you should try it out honestly🤷♀️ It’s a very unique and dark smell😝

it smells lovely! I can't say anything negative about this perfume smells like grape candy but not at all childish! it smells sweet in a mature way(but not TOO mature if you know what I mean) and it smells sexy and a bit mysterious. actually...this is the only Christina Aguilera perfume I like so far!

musk, rose, patchouli, amber. perfect! Im in love. not at all like celeb scent, not at all like other Christina ́s scents. This smells really high end plus solid staying power. too bad they dont make bigger bottles than 30ml very similar to WOW! by Joop! nad Diamods Club by Armani

When it comes to the smell then i really love it. Its intimste, sexy and for the night. I really love the blend and the top notes too. Only problem is that its weak unfortunately. The silage and longevity are not strong. If u have a dupe with the same blend comment that please.

I really quite like this! It's got an almost savoury aspect and I think it is the blood grapefruit mixed with the patchouli creating that. The iris is definitely there, quite prominent and a bit powdery. It could be stronger, but for what it is I am happy wearing it.

This is the only fragrance that i like of Christina Aguileras fragrances. It is warm and sweet. It reminds me of Dior poison but lighter. I like it but i would not spend money to buy it.

To my nose, this is strikingly similar to Chanel Coco Noir (a special occasion favorite of mine), but without the intensity and length of wear.

I actually really like this.. warm dark and nice..ideal for winter night..it gives you that cosy,sexy mysterious feeling.

light citrusy patchouli with whispers of musky iris. very safe for a "dark" perfume. a little generic but not offensive, i reckon this works for both day and night as it's an intimately projecting scent. however the performance overall on me is fairly bad, even on clothes with overspraying i can barely feel it after an hour. not sure what's up with that since i've been told this is supposed to be one of christina's stronger performers, unless it suffered a formula change. would probably not buy a full bottle regardless.

Yes, it's darker, but feels like that's dragged by mostly the patchouli, which I don't enjoy that much.

I really wanted to like this one simply because im a huge Xtina fan! But I just simply hated it. The scent is pleasant, but nothing groundbreaking or something that would make me excited to apply on over and over again. The lasting power, not even kidding, is the poorest I've ever witnessed in a perfume. 'Rise' by Beyonce held the least lasting fragrance in my opinion but this one took the crown! I sprayed it on, and as soon as I hit downstairs to the kitchen, the scent was barely there! I ended up giving this to my sister as I had it sitting on my shelf for ages. I don't know if she wears it but I do know she liked the scent better than I did, so who knows some people may like this one! It's mainly a plum/orchid smell. Very fresh, feminine and a little sexy. But smells cheap at the same time. I rate this a 4/10, If this was more stronger than I would've been happy with it, the scent itself isn't the issue its the lasting power that's the problem. I think for Xtina to be such an icon and a highly respected musician for so many years, she could've invested more time, testing and money into this one and made the lasting power even slightly better.

On my skin this one is far more on the fruity, sweet side than patchouli - and I'm saying it as a patchouli pro; I like this note and can handle it in heavy doses. I can't really make up my mind about it. It is a relatively dark, sexy, femme fatale scent, but I'd agree it smells quite cheap, synthetic and is extremely headache inducing because of its sweetness. Somehow it reminds me of La Nuit Tresor a la Folie - a similar scent profile and level of sweetness. What is nice about it is a prominent passionfruit note - very intense in the opening and still detectable somewhere in the middle. But then, the synthetic powdery-patchouli takes over and it gets utterly unbearable to me. The deeper to the drydown, the worse. The problem with the patchouli note inside is that it is extremely chemical and sweet, doesn't have the typical patchouli beauty i.e. earthiness, mystery, darkness. Perhaps I could give it a chance and layer on something like Reminiscence Patchouli, but honestly, I don't even feel motivated to try.

The opening is an intensive passion fruit, a bit too much for me, but i am not a passion fruit fan. Soon later, i smell something very sweet and a bit powdery. I also smell a certain fruitness that is not the passion fruit. I guess it is the nectarine blossom. This is not my kind of fragrance, it is a bit too decadent for me, but i can not say it is bad. It is well blended and smells much expensiver than it is. If you are looking for a sweet ( but not overly sweet), sensual and a bit dark winter perfume, Violet Noir may very well be the one for you.

Violet vibes, dark! It doesn't suit me at all. The notes is not blending well on my skin, it's even chaotic. It lasted like 3 to 4 hours. This is some kind of dark vampire scent but nothing is really special if you compare to some other dark scents like Fatale intense/Fatale Orchid which is also very cheap. Sorry to say this but Violet Noir is pretty weak. Overall 3.5/10

It's actually quite nice. The patchouli and passionfruit stand out. Longevity is about 4-5 hours on me. I would say this one stands out in some way from the other CA perfumes, because it is more long lasting and "deeper" if that makes sense.

I don't like this perfume. This is like an old lady scent. Violet is most of the time not good for me.

At first Violet Noir is very sharp and reminiscent of LVEB. I know that some are tired of this comparison but it's true. This is the CA fragrances that claims a share of that market and fragrance family. After a while the scent takes a little detour - instead of warming and sweeten up, Violet Noir stays sharp and even kicks in some more. Along the lines of a patchouli and cedar combination intertwined with grapefruit and passionfruit. Both of these fruits are also somewhat tart/sour which I definitely pick up. Add in the orange blossom and you have an interesting fragrance that could also work well on a man. Rose and iris are rather shy on my skin. The dry down is again more along the lines of said fragrances and I think that this is worth a try for fans of LVEB and/our Scandal by JPG.

This is a very lovely Fruitchouli. I really like how the sweet fruit notes blend with the deeper patchouli and amber notes. When patchouli is balanced out with sweet notes (fruit or gourmand), I really enjoy it. The fruit notes listed in this one are passion fruit and blood grapefruit. Since the fruit note I'm smelling is sweet, its probably the passion fruit I'm detecting. This would be great for a night out (especially in the colder weather - i tend to like my deeper, darker perfumes in the colder months). If you are a fan of Royal Desire by Katie Perry you might like this one too. It's a little less sweet but I feel like they are both great fruitchouli scents. Overall I'm very pleased with this one from the Christina Aguilera collection.

This is the second fragrance I have tried from Christina. I could smell something like florals at the start or citrus and then musk/ amber / patchouli base. Stronger than her touch of seduction. Actually i sprayed in the crook of my elbow and showered it was still there when i got out - not that i had tried to wash it off or anything I am just saying it was there. Evening type scent. I am new to scent recognition. when it is really wearing off its got that generic type sometimes slightly smoky masculine scent that I get wiffs of in Arianna Grandes moonlight, avon luck for her and even bvlgari crystalline the white themed bottle.

This vaguely reminded me of Nina rich rich rich it has a dark fruit smell crossed with riannah perfume just weird not sure if I like it and its like poisen by dior got in there as well? I tried this again today and it smells vaguely like Elizabeth Taylor's passion but a very boring version. There is a laundry detergent tone to it like tender poison used to smell. Slightly like John Galliano edp. I do like it but I feel it smells better in cooler weather. Christina doesnt seem to have anything suitable for hot weather as they all dry down with a powdery finish that would turn stale in hot weather.

I finally got this one and while I only got a small bottle I am So glad I got it. The scent is so sexy and mature. It’s pretty as well. It wears well even on a rainy day. Not so great when it’s very hot and humid but it lingers well. Great staying power. I have smelt it all day on me. Oriental floral fresh with a bit of a coco dry down. But deep down it’s a rich warm floral. Very mature and sexy. One of my faves from Christina.

Nope. Just nope. Christina is actually one of the few celebrities who's fragrances i really like, they're all for the most part mild, inoffensive and easy to wear. But this was like shampoo, plastic and some synthetic chemical that is supposed to be " patchoulli". I scrubbed it off my hand once it started to make me nauseous and I'm glad i didnt go in blind and buy it based off previous experiences with her line

This is the only one I like from Christina. The scent is dark, sweet and seductive, I get nectarine blossom, patch and amber. Unfortunately longevity is not what I hoped for, but the bottle is really pretty and overall it's a nicely blended scent.

I honestly don't know what I'm smelling with this. It lists fruits but I can't pin point any note at all. If I had to describe it, I imagine a prom punch bowl that's been spiked. mysterious and dark. 10/10.

Reminded me of Born in Roma or one direction between us. Maybe just a bit more powdery. Not bad but not sure if I will keep. Longevity isn't great.

I actually like it. It quite dark cozy I don’t know why it reminds me of Burberry black. So surprised me how it nice compared to the price wow👏

I haven't got any Christina Aguilera scent yet, but this new perfume looks verrry promesssing to me :D

Blah. Violet sweetness. If you’re looking for a basic cheapie, this is it.

The scent is not bad but it's very weak. It's like diluted water.
