Edit: I’ve given this one some more time. I’m starting to warm up to it - however at this point it is still poor in performance for the price/hype. It is a nice woody cologne - somewhere between Aventus and Sauvage if I were to simplify it. It has a gorgeous sweet wood as per a Mastic tree reminding me of Greece and a Mastic sparkling water that they have there. Again this is nose to skin. Ironically I received this with Le Couvenent Kynthos which is amazingly similar. I’m laughing at the reviews below, espousing the gift that this is supposed to be to humanity lol - come on the guy (mr Dicas) has a pic of himself in a seductive corny porn pose with exposed nipple - I mean really... yeah, again, it’s nice but not that great and certainly not everlasting in performance as per some votes. And comments about the bottle 🤦♂️ Anyway... Original: Waiting for this one to grow on me. Blind purchase arrived yesterday. Lovely scent though not mind boggling or unique. Being part Greek I was looking forward to the change of mastic that’s even used in sparkling water. Nice and refreshing like a gummy fir resin - super fresh yet warming because of an inherent sweetness - a bit like eucalyptus with out the urinic yellow oiliness. Anyway... I can smell the mastic and it’s inherent woodiness behind a faint lavender though that’s nose to skin. I find this to be a pleasant lavender/Fougere/green/cologne with an ambery darkness and a piquant fir freshness. A bit like a mature Pino Silvestre made with passion and quality ingredients. Having said that it doesn’t perform quite as the marketing would have you believe. I’ll come back if my impression changes.

This one gives me strong vibes of Shiseido's Basala/Basara--a coumarin-rich fougere bolstered at top by a lot of hedione, dihydromyrcenol and subtle herbal touches and with a somewhat resinous, ambery drydown with a tobacco edge. Something Basala has is the presence of one of the coconutty lactones, and I smell a similarly sweet/creamy vibe here. Not that it reads "tropical" or "coconut," but that it shapes the amberiness. A good smelling easy reach and Basala is super expensive now (though really about as expensive as this at full price).

Sweet cashmeran crispy caramel... I keep on detecting sweetness creamy gourmand-ish then some whiffs of bitter woody tobacco comes along, so it's more of a back and forth.. I detect Cashmeran suede, vanilla, caramel, bay leaf, very oakmoss, patchouli, basil, tobacco ashes, sage, & alot of big mastic powder. It is not a groundbreaking blend although i had high hopes when i read their description on luckyscent which obviously didn't meet, so i think it's ok, nothing more.

This is the 2nd scent I tried from this house. As with 69, this is a clone-quality house. The notes are synthetic and sharp, typical of clone houses. Lavender here is the cheap kind. The basil note ruins it for me. The citric top is a joke. The spicy and smoke background destroys the character of the scent. This is a good beginner’s scent. And Eur200 for 50 ml? Are they kidding? EUR50 for 50 ml is really pushing it with this quality
