Cindy Crawford Feminine

Beautiful balance between masculine and feminine smell. Nostalgic yet modern. Very woody and spicy. Beautiful. Sad that it's discontinued.

Decided to give this a try even though I don't like water lilies and pepper in a perfume. It gives the perfume a certain sharpness that I tend to dislike. It smells a little bit like a men's cologne when spritzing it on. After two minutes or so you can barely notice that you're wearing it. The sillage is very poor. After about 20 minutes the initial sharpness of the waterlilies and pepper will mostly be gone. I can somewhat smell the sandalwood. I haven't been able to distinguish any of the middle notes. It reaches dry-down stage very quick. Overall this perfume is not fresh and bright enough for me. The dry-down isn't as manly as the top notes, but it's far from feminine as well. Nothing interesting.

The fragrance does not smell bad, but gives me a really bad headache. Like a heavy fist in your face.

Its quite ironic that this perfume named "feminine" smells like a mans perfume.

This fragrance is a mess. It starts out with apple and water lily with just a hint of bergamot and pepper. Unbalanced and a tad soapy. After a few minutes the jasmine comes in but in my opinion it doesn't sit well with the water lily. After a while the scent developes into a lovely airy jasmine grounded by the tiniest touch of pepper before soft gardenia and later freesia take over. Those three phases are very very nice but also very short-lived. Finally there's a really nice mahogani. The only problem is that I get the first quick whiffs only one and a half hours in. I look at them as interfering rather than supportive of the florals. Not much else to say about the dry-down. If I'm trying very hard I can detect a pinch of amber and even some patchouli at the very end. With 3-4 hours the staying power is pretty poor.

A very soft smooth and - YES - feminine fragrance. Somehow it's reminiscent to Chanel Allure edp but weaker and without the cedar/vetiver base. Actually it has a greater depth than C A. I find it very lovable. If someone gave me a bottle I would probably use it from time to time and really enjoy it, but it would have to be a really big bottle :) because the scent itself is so soft and the lasting power is poor. I'd guess this is a fragrance most men would love on a woman, and not only because it's a Cindy Crawford fragrace.

To be honest...i think it is very feminine...but weak..not impressive at all..
