Enforced Modesty

I’m sitting on a balcony. The air is fresh, aromatic. There’s a garden below, lush and full of herbs and a single mandarin tree. The orange stands out against the green. Ivy and laurels creep up the marble of the balcony and the day is so clear. I have a bowl of figs next to me and my fingers smell sweet like the fruit. I am hidden from the world but very much a part of the living organism that is earth. ⋆ ̊꩜.ᐟ This is a new favorite scent. Something about this is so addicting, green, and new. The marble note is my favorite - it brings so much mineral and fresh dimension to this lush scent. To me it doesn’t give Christmas at alllll, especially with the hint of orange. Beautiful scent. I want a full bottle so bad!

i got this in the sample set and i'm pleased to say that i've found a green fragrance that i'd love my boyfriend to wear. to my nose this doesn't feel completely unisex, it definitely leans masculine. it's green in such a cooling way, probably due to the marble note. it feels like i'm walking through a museum where they use real plants for decoration instead of those typical plastic ones. it's slightly sweet but in a tea-like manner. overall it's just so calming and perfect for humid climates. i'll definitely be buying a full bottle for my boyfriend in the future since his nose isn't sensitive and he's not picky with fragrances 𑣲⋆。 ̊

Reminds me of The Noir 29 by le labo but more elegant/green. The marble note really comes through to me. Brings me back to my grandma's office, watching birds land in her garden fountain. My grandma had many perfumes id smell around her house that this reminds me of, but it's more fresh and wearable as a guy too. Love this, hope to get a full bottle when restocked!

This is a very unique perfume— but I have to agree it smells more like cinnamon hearts than it does marble, ivy, and the officially listed notes to me (but I can still see that interpretation). I plan to test this in other weather/seasons to see if I can get another side to this perfume, but it’s definitely not what I expected. Make sure you test it first!

Smells kind of like Christmas, kind of like a bowl of potpourri, kind of like a sculpture in the middle of a magical, overgrown greenhouse... It's somehow cold but green at the same time. I'm a little bit dazzled.

i love the mineralic elements of this fragrance. it evokes exactly what the story on the website listing says— marble statue in a garden with ivy and laurels. the thyme is just enough (i was a little worried about it!) it has a vintage tinge to it as well. the marble is the star. i do wish i got a little more lilac. it has a coldness to it that reminds me of sitting somewhere like the getty villa on the edge of a marble fountain and being misted by it

Cirrus Enforced Modesty is camphorous and green fragrance with a vintage barbershop quality that immediately feels familiar, like a hug from your freshly shaven grandfather. It brings back warm, fuzzy memories, but still manages to stay composed and elegant. I genuinely love this one and cannot wait to add a full bottle to my collection.

it's really strange because the only thing I smell is Valentine's cinnamon hearts.
