Martha's Vineyard

WOW this is signature scent worthy. Drys down to a deep Tabaco with light fruity plum on top. Masculine yet soft and gentle. This is unisex but more manly than you would expect. Unique yet nostalgic, you can wear year round. 2nd best I have smelled from this house behind San Diego but I have more to smell. Wearing at the office today and I know I smell good and not like anyone else. UPDATE seeing everyone compare this to Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 40....Now i have to drive to Ulta Beauty to smell that....Update: it does smell like that cheap ulta stuff cherirosa...that stuff smells cheaper with a hard opening and the woody smell from it smells synthetic. Marthas Vineyard is refined and elegant...not a cheap body spray. That said 190 vs a 30 body spray for 90% same is rough. Curious to buy cheriosa and layer it

One of the smoothest City Rhythm fragrances in the line. The opening blends juicy plum and bright orange with a creamy touch of coconut, and it dries down into a soft, sweet vanilla that feels incredibly refined. What I love is that it isn’t just a summer fragrance. The smoothness carries it nicely into the cooler months of fall. Performance wise, it stays closer to the skin, so don’t expect beast mode like some of the other heavy hitters in the line. Still, it captures the essence of Martha’s Vineyard beautifully. When I wear it, I feel like I’m overlooking a stunning view off the Massachusetts coast. A beautiful fragrance all around, though I do wish it projected a bit more on my skin. 8.5/10

The opening for this is a creamy almost milky coconut with a beautiful plum note that shines through, the orris makes this slightly powdery but not to the point where it smells like a perfume bag. Then during the dry down that tobacco starts to shine through along with that vanilla that genuinely makes it the best smelling one in the entire CR collection, the only downside is the performance is lowkey buns as i got 6 hours on skin. While I've never been to Martha vineyard this does give me general vineyard vibes.

I find it smells similar to creamy vanilla ice cream, with a hint of plum (or grape) with a hint of citrus and an undertone of coconut. The smells of the notes does not seem synthetic and appear high quality. I find it unisex. Elegant, refined and pleasant. I would recommend, the price is slightly high but not too bad for what you get. This one is really solid and I would understand it being someone's favorite or go to fragrance. My favorite from City Rhythm. Will rebuy.

I don’t typically post reviews because fragrance is so subjective, however, Martha’s Vineyard has compelled me. It is fantastic, and for me, one of the best in the line. It is fruity and slightly sweet - transparent yet substantial - ozonic yet grounding. Think of an airy, semi-sweet fruity and musky bubble that surrounds you for hours. It is unique and long lasting. I have over 2,000 bottles in my collection and this stands out as special.

This is such a pleasant, cozy smell. I find it to be unisex and enjoy wearing it myself (as a man). I think you can wear it anytime and personally enjoy wearing it to bed. I agree that it smells so similar to Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 40. I would say within 90% from start through dry down. Having said that, I think there is something that makes it smell a little more elevated, more refined, and less synthetic.

Swear I can’t be the only one that thinks this smells like dr teals melatonin spray or it just reminds me when I used it about 2 years ago. Honestly just ordered it today to see if it’s identical which I hope cuz smelling this and it helping me fall asleep is perfect since the scent is so calm and powdery sweet, must try. Also I don’t see this being good for summer 🤷♂️

If u guys have ever had those Chinese guava candy imagine that in a cologne it’s honestly probably my most favorite fragrance of my whole collection u just have to wear it’s so nice smooth and it feels like u won’t ever get tired of it. Honestly 10/10 def my fav city rhythm I would buy another bottle when this thing starts running out.

Smells like a high quality SDJ 40, much stronger and longer lasting. I get 1 hour max from SDJ 40, while Martha’s Vineyard lasts around 10 hours on me with about 5 hours of working projection. The projection is still pretty light and airy, though. I’d say it leans more towards cooler weather than summer, but it works great year-round.

Very unique and long lasting like all the City Rhythm fragrances I have tried. Possibly my favourite house at the moment because of this. The driftwood note in the drydown really stands out for me and gives a summery boardwalk vibe, but I could easily wear this all year. Also beautiful bottle and juice with the CR shimmer.

This is a perfect summer fragrance. Plummy vanilla spicy with some tobacco nuances that pushes with the heat. This is not a winter fall fragrance, it would be a soft siliage fragrance in the cold. This was made for heat, although you can wear it in the office as it’s safe enough. 10 plus hour monster. Just beautiful

This is a beautiful, rich, creamy vanilla coconut and plum combo. I get mainly coconut and vanilla with less plum but still enough to make it stand out. This is a great winter and fall fragrance

Wow, I am in love with this one! It’s a perfect fragrance I think you could literally wear every day of the year. Soft vanilla and plum with a hint of tobacco, so so good!

The opening and mid smells completely unique to anything I've smelled. The far drydown smells almost exactly like Unmute from that new brand at Ulta, Noyz.

I went in looking for City Rhythm Miami and left with this. Loved it on skin. Just wish it projected more.

I picked up both Miami and Martha’s Vineyard yesterday. I tested them side by side, one on each arm, and both smelled fantastic. Today, I gave Vineyard a few sprays on my neck and throat, but I barely notice it. I only get a faint ozonic, slightly sweet, musky scent and that’s about it. It is an office-safe scent. Does Vineyard come across as a softer fragrance with moderate to poor projection, more on the intimate side? What is your experience with it? It has absolutely zero sillage in my case. Scent: 8, Sillage: 0 , Longevity: 3 hours on skin, Hype: 120/10

After one wearing from a 2ML decant I had to get a full bottle. Clean and sweet. I can’t really pick up much plum or coconut but it’s a very fruity/sweet gourmand bomb. The CR DNA will always stand out above all

What a nice fragrance........ It unfortunately while great smells very similar to sol de Janerio.

Should have listened to the people who said this smells like Cheriosa 40. If you are into that, this may be a bit of an upgrade, with more powdery notes. It's not a bad fragrance but it's not giving new experience. The Martha's Vineyard reference is cute.

To me it smell like a grandma whose baking some vanilla pastry.

To me it smells like rubbing alcohol and sadness. I’ve tried to wear it on numerous occasions and I’m just severely disappointed every time. This was the biggest disappointment of the year for me and I bought something else that smells like the undercarriage of a sumo wrestler who just ate 30 lbs of Taco Bell and forgot to wipe. At least that one smelled like something. City Rhythm makes some of my favorite fragrances, but this just wasn’t it. I was even going to try to get another bottle, but a friend of mine got a decant of MV and his smelled exactly the same as mine so I seriously doubt that it had anything to do with the batch. I guess you can’t win them all. 0.1/10 and that’s being generous.

Yeah it's an Uber expensive dupe of Cheriosa. If it wasn't for Puerto Rico, Barcelona and New Orleans this would be the worst of the house. But at least this is tolerable unlike those others which are downright horrendous. And anyone that says this transports you to Martha's Vineyard has definitely never been to Martha's Vineyard. Absolutely nothing about this reminds me of that place. Nothing. Save your money and just buy Cheriosa.

This one is weird. Not feeling it. My wife and I both smelled the decant and was like, NOPE ! We have 2654, Miami, and San Diego...... but this one was a FAWK NO ! OH ! THIS IS NOT A MARSHMALLOW FRAGRANCE! Coconut, orange, and plum...... odd

I purchased the CR sampler set and this one was a no at first. But I fell in love with the house. So many amazing scents. So naturally I revisited this one. I wore it one day for work. I really enjoyed its soft vanilla like vibe. After work sitting in the backyard with my wife the wind blew, she stated she liked what I was wearing. I told her it was Martha’s Vineyard and I was surprised it was still noticeable since I sprayed it in the morning. I was sold right then. I bought a full bottle. Great spring summer night scent.

Absolutely beautiful perfume!! It’s as if it was created for me. This perfume took me by surprise because when I first did a wear test I immediately liked it, but an hour later I kept smelling it, and the intensity of the perfume appeared to have increased! As I was testing other perfumes, this one continued to rise above all the others so of course it went home with me. My favorite note in this is the plum. I met Niles in person, so kind and friendly!!

Upscale better blended SDJ 40 with a masculine edge. More appropriate for Cooler weather I think. It did pull very Tobac on my skin. Nice plum note. But the plum and woods just gave me SDJ 40 immediately. Sample first this one smells a little different on many people.

This is gorgeous.... Period. A blind buy for me and even better than I expected. Happy this is also a fall scent...it’s that damn good.

I haven’t tried this yet but the bottle is gorgeous
