So this fragrance seems to be love-hate. I ordered this cologne directly from City Rhythm and only got 10ml to try out before committing to a full bottle. The shipping was fast and only took about 3 days for the order to be fulfilled. The 10ml bottle is nice with a decent atomizer. The opening of this fragrance is very sugary and sweet and it's hard to pick out the different notes unless you try to. For some reason though I just like this fragrance. The projection and longevity are ok nothing too good but not bad. I think that when I run out of my 10ml I will order a full bottle unless I find something else like this for around the same price. this cologne offers something different from what I normally see with citrus and green Niche fragrances and is what I've been looking for. I do not see myself wearing this any time but the hot days of summer or on vacation as it's just too sweet. I think you need to try this before you commit to a full bottle as it seems some people love it or hate it. I don't understand the comments about it smelling like cheap suntan lotion. As the fragrance evolves over time it becomes even better with that sweetness starting to die down it becomes this sexy and wonderful fragrance. I was even able to smell this after I woke up so it lasted me around 12 hours. Overall I really like this fragrance and I will probably get a full bottle when I run out of my 10ml. Smell: 8/10 Projection: 6/10 Longevity: 9/10

Ok, so I heard about this house through a social media fragrance reviewer, back when it was in the older bottles. It was always touted as a hard to beat collection killer that everyone just must have. I finally gave in and ordered a full 50ml bottle of Miami and Manhattan from City Rhythm. Today, I wore Miami. Let me tell you, the hype was well deserved. This scent is incredible! For one it's one of my only scents that actually LASTS on my skin, could still pick up notes of it on myself 6hr later. And it wasn't overwhelming to the point of causing a headache, either. Not just the projection but the scent itself. I have a couple of these somewhat boozy margherita on the beach kind of inspired scents. Often they're either unbalanced and end up smelling like like or synthetic coconut, or are so overwhelming they smell like sunscreen. Not this one! Perfectly balanced. It's sweet in a gentle way, not a poppy way. It's enticing, all of the big notes are recognizable without overshadowing the others. Coconut, lime, sweet sugar and soft mellow tobacco with just enough booziness to round it out. This is a rare 10/10 scent, no holds barred. Would give it an 11 if I could. Silage - 10/10 Longevity - 10/10 Scent - 10/10 Value - 10/10 (50ml for $130 but a couple sprays will last you, reasonable for niche house) Overall - every bit a 10 out of 10. Absolute respect to the creator.

I bought this as a blind buy after trying some other coconut focused fragrances, like VIW, as I wanted a new summer scent that lasted a long while and that wasn't generic (ie I have an addiction). First spray had a wow factor. I immediately knew I will like it a lot. This fragrance smells similar to what the composition says: zesty coconut at first, very VERY nice tabacco+rum on the dry down. It gives me SWY/absolutely vibes, but it's a very unique mix of very different notes. Though this is not mishmash of random notes. It's unique, blended extremely good, smells intoxicating and the composition feels very intentional and nice (yes, it gives Miami vibes). Cannot smell any synthetic chemicals, oils, etc. This feels like something you would wear to smell best in any occasion or situation. Atomic performance (10-12h on my skin, days on clothes), everyone will smell you, it can be cloying in high heat, but I wouldn't worry and do 4 sprays max. I bought 100ml for 170EUR, the price is VERY good, so don't be misled by other people, this smells extremely good and sophisticated, so the price is justified easily. I would say that this is more of a blind buy worthy, than most of the designer fragrances, but I would recommend sampling it still. Oh, the bottle is high quality and atomizer is top tier. Hope I did not miss out anything. 11/10

Unbiased review: First day meh, felt just feminine leaning sweet, let it sit for a week and turned smooth, miami has 3 fases, the really fresh tropical opening with the lime and creamy coconut, you might not tell the coconut apart, its well blended, then the lime disappears after 1-2h and you have this creamy cocktail coconut vibe, this part lasts the most on skin, then the drydown, masculine leaning, heavy tobacco leaf and rum, really dry tobacco not exaggerating, this is where it turns into a skin scent, ill give you a tip, you want this heavy part to last? its been on my sweater for 2 weeks and it feels like it was sprayed on the same hour, do what you do with these. Not a safe blind bind for sure, specially if you don't like scents that are sweet, this is not a vanilla sweet, as you can point sugar cane, and also if you don't like fragrances that change a lot through the day. It projects really well on the first 3-4 hours then it starts calming down, by the 6th hour the tobacco dry down takes it for hours feeling like your "natural smell".

Just received my full bottles of Miami and Martha’s Vineyard. I gave Miami a first spray, and it smells absolutely beautiful. I’ll share my full thoughts after a proper test. Update (17.10.25): I’m wearing Miami today and have already received a compliment from a colleague. It smells beautiful, sweet, but not overly so. The projection and longevity are both impressive. It’s been six hours since I applied it, and the scent is still going strong. It filled the room earlier, and even now, six hours later, it still smells distinctly of Miami in here. By contrast, Martha’s Vineyard also has a lovely, powdery scent with good longevity, but its sillage and projection are quite weak — it stays mostly at skin level. My ratings for Miami: Scent: 9 Longevity: 9 Sillage: 7 Projection: 8 (a solid 8, it projects well without being overpowering or intrusive) Would I buy this fragrance again? Yes, definitely. However, it’s not easy to find in Europe; as far as I know, the stores are only located in the Netherlands and Norway within EU.

I don't have a ton of bottles, maybe 40. This is the only fragrance I have bought that has stunned me. Love at first sniff I sprayed it on a piece of paper at work after I opened the package. A female co worker with a desk next to mine asked me what the hell was wrong with me continually smelling a piece of paper. I handed it to her and asked her opinion, without saying a word walked away and ended up smelling the paper herself for the rest of the day. Yes, she ordered a bottle before the day was over. This one can lean unisex and would smell equally amazing on a woman as a man. This is as close to a tropical vacation in a bottle that you will find. I won't make a long review talking about the notes, just do yourself a favor and buy this one!! If you don't want to drop $140 for a 50ml bottle, you can grab an extremely generous 10ml for $30... in reality it's closer 20 + ml. Bottom line, if you want an amazing summer scent that is an absolute beast performer this is the ticket

This wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting much more coconut. Like a creamy coconut. It was much more like than expected. It open up with a sweet lime with light coconut and the saffron. As it sits the sweetness does start ramping up and as the lime tones down the boozy and tobacco notes start to come up. The angry lime with a coconut undertone develops as it becomes more deep amber. The amber from this reminds me of banana Republic dark cherry amber except in a higher quality. On dry down it's dark amber , boozy. Slight lime with coconut. This does smell different in the air than on the skin. In the air it smells great. It's like everything toned down but creamier . It's a good thing this is on the strong side. Not beast mode projection but you have to be careful with how much you spray . 5 sprays is enough . I'd suggest 3 or 4. I can't say much bad about this . I just wish it was more creamy coconut but that's just my personal taste for this. It's solid. 7/10

I don't really like summer fragrances, I think winter fragrances have more potential to be interesting, but this is just really nice. I will say, it makes me kind of sick to my stomach just a tiny bit. I'm pretty sure it's because I hate the taste of coconut and the smell isn't a lot better, but I love the smell so much that I literally don't even care. I don't have good skin chemistry and this lasts a minimum of 8 hours on me. I also don't seem to go noseblind to this, at least not completely, which is always disappointing when you spend money on something that smells good and then you can't even smell it. If you're bothered by the cost, save up for it and then buy it. I really can't see anyone not liking this but it's ALWAYS good practice to sample first, so go with the 10ml bottle just in case. Unfortunately there's no smaller one. Overall, my favorite summer fragrance (not as if I'm super experienced or have many fragrances) and I highly recommend it

There’s a reason why everyone is slobbering all over this stuff. It’s got full on South Beach vacation vibes. The coconut and lime opening makes me want to head to LIV and shake my ample booty 💃🕺. That first spray is a serious head turner. Everyone in my office who got a whiff wanted a squirt for themselves💦. I will say the middle is a little plain on my skin, but maybe I’m a little nose blind because the top is so overwhelming (in a really good way). The base, however, is what I really love about Miami. Rum, tobacco, tonka bean and cedar mixed together this well sits on my skin in an unbelievable way. One time it smells powdery. The next time it’s sweet rum. I just dig this. A lot. Performance kicks ass too. I ordered a 10ml from their website just to see if the hype was worth it. It is. The New Orleans version not so much...but that’s a different story for another time. Definitely sample this. At least. Pitbull says so too

Absolutely amazing fragrance from what I can gather so far. Of course, the scent is best suited for warmer weather so I have not gotten the chance to truly experience it in its element. However, I very much enjoy the scent itself even in colder weather. On my skin the main notes I pick up on are the lime, coconut and rum for an absolutely intoxicating combination. The floral notes are picked up on in the background with them coming out more around 30-45 minutes into the life of the fragrance. Such an addicting scent. This one is in my top 3 from the house alongside Austin (for it being, to my nose, a more masculine Killian Angels Share) and New Orleans (for simply how unique it smells). Tempo would be in my top 4. Overall, love what Niles has done with the house so far and can't wait for what he does next!

With top notes primarily being of coconut, saffron, and a hint of lime; this fragrance is fairly unique. Unlike other coconut fragrances, this has a very synthetic and pungent sweetness for an opening that can almost seem abrasive. After about 10-20 minutes, it does die down. Once you hit your middle and eventual base notes, you have a fragrance that brings you to a cool/warm tropical night at the beach. I’d recommend this for a warm summer day (70 to 80 degrees) as wearing this is blazing or humid heat may cause the fragrance to be rather choking. From my experience: Longevity: 4-9 hours Silage: Around two feet in the first hour and a half, then around half a foot until around the five and a half hour mark, finally becoming a skin scent for the remainder of its longevity. 8.5/10

1. Fragrantica needs to add the other fragrances from this house. I’ve smelled and worn St. John, which is a love for me, because I enjoy tropical fragrances. 2. Niles does not pay for reviews. I’m merely someone who has smelled some of the fragrances and he takes pride in what he’s pouring his heart into. 3. As I mentioned City Rythms makes great fragrances. I’ve never received anything gratis and I’ve paid my own dollars not only to support this brand, but I enjoy the fragrances. Some people make assumptions and they couldn’t be more wrong. 4. Chemistry plays a huge part in how something smells. So people need to keep that in mind before trashing an entire brand. Maybe it’s your chemistry that just isn’t working with whatever you sprayed.🤷🏽

First spray I was blown away and grew to love it more. It opens up with a burst of lime and coconut with some saffron along with a lil booziness, then dries down to a coconut limey vanilla woody musky fragrance with more booziness, this is a great all year round (especially in the summer and spring) with a reasonable price. I recommend buying the travel size because the 3 oz and 2 oz are pretty spendy. Besides that its amazing, its sweet, citrusy, boozy, tropical, and more. You'd just have to smell it for yourself. Baaallllright! this my favorite fragrance in my almost 100 bottle collection (among some others) this is a beautiful floral and sweet/spicy experience, this is the perfect scent to summer wear, but in my opinion you can pull it off any time of year, because of the coconut and the sugar cane, it gets this very unique sweetness that people get captivated, caught and interested in. I personally have gotten a lot of compliments with this. But let me clear something up. This does not smell like Red Line 2654, i dont get why some people compare the two, Red Line 2654 is way more floral, and a different type of sweet. But if you have the chance, go try the hell out of it.

I find this absolutely intoxicating. I can't help but continually smell my wrist throughout the day. What I love about this is that every smell (literally) takes you on a journey. Tops out with heavy citrus, saffron and coconut that are blended so well it rolls over your senses smoothly; immediately, it begins to transform into something softer, boozier, sweet and floral. That particular combination is so intoxicating and sexy - I am extremely impressed and urge everyone to sample this. This is great for hot sunny days near water and will perform exceptionally well if worn on a night out in the tropics. Seriously, I fucking love this stuff.

This IS Miami in a bottle! The notes captures the vibes from the Caribbean, Africa, Europe & Asia. I absolutely love the tartness of the lemon, purity & oiliness of coconut, healing of Saffron, sassy sweetness blended w/ the cacao, tobacco, jasmine & sugar reminds me of the sugar cane fields, my grandmother’s garden and the sexy ambiance of Carnival. Another reviewer mentioned too much going on... well, I think otherwise! Miami itself is the cosmopolitan of ALL things too much (for some)! Influences from all walks of life flock to the city and Miami by City Rhythm fragrance captures it all! Pam🇹🇹

Other than the first time I ever had my nose on Aventus, Miami is only other fragrance that has "moved" me. This is a favorite of mine and I reach for it often. It is absolutely my longest lasting fragrance. If you spray your clothing, do not be surprised if you can still smell it after washing the clothing. It is not overpowering as far as projection, but rest assured it will be noticed by others around you. The sillage is incredible. When outside on a hot summer day, the warm wind really swirls this around. Miami is an absolute work of art and I truly cannot say enough good things about it.

A successful blind buy. Based off the notes and the suggestions that it smells like Virgin Island Water, I had to try it. Was concerned it'd be too feminine for my tastes, but this perfectly unisex. After the initial 15 minutes (lime and saffron is a great combination), it dries down to a summertime version of Triumph of Bacchus from Argos. That is one of my favorite fragrances ever, and I didn't even notice until just now that it's already listed in the "reminds me of" section. Longevity and projection are top-notch; this stuff is good. Smells like vacation with your lover. 9/10

Smells amazing; this deserves the hype, as it is a unique, high-quality, sweet, and tropical scent with great projection and excellent longevity. However, I find that it can be cloying, with a slightly synthetic smell and a little annoying. If you're anything like me, you appreciate fragrances that smell more realistic and don't want to bother anyone with your fragrance, so I prefer 2654, which isn't cloying or synthetic and smells more toned-down, mature and versatile. However, if you are trying to make an impression or commonly overspray, I highly recommend you sample.

Very sweet. Very prominent lime rum/mojito with a slightly less prominent coconut with a slight spicy tobacco in the base. This is a very citrus forward fragrance and is great for summer. The slightly spiciness from the tobacco separates this from Creed Virgin Island Water which I really loved - and hence why I bought a large decant of City Rhythm Miami. The tobacco (a note which I generally hate) is well incorporated to contrast with the sweetness makes it lean more masculine whilst being not polarising. Scent: 9.5/10 Performance is pretty good too.

Aight so this ain’t a bad fragrance. You get that lime and coconut in the opening immediately. Sweet sprite lime. Then the mid gets weird, idk what it is. then the base is a sweet vanilla with a little tobacco. I don’t get any rum. Idk If I’d purchase a full bottle. It’s nice, but not worth $150. Now this is my first wearing, So that might change. Also, it’s a little too sweet for me. Like I might give it to my wife. The whiffs I’m getting smell good but I feel like it would smell better on a woman. And I wouldn’t say this is Miami in a bottle.

City rhythm miami is a sugary sweet coconut cocktail on the beach. i get strong lime and coconut in the opening with some spice, rum, and sugar in the background. Definitely packs a punch. When it drys down i get more of vanilla quality to it with some fruitiness coming out bc of the ylang-ylang. I enjoy this one a lot in the summer i would go lighter on the sprays though maybe 4-6 it is quite strong. This easily last 10 hours on my skin with some strong projection. Absolutely perfect vacation fragrance. I like it a lot, gets a 8.6/10 for me.

My favourite fragrance of all time. This made me fall in love with fragrances back in 2023. It is a powerhouse and incredibly versatile. Tropical confessions is a little too boozy for me and less versatile but the regular Miami can be worn all times of the year. It’s so energetic and fun. Perfectly blended. I prefer this over VIW or any of its dupes because Miami has a prominent rum note undercut by a smooth tobacco and spice from the saffron. There’s more depth to this. It’s so unique. I’ve been complimented a few times on this fragrance.

Beautiful fragrance! It is fresh in a way but not your typical "freshie". It's not light and airy, it is a dense tropical beauty. Performance will be the least of your worries with this one (as with all CR frags) and the best part a out It is you aren't limited to just summer, this thing will work in cool weather as well! The lime gives it just enough of a tart citrus feel to make it tangy and the coconut comes in with a creamy feel with the rum giving you some underlying warmth. It's just a great frag man! 100% unisex.

Got a few samples from the house and couldn't make up my mind between Miami, Tropical Confesions and 2654 and while I couldn't go wrong with either one, I'm so glad I went with this one. This has been BY FAR my most complemented fragrance and it's not even close. The combination of the citrusy lime and the coconut at the start is amazing! But the magic happens when the Rum and Sugar Cane notes come up. I see some comparison to JPG le Beau but I promise is not even close! This is a type of fragrance worth Gatekeeping.

For me, this is a fragrance for summer evenings and nights. It's not that it doesn't work during the day, but the rum and tobacco accord makes it more suitable for casual evening gatherings with friends over a drink or dinner rather than a beach scent for swimsuits. I happened to have Dolce Amalfi by Xerjoff on hand when I wore it. I sprayed DA over it as well and was pleasantly surprised by the result. It was probably the only layering attempt I've made that made sense. The result was a scent of eggnog. 😎

THIS PERFUME IS A BEAST. It’s insanely sweet, but manages to stay fresh, it was 100% created for summer clubbing, or summer night gettogethers. It can be a little bit cloying, but also intoxicating. DON’T OVERSPRAY. 1 spray, and it’s enough to fill a smaller room. If you ask me if it worth buying, well , if you are rich, or want to try different niche fragrances than yes, if you want a crowd pleasing summer scent, than def not. Definitely sample it before buying if you aren’t like gambling(like me).

It's beautiful. I've been searching years for a signature scent and I've finally found it. This is so dreamy and well blended. I always get compliments. I see this being compared to other scents. This is unique and different. I've tried every fragrance this has been compared to and nothing comes close. This smells absolutely nothing like Baccarat Rouge 540, nor is this scent any more synthetic than the average niche fragrance. I can detect notes that are listed. I don't like BR 540 but I love this.

Was not expecting so much hate on this in the comments. you really can’t go wrong with any of the city rhythm fragrances. city rhythm miami is definitely one of the best and is sooo freaking good you can wear literally anywhere. this is my top compliment getter in my collection so far and performs amazing during the spring. this is more underrated if anything but can agree you should sample first. off rip it has an interesting smell but once u spray it on it’s very soft and projects so perfectly.

I am excited to see this house finally listed on Fragrantica. I have had and loved my bottle of Miami for a little under a year and it is beautiful. The performance is fantastic due to the Extrait concentration, and the notes are complex enough to keep this from being your typical fruity coconut. The rum, the light touch of florals, the tobacco, all combine with the coconut and sugars to give this fragrance levels and depth that have me getting compliments all day when I wear it!

This fragrance was legitimately placed inside my top 3 of all time 1 day after purchasing, and I love it just as much to this day. This absolutely has that VIW lime and coconut, but it also has that BR540 saffron, and an added rum, Tonka, and sugary vibe. This is the perfect definition of a true "unisex" fragrance, but literally all of Niles' fragrances are. Go to his website and snag a sample if you're interested... or hell, grab a full bottle. It's absolutely a safe blind buy.

I work in the food industry and when I visit my various accounts I’m often in their kitchen speaking with the owners chefs etc. not a day goes by that when I’ve selected Miami that I don’t get a compliment. I literally get multiple compliments from male and females that I smell awesome. I’m starting to feel like I’m a salesperson for City Rhythm because of how many times I’ve had to tell my customers their website. Thank you guys for marking suck great scents.

Amazing coconut, lime, rum, and saffron fragrance that is perfect for summer. It is completely unisex and while a full bottle might seem expensive, it is 100% worth it for the quality and longevity of this fragrance. It projects like crazy and lasts 12+ hours. My favorite summer fragrance and I do get the slight similarity to br540 but city rhythm Miami gives the tropical twist to it. Love love love this fragrance and I recommend it to everyone. 9.6/10

It arrived at my house, I opened the box sniffed it and sprayed on my hand and I ordered the biggest bottle they had (50 ml at the time) 30 mins later! It's is 100% unisex, lasts forever, and is south beach in a bottle! All of that I can guarantee. Whether you like the smell is up to you but I absolutely love it! Go get a 2ml sample from the site then you can see for yourself.

I blind bought this fragrance and absolutely love it! It smells like a coconut-lime rum drink on the beach. It’s jaw-dropping, performs like a beast, lasts almost all day, and gets compliments left and right. Highly recommended, especially for teenagers and young adults. It’s great as a party fragrance or as an everyday summer scent. I especially recommend it to anyone who loves a coconut note or is looking for a signature summer fragrance. 11/10

This gorgeous gem is by far the best warm weather fragrance I own, or have ever owned. This bangs in the heat and humidity. Don’t sleep on this one, it’s pure magic! This is an absolute masterpiece. Considering the ingredients, it’s masterfully blended. Easily my most complimented fragrance. Women ask me what I am wearing where ever I go. This is kind of if you took Le Beau Le Parfum from JPG and put it on steroids and also made it very boozy. Seriously this thing lasts forever on my skin and projects like a beast. Got the 10 ML sample and will be buying a full bottle soon. First impression of Miami Extrait Parfum by City Rhythm: it opens bright and tropical with citrus lime and creamy coconut, then evolves into a sweet, boozy rum-and-sugar warmth with subtle floral and amber undertones — overall giving a sun-soaked, tropical beach vibe with good longevity and noticeable projection. Beautiful and 12 plus hour fragrances with 7 hours of solid siliage.

I got a sample of this cologne after I told myself I was done with buying fragrances and now I am in need of a full bottle of this. I went to Miami last summer and this would have for sure been the cologne I would wear walking the streets of south beach Miami. This fragrance is the only one i have smelled out of this house but its a solid 9/10

The king of warm weather scents. Tropical in nature but very versatile. Boozy coconut rum with just a hint of lime and exotic florals. Best summer composition ever created. Longevity is huge, it radiates off skin and leaves a trail that will transport anybody in your wake to a tropical island. If you don't know yet, you are missing out!!!

Boy oh boy, this is an amazing fragrance. I can't get enough. The smell of coconut is amazing with a freshness that I can't explain. This is in my top favorites. I really recommend this fragrance. People hate it but I love it. City Rhythm is a great house and I also recommend Manhattan and Tropical confessions.

So apparently this has been reformulated. The juice color is not a bright red from pictures of bottles I’ve seen from the past but is a light reddish tint. That being said this is a very refreshing sweetish scent that I love. The performance is great after 8 hours and still going. Coconut, Sugary lime scent. 👍

Wow, this is one of the most beautiful fragrances I’ve ever smelled. I instantly got a hit of lime and coconut sweetness. This fragrance will definitely be in full swing during the summertime. The initial spray is wonderful, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the dry down on my skin. I rate it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5).

This stuff is actually insane. It’s just perfect I don’t know how else to say it. Smells like a piña colada in a bottle. Perfectly blended and unisex as well. Blown away by this. Only possible issue could be the price, but honestly if I am dropping over $150 on a fragrance, it’s going to be this one.

This is a beautiful blended creamy coconut, sweet and zesty fragrance. The opening reminds me of a refreshing cocktail on the beach overseas, with the dry down becoming a thicker sweetness, similar to that of a muesli bar. Im not sure if I'm noseblind to it but the performance is fairly mediocre.

Very good! Opening with lime, moving onto drydown, Its very much lime, sugar, coconut and some boozines. I get very good projection and its not overwhelming. Slap this on a hot summer day and you are good. This is a clear 9/10 for me and for summer scents this is the best one i have tried 10/10.

All season near beastmode coconut, lime sweet smell. Thick and dense and you only need a few full sprays (1-3) to last you all day and more. Good price for scent, smell, and performance (8-10 hours with medium-loud projection). If you like sweet in the summer scents (me), try this out.

Guy below me is spitting facts. I tried miami and it's probably one of my favorite summer scents right now, easily top 3. I bought from the brands website too because not only do I love the story, I also love the concept of buying city scents. City rhythm's miami smells like miami lol
