The salty and sweet opening is an orange thats deep not photorealistic nor is it anywhere near synthetic. The scent carries a vibe where I picture walking through Laguna Beach or the Gaslamp District in DTSD. The floral notes and spices are subtle but linger at the tip of your tongue not clearly identifiable (my nose may need training), you feel like you’re near the beach but not on the beach if that makes sense. This scent is warm and easy to enjoy. It’s a bit linear but in a wonderful way, it’s definitely a consistent vibe that sticks with you as you go about your day. A beautiful scent with incredible performance that creates an intimate scent bubble for 12+ hours. It’s playful not cloying and carries many subtleties that my younger self would not of appreciated. This has been my favorite pickup easily in the last 10 years.

If you are looking for a more underground fragrance to blind buy; this is the one. Heavy blood orange and lavender notes up front (emphasis on blood orange). It is a safe yet alluring buy for anyone who enjoys a very sweet and subtle citrus aroma. You get very floral and nutty middle notes with sweet and aquatic base notes that make for a very unique and enjoyable scent profile. Highly recommended for hot summer days (85 to 95 degrees) as that’s when it will perform the best, but you can really wear it in any warm environment. From my experience: Longevity: 4-9 hours Silage: Three feet for the first two hours, a foot around until around hour five or six, then becomes a skin scent through the rest of it’s longevity. 9.5/10

City Rhythm San Diego is a smooth bright fragrance that captures the essence of summer. It comes off as a slightly aquatic and aromatic scent with some sea salt and vanilla in the background that gives it a boost. The main notes I get are blood orange, sea salt, sea notes, juniper berries, vanilla and a hint of almond. I get around 6 to 9 hours with this with around 6 to 10 sprays on skin. The projection is decent for the first 4 hours but then it slowly weakens over time. I would say this leans slightly more masculine but can easily be worn by both men and women. Overall I think is a great fragrance to get and is worth it if you can find it on a discount

Finally sampled it for the first time today. No doubt about it, it’s instantly added to the “full bottle buy list” along with Miami and Manhattan. I love this one and it’s actually one of only a select few my wife has said she really likes. That’s saying a lot! This changes as it dries and I am absolutely blown away. It opens so, so juicy. Not cloying or sickly sweet but juicy sweet, like a 100% real fruit ice block. The smooth sophisticated iris makes an appearance as it starts to dry. And the creamy almond steps up the further it dries down. It is blended so well and I’ve spent all evening sniffing at my arm. A must have for me.

Wow, this is fantastic. To me it's a perfect blend of fresh, aquatic, tropical, and sweet. Almost has that fresh cotton candy vibe similar to Valentino Born in Roma or JPG Le Beau Flower Edition, but this feels way more refined, and I'm positive the performance will be much improved over the aforementioned designer fragrances. I'm a big fan and will rock this heavily in the spring and summer!

to me, when i wear my decant of miami tropical confessions, and i ask if i smell good, people say that smells better than san diego, but to me, the blood orange notes makes it a lot smoother than mtc or 2654, but they are both amazing fragrences. To me, diego is the one, but to stand out, I would say Miami tropical Confessions, 2654, or Miami.

San Diego is one of my ABSOLUTE HAPPY FRAGRANCES!!!!! So unique yet so emotionally invigorating. That blood orange, Violet, Ambergris, Nutmeg, vanilla Heliotrope all just make my nose sing. It is fun to wear. It is up there with pulse as my favorite from the house. It's one I will wear days straight as sotd and sotn. PERIODT 🤣

I really really like this one. Something about it is just so nice, especially in the super hot humid Florida weather. One of my favorites for summertime and it layers well with a bunch of other scents. Smells fresh, tropical, and it lasts a long time being that it's an extrait. It is very oily because of the concentration.

Instant love for me. As stated below, the longevity is remarkable (it's a 50% extrait) and the sillage is perfect. Might like this one even more than City Rhythm's Miami, which speaks volumes. Original and refreshing. Pacific sunset manages to capture the essence of a warm ocean breeze without the use of over played blue green and seaweed notes found in so many other summer scents. Pure genius. Instant summer staple!

San Diego, another beautiful creation by City Rhythm. Definitely makes me think of San Diego when I wear it. Beautiful smell and it’s a beast of a fragrance.

Indie houses are ok to purchase from (sarcasm to those who judge indie houses).. and this one goes to show why. It's a home run.

Best CR after trying them all. A fresh aquatic tropic scent. If i buy a Bottle of CR it would be this or Manhattan Midnight.

Smells like candy, Yeah it does kinda smell like Valentino Bir intense, just barely though, comparing these two side by side, Bir Intense is pretty fizzy, more spicy woody lavender dark vanilla based, floral while still being mature, This smells like a bunch of weird orange products, like shampoo, medicine, candy, gum, I like the saltiness in here, but I don’t get really any aquatics, as synthetic as it is, this is probably the sweetest fragrance to not give me a headache, 👍, sad because I thought this was going to be a summer version of Valentino Bir Intense, but it’s just a sweeter, more synthetic and citrusy, I don’t think I’ve ever been to San Diego. I like the start of this fragrance better than the end, the start is, just the most fantastic bloody orange, lemon fizz, cypress With some wood, and then the sweetness starts coming in, the base notes are still really good though, pretty spicy, just as spicy as Bir Intense, Just realized this smells more like Eros Energy than Bir Intense. Really wonderful fragrance, easily wipes all of G&B summer fragrances, definitely trying out more of City rhythm. Bottle worthy? If I can find a bottle around $150 then hell yeah, this is art, this just raised my standards for fragrances, why are we giving our money to Chanel, Dior, Jean Paul gaultier, Prada when City rhythm is right there, wonderful fragrance, 8.3/10 Ngl the first thing I thought of when I smelled this fragrance was “Mall Fragrance” Final take: Smells like Bir Intense mixed with Eros energy, And then some other orange stuff

A sweet 'n' salty aromatic affair with a soft underlying vanillic iris. Fresh lavender and purple florals given a generous dollop of fruity blood orange and piney juniper berry, a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, plus a dash of spices. Aside the iris-vanilla in the base are light marine vibes from a waterlogged driftwood. The blood orange is more prominent in the opening, eventually giving way to the juniper berry as it dries down. Moderately strong initial projection quickly dies down to an intimate scent bubble for 2-3hr, longevity 8-10hr. The combination of aromatics, (blood) orange, iris and vanilla are very reminiscent of MFK Amyris Homme and especially Perris MC Arancia di Sicilia. The main difference is instead of sweet cinnamon, which is present in both of those, San Diego goes in its own beachy direction with the addition of marine notes.

This fragrancet brings back magical memories of my stay at the ITH Beach Bungalow Surf Hostel by the Pacific Ocean in San Diego, and the coastal train travel from San Diego to LA at sunset. The scent starts off citrus-tropical and turns into a lovely vanilla creaminess with a light salty note. I love the orange note in particular, but the drydown is also nice. It is not overly sweet, which I prefer. The juice is oily as hell and potent. The bottle and packaging are also nice - altogether, it screams quality.

my most worn scent throughout the summer for good reason this stuff smells great. one whiff and i feel like im on the beach watching the sunset over the ocean. the blood orange note in particular is a standout, makes it a citrusy scent but overall still very unique compared to other citruses ive tried. 4 sprays last me all day too. goated fragrance
