heard Luca Turin list this as one of his favorite fragrances on “It’s Just Perfume” with Steve Gontarski — went to the mall to smell it and i haven’t been able to get rid of it for at least 3 hours. I smelled a LOT of fragrances today and istg 4 or 5 of the ones I smelled at Ulta smelled almost exactly like this one. It’s not for me, but I know that, for 15 dollars and a genuinely big bottle it’ll surprise a lot of fragrance lovers who want a sweet, ethyl maltol and ambroxan stupidly long lasting fragrance.

Cherry Bliss is the cherry ambrox combo that will never die, and for a good reason. It clings onto you like your little cousin at a family reunion. Simple, linear, sugary and bright. A fun thing to wear.

Luca Turin mentioning this on Luckyscent's podcast cracked me up. It also felt very validating to hear a famous fragrance critic applaud an affordable and accessible body mist immediately after talking about the disappointments of niche perfumery. Truthfully, this is really similar to a lot of other cherry fragrances I've tried at BBW and Zara over the years, but it's still fun!

Luca Turin brought me here as well. This scent apparently is the love child of Flower Bomb and Baccarat Rouge 540! And is so inexpensive. Fascinating.
