I'm glad to see this scent has accumulated some good reviews, because it's one of my favorites from the Clandestine line and doesn't get enough love as far as I'm concerned. This is an amazing, sexy clear-water peppered bergamot with the house's usual mix of interesting twists and turns through fresh florals (I think CL calls them "anonymous"; I think of them as "clean" "fresh" or "pure" a lot in spite of myself) and woody notes. I think something I struggle with is talking about perfumes that smell straight-up GOOD. Good sounds boring, but this isn't. And it smells SO good on me, it's a pleasing, delicious scent, it's signature-worthy and that is not really how I roll. After letting myself sit with that idea I've decided that a truly good-smelling perfume that performs like this one does and never gets boring is actually a lot rarer and more worthy of appreciation than I might have given it credit for. I'd bring it with me to a desert island.

can't wait until this one comes back in stock... definitely one of the tamer ones in the samples i tried from the line but I smelled it on my clothes later and I was struck by how good it smelled and how I wanted to keep smelling it. like yeah. it's an amber with an underlying sweetness and just a tad green. oddly the orange blossom comes through much later in the wear. just deliciousssss

This is reminiscent of spices in a Sichuan stir fry, though not listed I smell Sichuan peppercorn, and cumin fairly strongly. I would guess it’s the combination of the cypriol, resins and clove. This is not a negative thing at all for me, I think this is still very wearable despite that association. One of many perfumes from Clandestine that I’d like to get a bottle of one day.

One of the best from Clandestine. This is a blind reach anytime anywhere fragrance. Super versatile while still being very unique.

Rich and resinous, slightly sweet, delicious clove-rich scent. Masculine and modern.

I will be an outlier here. I wasn't a fan. Clove and peppercorn is all I get. Probably shouldn't, but that is what I get. It also vanishes on my skin within a few hours. That might have been a good thing for me. I have a few more from my sample "stash". Hoping to find a winner. The personal touch that Mark puts into the pages and newsletters make for a cool experience. Really want to find one that matches me.
