Eau Dynamisante

Having heard soooo MUCH about this fragrance from not only members here, but also having heard it referred to as a point of reference in reviews by everyone from Marlen (our own 'perfumecritic') to Chandler Burr and then that other guy (what's his name, again? Luca something??), I just HAD to smell this and see (for myself, once and for all) what all the hubbub was about! Treatment Fragrance? What on Earth...?!? *sniffs wrist* Ooooh, now I see! Somewhere between perfume, aromatherapy and Nature itself lies CLARINS Eau Dynamisante. The back of the box for my 15 ml EDT says these are among the included ingredients: aloe leaf juice, eleuthero ginseng extract, ginger root extract, panax ginseng extract and also these very mysterious sounding extracts...devil's claw, horsetail and desert indian wheat! ALL of these herbs, plants and extracts are quite stimulating and very beneficial (devil's claw, for example, is as powerful for the treatment of arthritis pain and inflammation in scientific studies as manmade Vioxx is) and it is no wonder cinsot is strapping on armor and charging into battle! There are some synthetic molecules here, as well, but also the (always mysterious and never really quite defined)"parfum/fragrance". Therein, lies the magic! Inside a gorgeous zesty lemon essence and a bright sweet juicy orange lie warm caraway and cool corriander, creating a perfectly balanced water/fire energy from pungent and aromatic seeds, while remaining bright and fresh. The heart becomes a bit more "bold" with rosemary, smooth and spicy cardamom and a very dry carnation...these three notes become something amazingly soapy on me, and give me that just washed "clean as a baby" feeling without making me feel childish or weak. This is somewhere between amazing and out of this world for me! The drydown, when it finally gets around to it, becomes somewhat more dark and raw and very peculiar indeed. From brightly fresh and well-balanced, to clean and green, becoming earthy and raw; ED truly does runs the gamut. I do not know exactly what this is supposed to "treat", but I imagine no matter how bad you felt, physically OR emotionally Eau Dynamisante would definitely "pick you up"! It sure has lifted my spirits, and I was pretty darn happy to start with... Sillage: quite good Longevity: excellent Overall: 4.25/5 My first thought on sniffing this was OH GREAT! Yet another citrus aromatic *yawns*...then an aromatic green "soapy" scent *sighs with happiness* then it's just something really natural smelling and "feeling". Dynamic Water? YES, without a doubt! This "perfume" (that word's almost an insult to its therapuetic properties) is truly "magical"; not that it makes me think of Disney characters or witches around some bubbling cauldron...BUT because it takes natural and synthetic components and weaves them into something that does cause real change in a postive way. Haven't tried this scent yet? Feel depressed or just "off"? Go ahead, have a sniff of this, even wear it for a couple hours...I just know after that (whether you actually "like" the scent or not) you will feel better. And, if you do not feel "better" you will definitely feel different...change is good, and change this does! *A special thanks to the Fragrantica member who gifted this wonderful elixir to me, along with a CLARINS facial masque...you know me SO well!* ;)

Fresh, carefree, inoffensive and effortless. I would, if I could, just leave it at that for this fragrance stalwart, but I wont, I think this is a really overlooked scent, in fact I think all of the Clarins fragrance range is really overlooked and I think its a shame, these are really lovely fragrances, though, I do still feel a twinge of annoyance at the discontinuation of Clarins Sunshine fragrance (WHY???!!), but I digress Eau Dynamisante is not an EdP or an EdT, its more of a traditional cologne spray, I really like Clarins' aproach to combining aromatherapy benefits with personal fragrance, I don't think its something any other company has done which is a real USP in my book. I still have my same, limited edition bottle from 2018 and in all honesty I haven't really reached for it much but lately I've had a real craving for fresh, true cologne-y fragrances and this one always without fail hits the mark perfectly. The opening is a bright, herbacious mix of thyme, coriander and lemon which quickly dries down into an orangy/lemon musk with petitgrain hanging around in the background. Its a simple non complex composition but it works very well and does indeed give you a boost and a pick up, my 100ml bottle also came with a 10ml refillable travel atomiser which I used to take with me on long train journeys because I found that not only is it refreshing if you've been stuck in a hot stuffy environment for such a long period of time, but, I also found it really good for my travel sickness, not sure why it helped it just did. I also agree with a reviewer that mentioned "shower in a bottle" and it is, its awakening and refreshing. Longevity is so so, I treat it like a body mist and generously spray on my body and my clothes in order for it to last, I suppose layering it with the accompanying shower and body products would help it last for longer though as well, it also has a very soft, wafty silage and despite how ubiquitous it is with die hard fans of Clarins counters I still will get asked by people what it is. Perfect for summer wear and if I'm honest, it would work perfectly year round as well, this range is worth looking at if you want a gateway into fragrance but dont like fragrance because they're so light and airy, I kind of wish I knew about these when I started my fragrance journey in all honesty. Another thing, a 100ml bottle of this is so affordable, buy it and spritz it away to your hearts content!

Dear Readers, ♥ I and my beloved family have been faithful clients of the house of Clarins products for years and in my humble heart - I will leave a review of Dyanamisante. I used to wear Clarins Ressourcant, but it has been discontinued sadly, but in my recent purchasing of Clarins, I was given this garnet 30 ML bottle of Dyanamisante as complimentary and seeing the ingredients here in Fragantica, I was joyed to try it . Dynamisante by itself : Wow, the aroma of the botanical mix in this perfume is quite an eye opener and sense stimulator that wakes you up ! (laughs). A very zesty and herbal sporty spirit combo but done with botanical sophistication in this bottle. I must disagree with some reviewers stating that it smelled somehow like an Italian restaurants, a BBQ party or old cottage witch herbs from 200BC, I feel offended since I've been to all 3 and none smells like a Clarins counter ! (laughs). By itself for those readers who are curious and first timers of Clarins fragrance lines theyre fragrances arent like other perfumes that are constructed to have a human character or intention to it or mood. Clarins fragrances are scents of nature in all is glorious majesty and holistic beauty, and Dynamisante and its siblings have that air when you inhale them into your world. Dynamisante on me : I loved it for my work out's ! this garnet jewel smelled fantastic on me when working out and feels nice during hot weather days. My only complaint is that it does not stay on me but for only 2 hours max, not the fragrance fault but my chemistry. Silage stood within decent space,nobody wasn't gagging or offended or calling the cops when I had on this fragrance on me. I must say its sure is a mood enhancer, made me feel very peppy , feeling fresh and smelling classy liked I came out of a Clarins Spa in some exclusive country club gym somewhere , loved it ! My conclusion for Dynamisante, if your into smelling classy, beautifully assertive and that have a zest for life and keeps it all organic, than look no further than Clarins and this fragrance as a gift Very good investment and lovely gift for someone that fits the "zest for life" in high class style, then this fragrance is for you . I thank the cosmos for creating our earth,the plants and Mr Clarins and his staff for creating such marvelous work , Viva Clarins !.

My favorite scent and signature. I love how there are so many notes in it, but it's so well blended with nothing sharp or out of place. It's top notes are pure magic- an incredibly beautiful citrus floral blast. A perfect cologne-type scent that is incredibly refreshing. What this scent evokes to me most of all is a walk through an apothecaries' garden. It's great and cooling in hot weather, but I really love it in the cold. In fact, the colder the better. The cold brings out the bright lemon/orange note. On clothing, these bright citrus top notes last much longer than on skin. The dry down took a bit of time for me to fully appreciate—its herbal and woodsy, with the rosemary most pronounced to my nose. At first I thought it was far too herbal, earthy and bitter. But after a few wears, it's calming, mellow smoothness comes through. Longevity is moderate (to be fair, I'm a bit of an over sprayer, so I think I'm just anosmic- my best friend says it's very strong), as is its' sillage. If I spray this on in my bedroom, I can still smell it lingering if I come back in awhile later. Eau Dynamisante is formulated with a number of exotic sounding plant extracts (including eleuthero root extract, ginseng, ginger root extract, aloe vera, alantago ovata seed extract, and horsetail extract). Honestly, I have no idea what these do, but the perfume does indeed feel great and invigorating on the skin. Clarins also says it's safe for use in the sun. I have a travel spray and top up during the day whenever I want a bit of a boost. The best part is the price. This comes in a 500ml splash bottle (which is less than twice the price of the 100ml size) that can refill the smaller 100ml and 10ml travel spray bottles. And I know Clarins gets a lot of hate for their clunky bottles. But I love the deep red color of Eau Dynamisante and its round shape is great in the hand and beautifully evokes traditional medicine bottles from the past.

I used to wear this in my 20's....it literally made me feel like laughing whenever I sprayed it on!! It just has such an uplifting vibe - I LOVE it!! Over the years I had forgotten all about this little gem, but now I will have to hunt some down. I am a person who absolutely LOVES a natural, earthy scent, so the "herbal" nature of this does not turn me off at all, but rather the opposite. I agree with odiliamaria: fresh and sensual are great adjectives to describe Eau Dynamisante. I also agree it is more of a personal scent in that only the wearer (and perhaps someone really, really close to her) can truly notice it. Years ago, I used to work for Aveda which is a haircare/skincare/makeup company that uses only natural, organic plant essences for the ingredients and fragrances in their products. While I no longer work for them, I can tell you that I learned from that experience how legitimate the art and science of aromatherapy is and that NATURAL plant fragrances really have a huge effect on our moods and physical bodies!! There has been a lot of research on this, plus I can tell you from personal experience. To this day, I still use Aveda because I can't stand how other synthetically-fragranced hair and skincare products smell (Lookin' at you, TIGI). I used to love Clarins for the same reason. In my experience, there seem to be two types of "fragrance people": those that like Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works scents.....and those who don't. If you would place yourself in the "don't" category, then you might just like a fresh, natural scent such as Eau Dynamisante and you might even find it gives you unexplained feelings of giddyness when you inhale it!

I have been wearing a lot of chypre perfumes these cold winter nights, and it occurred to me that my very first chypre was Clarins EAU DYNAMISANTE, although it does not fit the standard profile of either chypre floral or chypre fruity perfumes familiar to me. Instead, ED is opens as a very bracing aromatic fragrance, with lemon and caraway standing out immediately. EAU DYNAMISANTE is marketed as a "body treatment fragrance," but it is really as much of a jolt to one's mind as to one's body, serving to invigorate and uplift the wearer. I used to spray this all over my body after every single bath. If the intense opening lasted longer than it takes to get dressed, ED would probably be too much to wear as a perfume. Happily, the fragrance settles down, leaving only a faintly floral-caraway-clean patchouli behind, one which will complement any other chypre, it seems to me. In fact, I think I'll test that hypothesis shortly... I have consumed about ten gallons of EAU DYNAMISANTE, probably more than all of the others combined, and I still love it! When Dior's EAU SVELTE was discontinued, I started to worry that the fate of EAU DYNAMISANTE would be the same, so I began stockpiling this treasure, of which a couple of bottles still remain. Needless to say, I highly recommend this fragrance. It is bright and sharp, but Clarins uses all natural ingredients and essential oils, so there is no cause for fear that the sharpness might be due to sci-fi secret agents... Spray on!!!

What I will say resemble what a lot of you said in your mind: I'm still avoiding re-repurchasing it, and feel hesitant when think of using it and insert it in my routine again, the reason is when I was a teen, Clarins was THE biggest hit in "beauty" and "well-being". Their ads filled all the magazines with a beautiful dream-like, unrealistic healthy, gorgeous, happy people who seems to have the best "life-style" ever....I was purchasing all that and all bath line of this perfume was a treasure, and a perfume that has an "anti-aging+firming" properties was a pioneer by all means... honestly, the smell is out of this world, relaxing and classy and chic..plus I was a careless kid and life felt caramelized. Now whenever I smell Eau Dynamisante, all that comes back, but something inside me resist it!!! HELP Edit: Finally I re-purchased it, today I got 2 bottles of the 100ml ! They are spray but can be un-screwed and used as a SPLASH...this made me purchase 2, I love to pour the liquid in my palms. more edits later. Edit: It used to last longer, and I find it lighter! Maybe I will need more time to get used to the smell again in order to smell it as I used to!? I don't know. I found a 15ml sample splash empty bottle from years ago, tucked in the back of my drower... I'm gonna re-fill it again and take it with me everywhere.

This gem has stood the test of time as a reliable companion especially in warmer weather or just about anytime. The blend of lemon, orange, cilantro, caraway, thyme, rosemary, ginger and a quiet but present note of patchouli has no typical 'bitter' masculine notes at all, so you can dismiss the unisex profile, as far as I ́m concerned. It ́s impossible to get through summer without it! Clarins is also a french quality brand, so to splurge out on a matching Eau Dynamisante bodylotion will enhance and prolong the scent and give your skin a real treat. This composition actually has the ability to exhilarate and lift the spirits and is surely unsurpassed as a wonderfully refreshing, invigorating and vitalizing bodyscent. Not only does it 'bring on the sunshine' - you will have a garden with fine spices and herbs, scented wood and a selected greenery to follow. The warmer notes of thyme, rosemary and ginger add a lot of surprising depth so don ́t dismiss this as a pure citrus cologne. It ́s far more complex than that. This could actually be that desert island must-have. Sensual, romantically feminine, sexy or seductive? - No. Uniquely exhilarating, distinctive, deeply aromatic, vibrant citrusy and multifaceted - Yes!

Eau Dynamisante, I want you in my Collection! I got to try this awesome fragrance when I was a little girl, my Mom wore it and I can still remember how it smells. It is perfect for warm weather and it has a cool heart... It smells like lemons and oranges with a slightly cologne for men feel to it, but it's still wearable for a woman. It is mainly citrus, but it has an airy and watery feel to it, that is very Zen-like. I remember a flowery note, but I'm not sure if it was the rosemary or the carnation. I got no stinky patch from it, for those of you who don't like it, I do, but I didn't get a whiff of it in Eau Dynamisante. I want to buy a full bottle of this, it is amazingly zesty, with a cool breath of citruses and coriander. When it touches your skin it doesn't feel cold as alcohol feels, instead it feels like fresh water and you want to slather more and more, 'cause it feels like you are taking a refreshing bath... If I remember correctly it doesn't have a spray nozzle, so you slather this, and it is incredibly gentle on delicate skin, even with citrics included... I love this! I don't care if it doesn't last long, it is more of a skin scent for your own enjoyment...

Eau Dynamisante is one of the finest examples of lemony fresh Eaux, that dries down to a gorgeous chypre finish. I’ve gone through bottles of it for years, the shower gel and mousse, the body lotion and the dry oil. It’s invigorstingly fresh, sharp and simply feel good. I haven’t sensed its aromatherapy benefits (my favorite aromatherapy line will always be Lancôme’s magnificent AromaCalm and AromaFit, and Helena Rubinstein’s Art of Spa), but on a hot day, this is like an endless glass of cool water with a lemon wedge. Sadly, and it’s always been the case, it has a very poor lasting power even when layered copiously with the rest of the products. A 200ml bottle can last me a month with daily use. I sometimes splurge on the shower gel, but even though I love its rosemary and geranium piquancy with its spicy carnation and coriander facet, I can’t justify a bottle each month. Nonetheless for anyone who enjoys fresh scents with a classic elegance, Ô de Lancôme, Eau de Rochas, Diorella, Alvarez Gomez, 4711, Cristalle...this is a more herbal/more dry/more chypre no brainer. 5/5 either way!

Timeless, effortless, and secretly the ultimate layering fragrance Eau Dynamisante is one of those scents that feels universally wearable. I genuinely can’t imagine anyone it wouldn’t suit. The opening is beautifully aromatic and quite forward for the first 20–30 minutes — fresh, uplifting, and energising without being sharp. After that, it softens dramatically and becomes very subtle on the skin. It almost feels like it disappears, even if you’ve sprayed generously. But that’s part of its charm — it wears like an aura rather than a statement. What I love most is the duality: it’s invigorating yet calming at the same time. Fresh but grounding. Clean but never soapy. Projection and longevity aren’t its strong suits if you’re wearing it alone (you can spray a lot and it still stays close), but where it truly shines is in layering. It’s one of the best fragrance enhancers I’ve tried. With Libre Le Parfum, for example, it adds a beautiful nuance to the opening and somehow softens the intensity, making everything feel more seamless and refined.

This is my favorite perfume. I really absolutely adore it, I found out about it when I worked at Nordstrom and wanted to buy a perfume. I was looking for something I could just wear to relax me but also something unisex, and I smelled the whole store, and found things that interest me, but this was a true gem. The girl was also young who sold it to me. She said it was amazing for layering and I also agree. The scent is intoxicating. I definitely think an elf or a Forrest nymph would wear this as I find it very ethereal in the spices used. Its not a fragrance for everyone but I think it's well rounded, no harsh notes whatsoever, and it warms nicely on your skin. I'd wear this any day, for any occasion. Its sophisticated, intelligent. Makes me want to stick my nose into an old fantasy book when I wear it, and cover up in a linen blanket. I kinda want this in tea, it just makes sense to me. It's that relaxing

I will not examine the veracity of the claim that Eau Dyanmisante is a "treatment fragrance" that provides "firmness," but I will say it does embody vitality and freshness. It's opening flourish delights my nose with a lemon and rosemary, soon giving way to a stimulating accord reminding me of herbes de provence. It's rendered mildly spicy, cool, and earthy in its dry down. It's a pick-me-up, a spa treatment in bottled form, but not merely a means to an end that descends with a murmur. Granted, one may want to apply more than once throughout the day, but there are a number of other fragrances, niche, designer, you name it, that are less substantive than Eau Dynamisante. Attractive sillage and an aromatherapy quality: who could ask for more? Fans of Sisley Eau de Campagne and Goutal Eau de Sud would surely approve. Even the clinical red glass bottle has charm.

My search for a “just out of the spa” scent is over! This is a unique gem! I blind bought it again based on reviews on fragrantica after trying a clarins body cream (lait corps hydratant vitalite) in a hotel spa and the scent is same! Thanks god i bought a 100ml bottle bundle with body cream at airport duty free for 50eu. The opening is very powerful spicy citrus and herbal to wake up all your senses, turns into a clean calming creamy woodiness. I dont detect any usual green fresh notes but interestingly the scent itself makes you feel very freshened up. I like to use it on my neck and wrists and i can still smell it hours later however very silently and elegantly. On clothing and linen it lingers days and days I love love love it, i cant stop smelling myself. It makes me feel sexy and sophisticated.

Ok, I've been wearing this one for a while and I must say that it's true that it is a superb aromatherapy scent but its sillage and longevity are below average. I guess it would be unfair to compare Eau Dynamisante with classic perfumes because it is 100% natural, all the ingredients are named on the packaging, and those are extracts of plants. It is strange that there is no mysterious "perfume" ingredient on the list, which means that this is not a Perfume but a well-being product with wonderful smell. The actual fragrance is very good, it's awakening and addictive. Fortunately, I have no "old man" associations because I grew up in a country where men used to shun such sophisticated fragrances and they were not even marketed for men.

This stuff is so good. If it was packaged differently it would be a huge favourite, I reckon. The presentation is healthy/sporty/no-nonsense - all the kinds of ideas I instinctively avoid in a fragrance. The juice, though, is a very beautiful and sophisticated chypre. It reminds me a little of Azuree, but with less in-your-face strength. Azuree does tend to shout, while Eau Dynammisante talks in an low, charming voice. Personally I don't see it as masculine at all, but then I don't necessarily associate sweetness or florals with femininity. These fragrances make me think of summer and the mediterranean. Citrus fruit, herbs, sunshine, a fresh breeze. What could be lovelier?

Beautiful! Opens citrusy,lemons... dry down's my favourite, nice patchouli and herbs.Its soothing, refreshing, uplifting. Husband and I were browsing at a department store and I was like "hey look lets see what Freddie Mercury smelled like" It was instant love. I first sprayed on paper and had to go back and spray on my skin, we both ended up loving it. Surprisingly, the drydown lasts a good 4-5 hrs on me, quite impressive. It does wear close to the skin, not much projection and thats okay, cause its one of those that's meant to please and comfort the person wearing it. Way far from being a statement type of scent. It is what it is and it rocks at it ;)

I must have worn this for thirty years and am clearly addicted to it! It smells like the Mediterranean Maquis without any harsh, medicinal notes. It is warm orange, thyme flowers with the sun on them and patchouli (in the softest, least old hippy burning incense sticks kind of way). However, nobody has EVER commented on how nice I smell which means it is an entirely personal love affair. Well . . It's 2021 now and I just got my umpteenth bottle and I can say (as an Eau Dynamisante connoisseur) that yes, it has changed. Water and a slight wisp of swimming pool have sneaked into my scarlet bottle. Perhaps the time has finally arrived to move on.

This is the only bottle I never stop wearing since I was eighteen! I probably bought at least ten bottles! I have bought and worn and loved many other perfumes, Goutal and Lutens and all, but this is my true love. This is what I wear when everything else seems wrong. I don't even think of this as a fragrance, although it smells sooo good. It just smells perfect and when I wear it I feel it's my own odor. I have a very fine nose but in this case I can't even smell the different components, it's very well blended, totally unisex, a perfect balance of herbs and citrus and spices, I don't even know what it smells, it just smells like my life!

Passed down treasure review #5:Eau Dynamisante My god this smells like you're gonna roast lamb.Very Mediterranean cuisine spice.It kinda reminds me of the Mark & Spencer Cologne that comes in a white ,square plastic bottle and a textured silver cap and a bit of Paco Rabbane Paco Rabbane. It's so green it smells like going through a forest filled with grown fir trees after the rain.You are walking through that forest with your head facing above the sky,looking at the sun. As much as I love it,I just need to find myself the courage to wear men's perfume.I'm a guy but I'm just not used to wearing men's fragrances.But this is just amazing.

Eau dynamisante is not a perfume/eau de toilette as far as I know but is like a spa in a bottle. If you're spraying this on your clothes, you're wasting it. After your shower, you're meant to spray it on your skin and massage it in!! That's why it's called "eau de soin" the herbs contained in it are meant to be good for your skin. I use it in summer and the smell lasts all day! When your body warms up, the fragrance lifts up and you get a whiff of it as you move. When used well, this is truly wonderful, classy and a definite classic for my summers. I keep coming back to it. The best of the Clarins eaux de soins in my opinion.

You're in the forest for a spring picnic, standing on the ground among the trees. The scent of dry, earthy greenery from the trees mixes with the smell of orange and floral shampoo in your freshly washed hair. This is a very natural, very clean deodorant fragrance. More of a fresh supplement than a heavy perfume, it's something you can carry with you to always smell clean. It has a subtle aftershave tone but it's light enough that even those who want a more feminine scent can use it. Spray your perfume but make sure to keep this handy in your bag too. Fun fact: One of Freddie Mercury's signature scents.

A true classic that never gets old. This scent is invigorating, fresh, and effortlessly uplifting, living up to its name. It’s like a splash of energy in fragrance form: brisk, citrusy, and aromatic, the kind of scent that instantly wakes up your senses and keeps you refreshed. Being a skincare fragrance, it feels more natural and gentle, but the downside is its fleeting presence. It’s something you want to keep reapplying throughout the day, and honestly, I wish it lasted longer. Still, for those moments when you need a quick boost, this is a timeless go-to.

this is the fragrance my mother wore throughout my childhood. I adore it. It's a unique, dark and sexy fragrance that is sharp and aromatic at first spray, but dries down to a deeper, woody scent. I like this scent because of its ambiguity. When you smell it, you can't quite pick out individual notes, which is something I tend to look for in a fragrance. Instead, this perfume gives off a definite mature femme fatale vibe that I absolutely love. When I picture this scent, I picture red wine, a dress that shows cleavage, and perfectly curled hair. Love it!

Often copied but the proper Clarins version is perfectly blended. Perfect for summer days and evenings. The citrus and woody notes are also natural insect repellants and this is one of the few perfumes it is safe to wear in direct sunlight on your skin without risk of it reacting on your skin and causing permanent pigmentation marks. Fresh and zesty but not in a sickly, teen perfume way with a subtle sexy smoulderingness appearing underneath. The other Clarins perfumes are also very pleasant and similarly less harsh on the skin but this is my favourite.

I love this perfume. As somebody else said, it is one I keep going back to over and over again. I love its fresh, clean, sharp, sweet, and sensual scent. It's what I spray when I need refreshing and revitalising after a hard night drinking lol, or when I am not in the mood for deep, dark and mysterious. A very clear uplifting scent. I have had the same bottle for the past 10 years displayed on my dresser but away from direct light, it has lasted extremely well in its classic yet simple dark red glass bottle.

The citrusy, aromatic and almost balsamic freshness, épices and boisée of Eau Dynamisante by Clarins brings back to the relaxing atmospheres of the spas of northern Europe. It reminds me of the Nordic atmospheres of Finnish saunas, flavored and relaxing. The humidity and heat that bring out this regenerating and lashing fragrance. Of course it has the flavor of dynamism and body care. I experience it as a body care product, a "comfort zone" rather than as an instrument of seduction and sensuality.

Lovely smooth herbal mix.Citrus seems to turn soapy on me easily but in this I don't mind because it is so velvetty smooth anyhow. It has a slight spicyness that recalls ginger, geranium, and maybe coriander seeds but not in an overwhelming or gourmand way, rather the hug of a warm wind from the south. Very unisex, veering slightly masculine because of the citrus soap probably.One to wear for those of us who are easily disturbed by aromachemicals, therefore also crowd safe.

chic! just a nice, aromatic spritz for when you don’t want to commit to a fuller fragrance, but still want a little something to pull yourself together. it’s definitely in the same league as O de Lancôme, which I also have and adore, but to me the Clarins is a little more herbaceous and slightly - slightly! - soapy. I also think the Lancôme sticks around a little longer, at least on me, but they’re both very light and casual EDTs. great for summer

Does anyone know if this fragrance has been updated? The Clarins website lists that there is a note of white tea and includes aloe vera, as in the 25th Anniversary 'Eau De Couer' edition, but it doesn't list the white tea note or aloe vera on this page? I don't think it smells too masculine, though very herbal. To me, it smells very much like walking into a Lush store, with all the essential oils and herbal smells. Lovely.

My mum used to wear this when I was a child. I remember her getting ready for an evening event and choosing between this and eau ressourcante (also by clarins). We used to live in Cyprus, so this really reminds me of that Mediterranean sort of smell. At first, it smells like an orange and lemon orchard in May/June then after 30 sec it's like you can smell thyme and rosemary growing at the base of the trees.

Not a typical chypre to me it's very aromatic. Had many bottles when I was in high school (and I just finished one). This scent is well blended, fresh and herbal without smelling "too natural". Do test on your skin though, mine amplifies this scent so I've always had to watch how much I use. Was probably a bit much for a teen but I didn't care I thought it was fabulous (and still do).

My signature fragrance AND Freddie Mercury's whom I actually share a birthday with. I have been looking at this since it first came out and now I wear this almost daily. Perfect for hot, humid weather. It makes me feel like I've just showered. I have a huge 1000ml (yes, you read that right... 1000ml!!!) on reserve in the fridge. The scent lasts forever, top quality.

Such an underrated gem. I bought a bottle of Eau Dynamisante this summer and it quickly become one of my favorites. Easy, classy and carefree sophistication. Aromatic, herbaceous and citric - aromatherapeutical. A very light and fresh chypre. Lasts better than most eau de colognes. And it's most definitely more interesting than latest releases.

I love it!! I got the little size on christmas when I was 6 from my father. Yeah my obsession for fragrances comes from my childhood. Anyways this is so different and I find it really unique for me it smells woody. It reminds me the smell of the new wooden furniture with some vintage aldehyde smell. Aldehyde is not included but I do smell it.

I love to choose this on busy mornings along with the deodorant from the same line. Quick and easy uplifting and ready to go! Eau Dynamisante is complex enough, elegant, chic and totally trustworthy. Office friendly but not flat nor boring. On me is sometimes goes a bit gingery, but not in a bad way. Masterpiece with a friendly price tag.

I am an oriental lover through and through, but I hope to never be without a bottle of this beauty. It doesn't last at all, but it's not meant to. It's very much an in-the-moment kinda scent; grounding and uplifting when you need a quick pick me up, and one of those fragrances you inhale, and it makes you feel glad to be alive. Superb!

As a kid back in the late 80s I flew Air-France to Paris on holiday and I the cabin crew had such a nice perfume on. It embodied French chic in my mind. Many years later I discovered this Clarins perfume and I am pretty sure this is what they were wearing on board. So for me this is full of memories and European fantasy. Love it

One of my favourite spa like scents, although it’s definitely been reformulated the original is a brighter somewhat pine green herbal citrus scent, it’s now a more mild softer rounded slightly sweeter citrus weaker skin scent far less masculine leaning, it’s still good but not as great as the original.

I need to buy a bottle of Eau Dynamisante as I keep 'borrowing' it off my sister! This is the perfect unisex scent as I love wearing it but would also love to smell this on a man. I'm a big fan of Lush and to me Eau Dynamisante belongs in the same vein as Lush scents like the Olive Branch and Karma.

My wife and I were in Paris on vacation a few years ago. We stayed at a boutique hotel, nothing fancy but nice. The house toiletries were Clarins, and this was the scent. I've never put on so much body lotion in my life. Both my wife and I love this scent. I had no idea this came in a spray bottle.

Yes, it's true: It's a bit weird to call this a perfume. But what a great fragrance to be around! It makes you feel happy. The words holiday, summer, care-free, energetic all apply to this fragrance. I'm on my 2nd bottle :-) Update (JUL-2023): I'm on my 3rd bottle!

This is a classy French lady! It smells absolutely clean, herbal yet sophisticated. I hated it when I was younger, but now, in my mid 30s, I'm fully in love with it. Perfect for everyday, you won't offend anyone smelling of Eau Dynamisante.

What a wonderful splash of energy this scent is... putting it from the morning keeps me energised and very joyful. I dont know if this is because of the wonderful fresh citrus coming through or herbal tint of the rosemary but I love it.

Refreshing and rejuvenating fragrance which awakes the senses immediately. The only downfall on this is that its satin finish body oil is discontinued.. Clarins HAS GOT to make a BODY OIL to match each of the treatment fragrances.

Fell for this hard as pure, bracing, refreshing, tonic-like, clean yet rich, aromatherapy. Used it to heighten my mood—and it worked. I could bathe in it! And I usually don’t like “clean” frags. This is complex yet Harmonious.

This is my perfume I wear to bed. Make up off, skin care on, teeth brushed, body moisturised, lashing of this splashed all over me, into my silk pyjamas and awwww you’ll sleep like a baby. 10/10 it’s a masterpiece

Just like Penny Urn'd I find Eau Dynamisante very relaxing in contrary to what its name suggests. Often I put this on after a bath in the evening and it lingers on untill the next morning. Has a Zen vibe to it.

Very interesting fragrance. it uplifting and calms my mind. It didn't last but one of my favorites. Lots of herbal and citrus, I love it! "eau de soins - treatment fragrance" 9/10
