Fragrance Review For Madame President By Clash Top notes: Bergamot, lemon freesia Middle notes: Iris, rose violet Base notes: Patchouli, musk cedar Hillary Clinton walks into the White House for her first press conference. She's wearing a pant suit of vanilla cream color. She is smelling of a perfume that she hasn't told anyone about. Some can make out a citrus some can smell flowers and others masculine scents of musk wood and patchouli. "Madame President, Madame President!" a young high pitched 22 year old reporter for People magazine's voice rises above the rest. "I'll take your question" Hilary replies. "Madame President what fragrance are you wearing?" the girl asks. Hillary smiles and says next question. What is she wearing?? Well she's wearing this perfume of course. This scent reminded me of a more recent purchase of mine which was a vintage 80's perfume called Arrogantissima by Schiaparelli. This is a violet perfume with woods and musk. Totally unisex, powerful and charismatic like the woman who wears it. This is no Bandit however and I wish it had been more like that. While there is musk and patchouli in spades there is still a sweet powdery iris and violet rose and freesia floral composition. I can smell the flowers after the citrus opening which is also like a man's cologne. This scent does fit the name Madame President. It's for a woman who takes charge, wears pant suits and has years of experience in professional enterprises and politics. This is a perfume for the next female President. But you don't have to be Hillary Clinton to smell like you mean business. This is for grown up women who love to announce their arrival anywhere they go with strong floral chypre perfumes. Beautiful.
