Eden Amber

Eden amber is perhaps one of my favourite fruity fragrances. It opens up with a big burst of juicy pineapple with the yuzu lingering in the background to cut through the sweetness. I can kind of sense the apple in the background, but it's very mild, so it's more a balancing act than anything else. After a while as we go into the dry-down the blackcurrant start to show up and the yuzu kind of fades into a more pronounced apple, still with a nice amount of very-sweet pineapple through and through. with a fragrance this fruit-forward it's easy to also overlook the role played by the amber and olibanum but they are there... Maybe not overtly, but they add a very welcome warmth to the scent which at least to me adds to the juiciness of everything that's going on on the top-layer. At this point, thee's also a very familiar sweetness introducing itself, similar to the sweet watermelon taste you get from candies like watermelon bubblegum, but it only really comes to support the pineapple and doesn't overtake anything. The pineapple and blackcurrant are very much front and center throughout the entire duration, hours on hours, and it's only like 7-10 hours in, that they start to step down, and I get a soft vetiver. Very fruity, perhaps a bit feminine leaning to some, but I would say it's entirely unisex as long as you're not opposed to smelling like a tropical smoothie. If you're not into fruity fragrances, then get a sample before buying. and if you hate sweet fragrances, then this might not be for you. Projection: excellent Longevity: excellent Price point: fairly priced, a bit pricy (145 euros) but definitely worth it.

I did 3 sprays on each wrist. SILLAGE boy phew. This stuff is no joke. Beast mode for me. Not in a bad way either. I think 2 sprays on wrist, then soft touch the other wrist is the way. Potent stuff! Update, on skin, lasts between 5-7 hours. I sprayed 3 spots on arm, almost 5 hours ago, and it's skin scent now, but I wore a hoodie (long sleeves) the projection was solid for 2 or 3 hours. Very nice stuff. Great summer scent, will definitely radiate with heat. Gives a soda pop kind of vibe, slight fizzle, not bubbly, and bright strong citrus amber. Very very lovely. Solid release 9 / 10 on scent. 6 / 10 for sillage 7 / 10 for longevity

#1680 in my “Tour de Fragrance” My first scent from this house. A nice generic freshie like Mont Blanc “Individuel Tonic” or Natura’s “Homem Aromaticos.” Like most freshies it’s on a spectrum from Azzaro Chrome to Chanel BDC. Very good quality for a freshie. This is safe and versatile for any use. But as I’ve said many times there is no need to drop this kind of money for a freshie. $160+ for something like this? No way. Rasasi “Style Ikon” goes for $22 and it’s a better scent. Good Luck and Good Hunting!
