Clean Warm Cashmere

I liked Warm Cashmere from the first moment. It's a very "grown up" scent, for autumn and winter. It's not heavy, but it's more intense than most of the Clean scents, and it takes a while before it settles. Office safe first after an hour or so on me, but I won't wear it at work anyway. This is a scent for lovely, cosy weekends from October to March and perfect for Christmas and New year. A powerful start, smoky/woody like, but that doesn't last long.Those first couple of minutes it's definitely on the masculin side. Then there ́s crispy citrus with the woody smell. Finally you have a nice musky/woody/fruity blend that stays 4-6 hours (on me). Very pleasant, warm, not too sweet, and still very grown up. It's perfect on me (woman 30+), but I can't imagine my husband wearing it. Cashmere hint? Yes, definitely! EDIT: This perfume has really grown on me. It's become one of my favourites and it's sad it's a limited edition! Why? // New update: Still a favourite, and I found a new bottle on eBay. Seems like i prefer many of the discontinued scents from CLEAN. Hmm, maybe I'm just an oldfashioned girl.

Starts off with a citrus note. Dries down as a warm,cosy, Woody,musky and slightly powdery scent. Very Nice and grown- up in a really comforting way. Love this one one a sweater on a autum or Winther day. Warm Cashmere is one of my all time favorites from clean. So much substans in this one. Reminds me of White woods from Clean. Just a little bit more of it all in this scent. Because of The small bottle size I immediately bought two.

Warm cashmere starts very citrusy. After half an hour it becomes warmer and woody (I get a lot of cedar after a few hours). On my skin it lasts for about 4 hours and sits really close to skin, performance on clothes is much better. Definitely on masculine side and it reminds me of a detergent a little bit. Will wear to work.

Identical to Bal D’Afrique. You would have to be a trained professional perfumer to detect any difference at all! I only applied it a short while ago, so I’m not sure of the longevity yet, but if it’s similar to Bal, (which wouldn’t take much, that one only lasts two hours on me) then I’ll stick with Warm Cashmere! :)

This scent is less in every way then it's original Bal D'afrique. So it is 50% cheaper but also 50% worse in performance, sillage, longevity. So will not buy this one again but will stick with the original. Cause quality costs money...

So Close to Bal D'arfrique, the vetyver is just so tingent and cosy. However, performance is lame. I eventually sold the bold because I did not bother to reapply...

Personally I just love it. I have a soft spot for deep, musky, woody scents, and this is lighter than what I usually wear but also definitely more unisex. Where I work - at a perfume section - people who are looking for an office friendly or unisex scent have loved this, also more men than I first thought. I think it doesn't lean on either masculine or feminine side, and it is one of those non-offending scents. A great gift idea for someone, who loves fall, cozy afternoons and woody scents. It is daytime appropriate and not too long-lasting either.

I compared this wrist-to-wrist with Bal d’Afrique and this is a lot sharper and less well-blended but for the price...
