Fresh Linens

Clean Fresh Linen is a very soft citrus, woods and musk fragrance. This is one of the few Clean fragrances that does not immediately take me to the laundry room. I enjoy most of the others in this line but I use them to refresh my clothing and bedsheets. This Clean Fresh Linen is gorgeous, clean and feels more like an easy scent that I can wear out on my clothing. This perfume hangs around in my house for days. I smell it every time I come home after being out all day. It is very refreshing. I still prefer these fragrances on fabric vs skin.

First I was like: how can anyone like this sharp mess? But now I like it a lot. It’s giving clean towels at a nice older relative’s house, meaning it’s comforting to me. Like visiting a calm and warm person who owns a tidy house. I only spray it on my clothes or layer it with a sweet floral/fruity bodylotion, it does not work otherwise.

I got this for myself this Christmas. I spray my wrists and sniff often throughout the day. For me, it's a comforting scent. A very nice blend of the base notes that lingers. I hope it will last longer on me when the weather changes and my skin isn't so dry anymore.

Fresh, clean and soft. You will want to hug yourself wearing this. I love it.

Of the clean perfumes I have tried, this one is my favorite!

Face down in freshly washed bleached line dried white towels

I bought a few fragrances for my wife's birthday as she always looks for something that just smells "like clean laundry" Well that's when demeter enters the picture with these scents. Laundromat, Linen and Clean's Fresh Linens. In my opinion these are not really fragrances because they are scents engineered to just smell like the clean clothes you are probably wearing this morning. Nobody is going to go nuts for this...but my wife sure loves wearing them. I know she's wearing them because well...it smells crazy clean and a tad floral. She wears Cuba Jungle Zebra that is also a nice clean frag. She mixes them now since I told her Demeter's concept is layering. Performance is great on clothes but not so great on skin. I paid 20$ for 120ml unlike the Clean brand that cost me 45 for 63ml. You definitely get what you pay for and my wife is happy too.

Lovely fresh citrus fruit opening and dries down to a nice warm musk. This scent is subtle enough to wear throughout the day but you may want to re spray yourself a few hours later as it wears off over time. Still this is a nice fragrance and after that citrus dies down it starts to die down with wood and musk lightly dancing in background. I like it but I’m not sure if I would repurchase, it was overpriced here in New Zealand. Would be also be nice to use around the house too.

Kind of masculine but anyone can pull it off. It starts off very sharp and synthetic. Later it develops into a woody, subdued citrus, clean laundry, fresh and soft white florals type of scent. Uplifting yet calming. However, there's something about it that puts me off even though every time I spray my wrist I keep sniffing it.

Light, fluffy, clean, musky and bit sweetness. Fresh, feminine and uplifting. Perfect scent for spring and summer. Nothing amazing or groundshaking... just plain good and comforting smell. I will get one for my collection. Silage and longevity is moderate on me.

It's a well rounded classic clean laundry scent but not as powdery. It's unisex imo and could be worn year round but definitely excels in the summer. It reminds me of morning linen by fiancee which I also like, but I prefer this one actually.

This is a lovely fresh perfume, very summery, I totally agree with FrkFors review. One of the best Clean scents! Also long lasting!Summer in a bottle!

I agree with @bunifahlatifahh below the comments "frutiy musk, no linen." It's citrusy-frutiy musk with a bit of lactonic aspect, so straightforward and simple. Almost cleaning product too. If you are looking for an actual clean Lenin scent demeter does it best. Good sillage and longevity.

I wouldn't wear it, but it suits a lady in her 50s or 60s

Fruity musk, no linen smell (pleasant)

First impressions: (small bottle) At first I was like oh interesting then it turned to puke for me. Youch! It’s very rubbery, ambroxan iso e super on me. So if that works for your skin chemistry you might like this one. As for me iso e super and or ambroxan smells like wood or straight up rubber on my skin. I’m sorry. Y’know what this exactly smells like? It smells like those cheap tiny bouncy balls what you get from a 50 cent machine to me.

Out of the whole line this is the scent that did not work for me. It smells sharp and synthetic. It starts with the pleasant clean notes, well mixed citrus and floral, but then turns to a nasty chemical smell. I used it to freshen my curtains, blankets and car seats - it is quite suitable for this, but I wouldn't be able to wear it on my skin.

I was surprised reading the notes of this one. All I got was sour citrus with edgy wood. No balance at all. I didn't feel neither the clean nor the linen

I see two teams here in the reviews: team soft skin musk and team harsh citrus. sadly I'm on team harsh citrus. bad batch maybe?

Here's a comparison of most laundry scents Clean offers: Fresh Linens - very very musky. Musk is the dominant note. This is the closest one to Skin by Clean in a sense that this is a very warm musky clean skin scent as well, with some amber in the base. This one I can actually smell on myself unlike Skin, although barely. Definitely has amboxan or Iso E or whatever they put in these skin type scents. It's very weak on me but I wonder if it's stronger to other people that can smell these types of scents. I assumed this scent is exactly what Skin would have smelled like based on the description. Overall it's very nice, not what I was expecting but I am pleasantly surprised. Update: I emailed the customer service and they confirmed Fresh Linens has both ISO E super and Ambroxan! Fresh Laundry - compared to Warm Cotton this smells more like actual laundry washed with floral/sweet laundry detergent, rather than the citrusy laundry detergent itself, which is what Warm Cotton is. Fresh Laundry is almost fruity in comparison. Not masculine, but somehow leans towards a more mature scent I can't see myself wearing. It just doesn't have that clean, after the shower feeling I was looking for, it's actually pretty heavy, almost dusty. Soft Laundry - not similar to Fresh Laundry at all. This is more youthful and lighter. Musky, slightly floral, and citrusy. There is definitely citrus in this despite what the notes show. Not sure if I would use it, it's a bit more like a cleaning product rather than laundry detergent or clean laundry which is what I was looking for. My main impression is that this is a soft musky neroli + lemon or some other unsweet citrus scent, not bad but not at all what's advertised. Cool Cotton - definitely straight up lemon cleaner as many people have said. I was expecting a strong lemon based on the reviews, and generally I like the smell of cleaners, but this is way too realistic, it doesn't smell like a perfume but like a literal window cleaner. Not much else to it Warm Cotton - Tide detergent scent but in the best way. Pretty unisex but only if sprayed lightly, if you spray a lot it turns slightly masculine. These types of laundry scents aren't supposed to be loud or it comes off as a cheap cologne, so I would definitely recommend only spraying one or two sprays as this is extremely strong and lasts hours. The best one out of all the Clean laundry scents in my opinion.
