Pool Daze

I’ve been trying out the new Clean "Pool Daze" and it is officially the vibe I needed for the season! It’s one of those scents that literally transports you from the first spray, it’s all bright pineapple and sweet coconut sugar. It’s so refreshing without smelling like a cheap body spray. Once it dries down, the gardenia and orange blossom kick in, and that little hint of rum in the base keeps it feeling sophisticated and "grown-up" instead of just super sweet. What I love (Pros): The scent profile is 10/10: It’s a true tropical gourmand. It really does capture that "sun soaked skin" feeling perfectly. Easy to wear: It’s light and airy, so it’s super safe for everyday wear....even if I'm just running errands or at the office. Not cloying: Even though it’s sweet, it doesn’t get heavy or headache inducing in the heat. What to keep in mind (Cons): Needs a refresher: Since it’s a lighter scent, the longevity isn't amazing. You’ll definitely want to keep it in your bag for a touch up if you’re going to be out all day. Sits close: It doesn't have huge projection, so it’s more of an intimate scent. Overall, I’m really happy with this one. It’s fun, effortless, and exactly the tropical mood I was looking for. If you’re a fan of those vacation style scents, this is definitely worth picking up!

‘Summer’ is definitely my vibe in fragrance and I feel like so many brands are almost there, but never get it 100% right. This fragrance does!! Fruity from the pineapple note, beachy from the coconut note, fun from the boozy note, sweet from the sugar note. It really does evoke ‘summer pool day with the girls’. And whilst florals are listed, this is not a floral-heavy perfume (which I prefer). It lasts longer than I thought - I sprayed this in the evening yesterday and went to bed. I could still smell it in the morning and I imagine the staying power would be even better on fabric. Really impressive for an EDT.

This fragrance smells like a photorealistic piña colada. Right at first spray, you’re hit with a burst of juicy pineapple—sweet, bright, and instantly summery. As it settles, there’s a subtle boozy note that really captures the essence of rum blended with pineapple, making it feel like an actual tropical cocktail on the skin. It’s the perfect summer scent for a true gourmand lover. Even if you’re not typically into edible-leaning fragrances, it still has a clean quality with a soft hint of florals that balances the sweetness. Overall, it leans very much into that creamy, fruity piña colada vibe.

So sad this is a limited edition summer release... it's such a beautiful coconut sugar and pineapple scent with moderate performance!! It's also a little musky and has the tiniest hint of soft florals. The fruity and sugar notes are more noticeable than the florals, which I prefer. I bought a back up bottle because this is such a fun and pretty coconut for summertime. Nothing groundbreaking, but just a scent I really like in my collection:)

Acabo de comprar el perfume ayer y ya me han preguntado que que llevo puesto, es como estar en Ibiza tomandote una piña colada, frente a la playa con un gran día de sol y tomar el fresco. Se lo recomiendo a todas esas personas que les gusta disfrutar de un buen dia de veranito isleño.

This is a beautiful summer perfume, quite similar to Brooklyn's Miami Nectar, but boozier and with a much longer-lasting scent. It blends well with fig fragrances. I also tried layering it with Maya Njie Tropica: the two scents go really well together.

DELICIOUS summer fragrance. Accurate virgin piña colada scent and fun bottle design that perfectly matches the scent. Initial coconut drowns under the pineapple though so I usually pair this with a coconut scented textile spray.

Soo much pineapple in the beginning but sadly doesn't last. A wonderful scent that really smells like pina colada. It is everything I hoped Ellis Brooklyn Miami Nectar would be. Just disappointed that it fades so quickly. The pineapple disappears after 10-20 min and you are left with a really sugary, fruity coconut scent. Lovely, I just hoped for the pineapple would last longer. I have both Guava Granita and Miami Nectar from EB and it reminds me of these scents, however more like Guava Granita than Miami Nectar. The coconut in this scent is like the coconut in Malibu Beach just sweeter. Great summer scent!

I like it for feeling like a cousin to the original Hawaian Tropic oil scent (that is now not the same at all ) but as usual with Clean fragrances it doesn't smell really natural...or intoxicating...more imitating the real... like most of their scents to me...and the known plastic undercurrent note is also in this one, but here it kinda works...you get the plastic duck in the pool as well.

It really smells like piña colada at first, but unfortunately on my skin it quickly develops into a blast of Malibu liqueur that is headache inducing. Development stages on my skin: -first 20/30 minutes- photorealistic piña colada -up to 5 hours- Malibu liqueur (rum + synthetic coconut) and some hints of sun lotion (probably the floral notes) -after 5 hours up to over 10 hours-hints of vanilla and sugar, not too sweet, more calm, pleasant. I’ve tried it few times and every time I got a headache. Definitely it’s not a safe blind-buy. It’s a shame because I love the opening in this one. Big plus for the fact that it’s just edt, with a longevity and sillage of edp, I can still smell it on myself after 10+ hours of wearing. Very good value for the money I must say. Definitely worth checking if you’re more into sweet/gourmand scents and you don’t mind a strong “booze” note. This scent is a good fit for summer parties, chilling by the pool, I don’t think it’s a safe “office friendly” option. I also think it’s a scent for a younger audience, I can imagine a lot of teenagers would go crazy about it. Summer party in a bottle.
