Skin & Vanilla Eau Fraiche

Actually love this, and have gotten quite a lot of compliments for it. It's intimate, your skin but better, but it does it so well imo. Absolutely adore the comforting combination of vanilla and musk, and the coconut and various fruits provides that beachy feeling. It smells like clean and warm skin draped in the softest cotton towels. I've emptied two entire bottles of this. My bf loves it as well.

It does have a beachy vibe to it. Sort of a cross between bronze goddess and the body shop white musk, only lighter. It fades after an hour or two, even if you layer it with the lotion. I found this for a great price. I would have returned it if I had paid full price for it. It will be great for hot weather!

I've had this for 2 years now and it's really grown on me. It's definitely a skin scent and I'm finding that it actually lasts around 6 hours on my skin. It's the perfect balance of musk and vanilla. Too bad it's discontinued now.

I didn't know that this is different than the original/first "Skin" so I bought it as fast as I saw it because I thought it was a body mist... I did notice that I didn't like it as much as when I tried Skin the first time and now when I've looked it up here I see that it does have different notes. I agree with what's been said in the other reviews here; it does have a beachy vibe and that's probably because of the coconut note I sence. It's got the scent of coconut cream/milk but I think the fruit notes makes it less creamy and (even) more suitable as a perfume for daytime and spring/summer weather. It doesn't seem to suit any specific age. The scent doesn't change on my skin and the sillage is good. It's not as subtle as I remember that Skin is and the coconut scent is prominent so I don't think people will react to it as they will to Skin, although both of them are similar. You shouldn't blind buy it if you're looking for a duplicate of the first "Skin" perfume, but you should blind buy it if you like the first one and also like coconut notes/scents and doesn't get bothered with the so called beachy vibe. Now when I've mentioned coconut a few times in this review, I should mention the vanilla too since it's got "vanilla" in the title/name: I do notice vanilla and it fits the other notes, especially the coconut note in it. But if I have to point out just one note that I sence the strongest, it will be coconut. - But yes, it's got a noticeable vanilla note in it aswell and as it, indirectly, promises.

Warm (spicy), fresh, coconut and (soft, warm) vanilla. It dries down very beautifully when it's been sitting for too long and isn't as prominent. It's like a coconut and vanilla scent was blended with some of the original Skin, so the coconut and vanilla mix is way more prominent than the original base of this scent that origins from Skin by Clean. I like it and it's a clever spin off of Skin, but I would not recommend it to someone who doesn't like coconut scents. I haven't tried Skin for a very long time but I'm sure I prefer it over this "spin off". (I think I bought this 2020 and I thought I had forgotten how the original Skin smelled so I got so confused because it smelled like coconut to me! And it said "& Vanilla" and I couldn't find this page here back then so I didn't understand why it didn't smell like the original... I thought I had gone crazy for scenting coconut from it.)

this is really nice, it's really sweet yet summery and clean, which I think is not an easy combo to find, I find coconut quite prominent and I like that, it's easy to imagine what this would smell like, because you can actually smell all the listed notes, once you spray it you get orange and vanilla then you start to smell the coconut, chocolate and red apple, when it dries down it's vanilla and musk, it also smells like it has melon in it that’s why the sweetness is balanced, I don't find it that musky at all. I spray it during my work hours to convince my brain that I'm on vacation, relaxed, and stress-free, but it's not working, apparently I underestimated my unconscious mind, but it does make me slightly happier, so that's good!

If Byredo made a coconut flanker of Bal D'Afrique, it would smell like this! I get vetiver, coconut, clean musk/Ambroxan-ish vibes, and vanilla, in that order. I also get an aldehydic vibe that recalls Byredo Blanche. Pleasant, easy, daytime, light. This would be a good 'fresh out of the shower, now heading to the beach' summertime scent for anyone who likes more quiet, close-to-the-skin fragrances. If you enjoy fresh, coconut water scents like the beloved & discontinued Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Coconut Fizz and/or DKNY Be Delicious Coconuts About Summer, this is worth a sniff.

This is a pleasant ‘your skin but better’ beachy fragrance. The price is great. It’s not too strong, but I can smell it throughout the day. It’s a fresh, watery coconut mixed with a warm vanilla musk scent. The coconut helps it from becoming to heavy on my skin. I also like there is a watery feel to this, while having an underlying warmth from the vanilla. A relaxing, inoffensive, everyday, easy grab and I find it quite enjoyable.

This fragrance is like the salt-less, slightly sweeter cousin to Skylar Salt Air. Same vibe, but softer and warmer with the vanilla, yet fresh. It's a nice, gentle fragrance to wear to bed or lounging -a slightly sweet comfort scent. I don't like super sweet or gourmand frags but to me this is fine, and not overly sweet.

Exactly what I expected a really pretty vanilla skin scent . It smells like a pretty girl to me .very alcoholly like nice smelling bug spray but if it wasn't so watered down I'd really love the scent

A pretty, tropical “non-perfume” perfume. Must love coconut. I’d wear this one to bed.

Like a previous reviewer, I'm reviewing clean classic skin and vanilla. Beachy, light watery coconut with soft musk and vanilla. Like my skin reserve but lighter and with coconut vanilla instead of praline. Very casual and easygoing skin scent that is going to be perfect for summer, a sleepy comfort scent, or work. It doesn't smell cheap but that's not to say it smells expensive by any means. That alone is impressive to me since I bought it in a set with warm cotton and mandarin for $4.49 at Ross. So I got this comforting subtle little gem for $2.25. If you can find a bottle you should get it :) very very pleased with the quality for the price

I wish the scent was stronger or lasted longer, if so I would have bought it. It smells amazing. Update, i dont like the dry down, smells like play dough. I smell that in many perfumes, dont know why. But thats a no for me

This review is for CLEAN Classic Skin and Vanilla, not for the eau fraiche. Fragrantica lacks a listing for CLEAN Classic Skin and Vanilla. The notes seem to be about the same, however. This is a warm but not sweet suntan lotion scent. If there were such a thing as "White Musk Suntan Lotion," it would smell like this. White musk, coconut, something salty, and a cheerful chemical/sunscreen note. The vetiver is light but present. Imagine if Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess came in a watered down body spray without much vetiver. That's how this smells. Tropical but casual. I can see getting a lot of wear out of this since it's only June and we are already reaching 100° F every day. Tropical without fruit; if you get tired of smelling like a fruit stand or lemonade this summer, you may want to try this one.

Applied from rollerball sample, the *only* note I get is vanilla. Not a light, clean vanilla but a warm, buttery French vanilla--which is great, if you're into that sort of thing. It smells like that Bath & Body Works Vanilla Sugar fragrance that was popular in the early 2000s. I, alas, am not into it. Was hoping for coconut and a more summery scent! Warm vanilla reads to me as winter (plus it's just cloying).

This smells very "beach-y", like it would be added to a suntan lotion. I did *not* get an Oriental scent from this but a very clean, inoffensive, generic scent. Also I purchased the roller and the alcohol content is so high I could feel it evaporating on my skin. The scent is gone within thirty minutes.

Very cheap playdough synthetic vanilla. Barely lasts
