Clinique Happy In Bloom 2008

Bought this four or five year ago, its still one my favourite spring fragrance. Its floral scent has abit of sweetness and freshness to it which make it unique. Whenever im wearing this it makes my Happy

Many fragrances claim to capture the scent of a summer's day when you're sitting refreshed after a shower in clean clothes on your front porch sipping some cold drink and enjoying the afternoon sun. But though many fragrances claim to capture that perferct summer afternoon, most of them fail to do so. Well, Clinique Happy in bloom doesn't claim to add the perfect smell to the perfet afternoon, but surprisingly it does. It's an airy scent, reminiscent of fresh outdoor air, greens, clean laundry drying in the sun, some flowers in early bloom, maybe a hint of earth, like maybe your beloved dog accompanied your working in the garden by digging up some roots ;-) It's hard to tell the single notes in it, in my opinion it's a well composed harmony where single notes mingle to the complete theme. It's easy to wear, casual, easy going and relaxed, well, like the afternoon in the garden I think. Not heavy, not headache enducing, unless you use really too much, lovely to wear in the office, actually I often did and my coworkers always asked why I smelled so good like fresh laundry. It gives a comfortable easy feeling, like that favorite , casual white cotton shirt and jeans you feel so comfortable and relaxed in. Happy in bloom is a limited edition, presented every year about february in the stores. The composition stays the same, but the flower print changes. So don't let yourself be fooled, I've been buying it for several years and it really stays the same. But I by two flacons each year, fearing one wouldn't supply me sufficiently till next year's february.

I still wear Clinique's Happy in Bloom, but this original formula will always have my heart. It was a beautiful, refreshing floral...far more pink than green. At this time Clinique only sold this scent around Mother's Day (and possibly other holidays), and I've purchased it every year since. I only wish I could find this "formula" today.

Really easy to use. I spray all over my body, hair, and clothes. Smells fresh out of the shower, but stays all day. It really works with my skin.

I have had this bottle for 17 years and it still smells as good as when I bought it. I tried it again this week and realized my taste has changed a lot over that time so I never use it anymore. I can’t stand florals or citrus anymore but this is still a nice fragrance. Very pretty and smells like spring. It lasts a really long time too. I sprayed it 18 hours ago on my wrist and I can still smell it.
