Chasing the Dragon Euphoric

"Chasing the Dragon Hypnotic" by Clive Christian is like being whisked away to an ancient, mysterious opium den. This scent, part of the Addictive Arts Collection, kicks off with a smoky mix of incense, pink pepper, and ginger, setting the stage for intrigue. The heart dives deeper with clove, black cherry, and cinnamon, wrapped in the freshness of basil and the dark warmth of fir balsam and labdanum. It all settles into a leathery, smoky finish of amber and vetiver, echoing the allure of a hidden, opulent smoking room. Sadly discontinued, this fragrance with its 25% perfume concentration was a captivating journey, spicy and rich, leaving a trail of mystery and longing for those who were lucky enough to experience it.

Simply the best. For the time when degrees are above 15. I have lots of good and expensuve perfume but I was looking for 1-2 best of bests and thats it. Very unique, very feminim, very rich and complex and extremely long-long lasting with huge sillage. But in tis website is missing my favorite note what is very intensive here: lily-of-the-vally(muguet). Oh, lots of notes missing for example cinammon, orris, cassis, amber, oakwood, patchuli, cedarwood, musks, valilla... so if you have money and want to buy a real fantastic and unique, elegant and long lasting, beautifule parfum, try this. It has really expensive feeling. Big LOVE!!!

After trying other luxury alternatives such as serge lutens section d’or, areej le dore, DM night, or parfums with similar price tag, clive christian addictivearts are just ok. additivefussion technology gives the fragrance a very long longevity. There are high quality balsamic base which is similar to "X" Myrrh limited collection. This is the reason why it can be such high price, it is not just yellow floral fragrance. To me, it is cool and elegant. I love it.

So 'Chasing the dragon' (or 'smoking heroin' as it's less colloquially known) has a feminine side and it's just as intoxicating as the name would suggest. The opening is very nice indeed and you get more of the subtle warmth and nuance before it becomes a combination of white and yellow flowers. Ylang ylang can be a really lovely thing and there's a jasmine note in here but it's not typical. I'll be honest I don't know what Muguet or Narcissus are, but I get a nearly tuberose smell from this, it's basically a very heady floral scent. There's a smooth vanilla type feel super creamy and nice. I'm not one to complain about price but I believe these are right up there in price, but I think value will very much be in the eye of the beholder. I liked it, and I like the way Euphoric tied in with Hypnotic which I felt had similar floral notes in as well. I think the quality is good but it wasn't the super strong and lasting scent I thought it would be from the opening. Don't get me wrong performance is very good, just not atomic like some white/yellow florals of this calibre.

Not my cup of tea. A little oldschool, but very sophisicated yellow floral scent. Not bad, not grandma smell, but for my taste (and for the price), it is waaay too simple sweet white & yellow bouquet of flowers. Although the drydown is less vintage and more beautiful, still, not my cup of tea.

If you want a high-quality vintage well-blended yellow floral, you could try Parfum de Nuit by Alberta Ferreti with much less $$.

These perfumes (these CC tall-blue-bottle ones) are really most extraordinary: there is something in them that gives them a certain kick that is just other than anything in any other perfume I have experienced. Whether it justifies the Crœsian price of these is I suppose a matter of personal judgement ... but one thing I would say about them is that you are not likely to find a cheaper true substitute. I sprayed a spritz of this on the back of my hand in the Selfridges boutique whilst the attention of the CC lady was elsewhere (not that that kind of stealth was really necessary - really !) - and it didn't at first seem particularly special; but as I was walking around outside later with nothing atall to contain the aroma, I was being constantly assailed by these ... mesmerisingly delectable whyphs that seemed to have some kind of electric charge to them or something!

Is this the Dragon Energy Kanye was talking about? How complicated can 3 notes be(that's if you believe this was made with 3 notes). Unbeknownst to me, this is a woman's fragrance. I got caught up in the unisex advertisement. Chasing the dragon is a sensual, creamy floral fragrance conjuring thoughts of a gorgeous satin nightie with lace trim. It snugs like secondary skin and could be the perfect attire for snuggling. This perfume is opposite of dragon: alluring, upscale, wholesome and delicate with white velvety petals from exotic flowers that entrance you with aphrodisiac qualities. The floral notes are very creamy, well rounded and untamed. Some may complain about the composition being too heady, sharp and perfumey. Chasing the dragon is panache, experienced and mysterious all at once. It's like something out of a romance novel.

Above—bringing a fresh, chaste innocence—cassis and muguet." Turned out to be quite average; something you can acquire for $150-250... Granted it's not exactly "just another generic white floral," it's not far from it, and ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THE EXCLUSIVE BS PRICE?? This is no Roja or Serge's gold collection! Most of the above-mentioned notes are presented in an overdone & synthetic way—no rich & natural smell of jasmine, ylang, narcissus, or orris, paired with barely any cinnamon, cassis, or the "muguet" smell we're familiar with lol
