I for Women Woody Floral With Vintage Rose

In a word: gorgeous. Effervescent bright citrus and floral with a nice mix of spice and warmth. Very good projection and longevity. The Clive Christian website lists the notes as: Top: Mandarin, red fruits, sparkling spices Heart: Jasmine, muguet Base: Patchouli, oud There is certainly a rose note in this composition as well since geraniol is listed as an ingredient. The patchouli and oud are not challenging at all, but give it a nice warmth and depth. Discernibly high-quality ingredients. An extremely well-blended and beautiful perfume for all genders.

I can understand the Miss Dior reference, probably the 2nd reformulation because they are both beautiful Chypres. This is my signature scent. It is always appropriate and long lasting. It smells exactly as described. A dusty rose, clean amber and thickly sweet peach. There’s other scents in this secret sauce but I’m not able to depict it.

They say this is feminine but to me as a man I say it's unisex. This can be pulled off easily on a man. It's a beautiful rose scent with some woods and citrus. The woods help counter balance it. I have a 10ml CC Travel spray. I'm gonna need a full bottle. Great stuff!

This is the best for people who complain about floral scents or rose,best citrus and floral on top and amberwood in the base notes wow what a combination, very versatile, lively ,sparkling and effervescent fragrance 10/10💙💙💙

The best CC fragrance so far! I feel a fruity floral (little pear, little peach) with all day longevity. Not so serious like the other CC that's why it is perfect for me, very wearable, feminin scent.

I - Woody Floral definitely lives up to its name of being a floral, however unfortunately lacks the woody aspect. It opens initially very bright, fresh and invigorating as clean citruses of bergamot, mandarin and grapefruit combine with pink and black pepper. From here the scent becomes dominated by an accord of red berries which are intensely juicy and fruity. The pink pepper and red berries take charge throughout the life of the scent, with gentle touches of rose and jasmine. In the base there is claimed to be patchouli, vanilla, oud and vetiver, however these are not present in the slightest unfortunately. The rose in here reminds me of L - Floral Chypre, which uses the same thick, sweet, almost candied rose accord. Woody Floral is a pleasant and enjoyable fragrance to wear if you like red berries and rose, however I feel it lacks depth and development. It doesn’t warrant the high price tag and leaves you wanting more, personally I would choose Floral Chypre instead.

I don't think I've even found two fragrances that I 'love' from this line of like 15. There's a great variety, but they're all either entirely one dimensional or so transparent that they might as well not even exist. This is basically as the name suggests. It's a woody floral... with rose. Yes good job, Clive Christian naming team... you can identify fragrance families.

Thanks to ARR22 I got a sample of this. I agree, it is unisex. As a man, I would definitely wear this. It is actually one of the best things I have ever smelled from Clive Christian. It is a fruit forward amber floral. 8.5/10

Beautiful fragrance, mid performance, overpriced asf.

Although this is just woods and floral notes. I’m getting a smooth almost aquatic like note as well as spice. It’s kind of a fresh spicy floral with a hint of fruit which I’ve never smelled before. I’m not wowed. I think it’s just ok. I see a few comments about this being very sweet but I don’t get any sweetness at all. Update I don’t like this at all. This fragrance projects and the smell lingering in the air isn’t pleasant to my nose. I had to wash it off on both occasions when I tested my sample.

Despite of simple and joyful notes that we see in a pyramid this guy is no easy at all. If I compare it with a person it would be beautiful man or woman, reach, smart but definitely not the one who smiles to everyone and very friendly. He/She is very arrogant and sees other people as those who not worth the attention (maybe there are some exceptions though). The perfume has metallic undertone or base (not 100% sure what gives this effect, but CC E for Woman that I used to have also shows this metallic base). Wow, I did not meet such an arrogant perfume yet... did not know it exist... After wearing Chanel Comet couple of days, that is also sophisticated, refined and hight-class, but has mach more love to people. I CC is a total snob and egoist. Dec 4: can't stop wearing it. I realize that it changed day after arrival. Somehow. It was much louder and almost attacked my nose. Next day I feel peaches or nectarines... very high class. Now this person (that one that I initially described as arrogant) feels staid and simply knowing her worth. Really. The waves of this composition project this feeling to me. I also ordered No1.

The niche crowd are so hard to please. This is insanely good. It smells nothing like Miss Dior. I don't know what other fragrance it smells like, if anything. I will agree that it is a nice dusty rose fragrance, something endearing, familiar, and pretty. It also has a mysterious edge to it and some depth I can't fathom. The sensation of coming to a large crevasse and not daring to look but feeling the vastness. The prettiness moves into sublime beauty. There are definitely notes not listed here. Lasts forever and a day. Enjoy!

I put this on my skin and oh my...the sweetest ambery rose I have tried in a long time. Sublime. A juicy mandarine note opens the show, then you get a second fruity note that seems to be peach or maybe a peachy osmanthus flower? Then you get roses galore, the drydown is a sweet, woody vanillic amber. Glorious. I am getting full bottle and back up. I need this in my life.

Sweetness pop at the start. The mandarin feels like it’s joined by juicy stone fruit (peaches?). The rose doesn’t feel vintage at all. Smells quite fun and youthful, but still classy and expensive. I can detect the cedar backbone as well. It’s nice :) I don’t get miss dior (this definitely has depth and class well beyond).

"Sweet floral amber fragrance". This is a no for me. Kinda dissapointed, way too sweet in my opinion. It's like you had a rose syrup, I just wish it was some kind of twist to it. Smells kinda cheap and too sweet for a luxury brand like Clive Christian.
