Jump up and Kiss Me Hedonistic

I love many things about this fragrance. Not so much the longevity. I get a lovely cardamom and lavender throughout its whole duration, none of which is on the list, so maybe that's rather the Clary Sage. Otherwise, at first I get fruity, green, herbal. Then, for a while, it smells like an assortment of popular ladies' perfumes. Like I've gone to a social dance party, and I've picked up a mix of the scents of a number of different lovely ladies I've hugged or danced with, who all smelled really good. Oddly, I greatly enjoy that part, and it still manages to feel masculine somehow. That passes, and it becomes a very masculine amber, leather, vanilla. After several initial sprays, it lasts for a few hours, 3 or 4 for me. Well, it leaves a bit of a skin scent, hardly noticeable. If it were La Nuit de l'Homme, or something like that, no problem, I'd just respray it 2 or 3 times per day, and I'd be really happy with it. But in this price range here, I'd expect it to be around for a day or so, as with several other Clive Christian perfumes. Do I go nose blind to it? I don't know, I'll have to try a few more times, and see if anybody else can smell it. Btw, the notes listed on the top here are totally incomplete. This is what the Clive Christian site says: "This is a woody oriental fragrance with Gourmand, fruity and narcotic notes. It starts with a citrus accord of Bergamot, Grapefruit and Neroli, combined with a fruity herbal green accord of black cherry, and Clary Sage. It is followed by Jasmine in the heart with notes of Orris, Tobacco and Papyrus to give sensuality and depth. The base is an oriental woody style, rich with Ambers, smoky leather and rich resinous Labdanum, sweetened with a touch of Tonka and Vanilla."

As someone who is new to testing niche/higher end fragrances... my knowledge is very limited. So my references may be off or be very simple. There's a bit of woodiness I can smell if I think about it. It's really good. I am going to keep testing it to see if it's just the opening that I'm getting that from, or if that's just how it is. This suspicion comes from the fact that it smells different when I smell the atomizer after I sprayed it. On clothes it still smells like a certain laundry detergent/dryer sheet mixture. So good. I need a full bottle. It lasts a pretty long time, too. I do like it.

Finally got my nose on this; smells like Blonde Amber infused with smoky leather, a little less gourmand but not by too much, gets woodier as it dries on my skin. It smells wonderful on my skin but it doesn't go above arms' length, but it's still there humming. I'll be on the lookout for discount sellers for a bottle.

Incredible scent but the price is just nuts! The notes pyramid in this site is wrong... I do have decants at a great price if you want to find out what this smells like.

Hear me out, I swear there is something about this that keeps reminding me of Prada L’homme Intense which I love.

Had a few pennies to spare and said to heck with it and acquired all 3 male themed scents in the Addictive collection. My overall impressions are generally positive for Vision in a dream psychedelic and Chasing the dragon hypnotic. As for Jump up and kiss me hedonistic, well suffice to say just as expensive as the others and so impossible now to sell. The only one of the 3 I will sell at a large discount, as keeping it around is just a reminder of how shameful, really so it was of CC to ever release his scent. There is nothing, I repeat nothing of worth to be found here. Initial burst of what can only remind me of a softer sweeter, oh too sweet, version of MB le parfum. Probably the latter, at a mere fraction of the cost of the CC is actually a bit more tolerable. Let is settle into a imo a teenage girl type of cloying aroma , such as what would be found around a cosmetics section for teens. Longevity is a joke as is projection. I tried to pinpoint what went wrong with this scent. Now, I have to admit the other two siblings , hypnotic and psychedelic are in my top flight of perfumes. So, I do believe it is the nose assigned to create this scent. She has too little experience and it shows. Take a gander at her bio and ask yourself, given her limited and mediocre range of creations to date, why entrust her with the task of designing an ultra expensive fragrance. Very confounding of CC to do so and does demonstrate a lack of real punching power in the fragrance industry. Thank the heavens he actually succeeded with the aforementioned Addictive Arts siblings , alas hedonistic is an absolute dud.

The whole line is very disappointing. Very. The price is ridiculous. Clive Christian went from launching one well rounded creation per year to a department store brand flanker strategy. Do they secretly sold themselves to L'Oreal?..

Sampled it today! To me, it's very similar to Spicebomb Extreme. A catchy name for an average fragrance.

To me, in the drydown its very similar to PR Black XS L'Excess 2012 version.

not really feeling this amber , should get my hands on the 2021 version
